Second the ABV is more darkened and dusty than any other I’ve used. I mean it is still intact as far as a shape but just barely rustle it and it collapses to a pile. Is there anything still “in there”?

The DynaVap extracts so well my abv is very dark brown. IMO there’s not enough goodies left to keep it.

I just toss it. Not worth the effort to extract what little may be left.

Ya know, the ABV thing is a conundrum. I hate to throw it out because I know it must have SOME use, but I usually vape it until it is darker and tends to have no odor left. I would think that if the odor is gone it is probably done, yet I can't throw the stuff out. I figured some day I would find a use for it, but I must have at least a QP of it at this point and I am running out of old pill bottles to put it in...

If it’s nice and brown I’ll keep it around, until I have about 20 grams or so then I make some brownies or some oatmeal cookies. Once it goes towards black, toss it. There’s still some bang in there, my wife can only handle a small portion of my edibles , I have a high tolerance so use edibles at your own risk.:rofl:

If I'm outside abv goes on the ground... if I'm in my house or workshop I knock it out in containers....I collect several ounces at a time in a large coffee can then just dump it on top of a bonfire or dump it in my worm bed.

I'm not a fan of edibles.

But I also try and get as much as possible out of my herb before throwing it out...

I do the same thing. I do actually use mine when I'm out of herb. I load up my VC with my ABV with a DDave wand and do one major heating cycle (several seconds past the click) and extract the rest. Usually doesn't give me much as I tend to go pretty dark the first time, but it's definitely better than nothing.

The first batch of edibles i made with abv (commissioned a friend) the end result was some of the most potent edibles I've ever had... I've yet to recreate that same extreme high.
I think it's worth saving and extracting what's left....

Hmm. Now my shipping (for shadow M) is saying Dec 19th :bang:
Any more Canadian registered dynavap resalers??
I feel like I should just order an omni xls in the mean time. Maybe it makes it to me quicker??

I thought my vapcap abv would be pretty spent but like @Chandler said, it makes some very potent edibles.

I went with wrapping the bud in lettuce and it definitely helped. I have now added some lemon peel (in tin foil, pricked) to 3 different stash jars....... But for how long? Couple of hours? Overnight? It couldn't go mouldy in 24 hours, could it?

Finally got my Omni in!! Loving it so far guys. Been on the fence for awhile now cuz i didnt necessarily need another vape but u all know how that goes lol Tried some flower, some hash and some shatter so far. Really impressed by this vape with how simple the design is.

I also see a lot of you discussing your ABV bud. A tip I picked up awhile back was to soak my ABV in everclear. Then just leave the everclear out under a fan to evaporate. The wax left isnt the most appealing looking but it will give you a good idea to how much actual goodies are left. Ive gotten about a gram of claim per oz of ABV so the return isnt amazing but personally making edibles with the wax makes it easier and more potent. It also makes saving large amounts of ABV easier.

I think you guys may have created a monster. Two months ago I didn’t even know what a VapCap was, then I bought a VapCap M, and after reading about induction heating, I just built myself one of those too.

I followed a diagram that I found here on the site - thank you @stardustsailor! I know it’s not fancy, but this puppy was very low-cost to build and works like a charm. It’s fun to use and I’m consistently getting nice, big tasty hits. And there’s no butane to buy. :D

I’m not aware of one, and I’m sure I won’t remember everyone right now but I can tell you for sure that @phattpiggie @stardustsailor and @mrb have all made and sold stems recently. If you look for their posts in this thread you should see some of their work. :)
