@PandaLee try using less in the FP or same as you use in the vapcap in the FP. I found less in the FP the better the Lift.

Love my vapcap but don’t use flame only my log to heat it.

I got a IH running a lipo coming soon. Can’t wait to do induction heating on the couch.

Do the Ti stems transfer heat when using IH? More than wood stems would be my guess.

I received a reply from DynaVap regarding my question of what does M stand for.

Here is their answer...

Hi

Thank you for reaching out to us here at DynaVap. The M is just the M it does not stand for any thing.

Thank you
Christina

What incredible marketing savvy. LOL (Also, anything is one word)

I take it models A-L were not entirely successful.

Any new development in VapCap evolution?

It would be minor, but it would be good to add a dedicated XL version of the M— the
Franken-M, while practical leaves a lot to be desired in the aesthetic eye. YMMV.

Perhaps an knurled XL M, a knurled Ti stem?

with a small portable induction heater. Hehe.

Haven’t seen something new in the VapCap horizon lately.

I'm with you stark1....you are a very smart person...:myday::cool:

Some of you lot are more experienced weed users than me. Am I right in thinking that freshly harvested weed vapes much more harshly than properly cured stuff? My last deal was very dank Mango but I found it harsh to vape in the Omni. No worries though -

I've been enjoying the PortSide Mini I bought off @oddjobold A LOT!
If I stop right at the second click I get plenty of great flavour, and decent clouds after the first heat cycle.
I've been swapping between a Ti VC, A steel one and a wood one (no condenser or carb hole) and can't detect any diff' as far as heat transfer to the stem goes.
None of them get uncomfortably hot near the tip.
This holds for flame or IH.

Pipes IH does highlight the different gaps between first click & second .
Great consistancy makes everything very obvious.
I haven't tried SS tips in it yet BTW, performance will likely vary with them, but I don't anticipate any more stem heat than with a torch.

Hack, you are scaring the heck out of me, with your avatar..... :bang: Yah, mon.

Well, someone here once told me, "Sometimes you can be a little tense". LOL

But I'm trying hard, Ringo. Real hard.... to be the shepherd.

Got my new Pipes Portside Mini today. This is very nice. Very, very nice I am absolutely going to get a nice leather belt pack to hold this and the accompanying accoutrements for when I go hiking or climbing. Seems like every time I put the VapCap in the drawer in favor of another vape...... up pops a reason to bring it back out.

Very versatile little invention for sure. They seem to multiply like little Gremlins.

Anyway... kudos to Pipes and DynaVap

Starkey I am not. Sir.

You will find lugging a small brick on your belt can be a drag. After a while. See Alice.

Something smaller would be ideal.
Is there a smaller option available that I am not aware of ? I’m thinking of getting a Jarhead while everyone else perfects the portable IH. Unless DV is about to drop theirs, anyone hear any rumors ?

Git yer Chinese VapCaps here folks. Step right up and be the first......

EDIT: Removed link

I could be wrong but somehow, these don't look like genuine VapCaps. ;)

Asking kind of a lot for a knock-off.

If I am not mistaken, this copy will not have the TRUFLEX disc in the cap. Just a wild guess.

Not a bad profit for a fake M, made pennies on the dollar. Looks lil cheesey.

Look Ma, no click! Just the Geiger counter.

I’ve found something similar but haven’t really talked about it yet. Since I picked up the FP and started out using small amounts (which was right after a break), I kept feeling like I had a very low tolerance.

To me it’s not a “better Lift” but a higher chance of unwanted effects like anxiety, but I’m guessing many people would feel it the way you do. When I finally decided to just throw a lot in the bowl and deal with whatever mental effects came because I needed to get more in me for medicinal purposes I was surprised to find that it was *less* likely to be a problem.

More on topic, I’ve been finding the same with the VapCap with Ti tip adjusted to the smallest setting vs the largest.

I don’t know if most people would have the same results, but for me this is most noticeable the first time I use it in a day, so anyone who wants to experiment might want to try each way when they start on different days.

That does look a bit off...the shape of the mouthpiece for example doesn’t look quite right to me.

The mods don’t want links to counterfeit vaporizers posted here though, so they’ll probably remove it if you don’t.

Love my JarHead. Obviously anchored to a plug, but great for home use.
Nothing μ portable in the market, yet.

Seems something may be brewing Thursday....

Being in a progressive state, I don’t need stealth, just an EDC portable IH to “match”
a small VapCap.
You will find lugging a small brick on your belt can be a drag. After a while.
As you say a smaller unit isn't just about stealth, it is about comfort and convenience too. Where I live I really need both. I am awaiting better battery chemistry to allow more power in a smaller size. Obviously I can't be in a hurry, but better batteries ARE coming. In the mean time I am using torches with my VCs away from home...

In truth, after additional consideration, I expect legality in my state is likely to precede the availability of better battery tech. I am hoping for (almost said expecting) legal rec within a year of the right guy becoming our gov in Nov...
But I'm trying hard, Ringo. Real hard.... to be the shepherd.
Oh, and btw...
:p

Been a while since I've posted in this thread; coming here for advice. VAS has hit and I'm considering picking up a new Vapcap. The thing is, I have a few Ms which I use daily (currently 100% of my vaping) with a portside mini and am curious as to whether or not any other item in the Dynavap lineup would be a considerable upgrade from this setup apart from aesthetics ie: different woods etc.

Or should I (gasp) consider an different , new vape to add to my collection?

IMO it is worth mixing it up and trying out something different. Different vapes tend to give a different signature (high) and helps keep the dreaded plateau at bay.
This question could quickly get off topic, so you may want to create a new thread.

If you've not tried using your M's through water I'd highly recommend @DDave Water Wands and/or the full kit: https://www.ddavemods.com/store/c6/DynaVap_Vaporizers.html

I have four Water Wands-two with SS tips and two with Ti Tips and they are the bomb. And easy on the pocket-book.
