this looks like it might work depending on the diameter. a little narrow, rather than a larger surface the NewVapes bowls have. I've talked to SIpipes.com on the phone and they can customize any of their products to your needs without much of a price difference(within reason) if I remember correctly.

if you are thinking of buying this, you might want to request one without a logo as i don't know where they put it, and if it will hold up with showerhead usage. you also should contact them anyway for sizing info and such...

It doesn't really function as a carb cap when you start adding adjustable airflow though. CCA710 tried adjustable carb caps and they didn't go over well at all.

I'm not necessarily convinced I get the vacuum pressure reduction in boiling point when carbing flowers at all. The whole point of a carb cap is to add convection heat to a conduction dab. It doesn't add more convection to an already convective flower vape hit, it just slows down airflow IMO. I just use my lungs to adjust airflow which seems to work better for me.
So here's my thoughts on what is taking place with the SC...

Naturally, the tiny hole restricts airflow which keeps someone's draw speed in check. For some of us, restricting air flow with our lungs alone isn't a problem although for someone that hasn't tried it before or is new to it, perhaps this helps them. I don't personally need it but some may.

The other thing I imagine though is 'pre-heating' the air which goes into the chamber. By adding the cap, it traps the heat in a 'bubble' and the air is slightly pre-heated before going into the chamber. So it doesn't add more convection but I do believe it increases the air temperature prior to going into the chamber. How much this matters or affects things is beyond me. Just my thoughts...

I'm with you though, I don't notice much gain UNLESS I'm on low temps. And even then, I still find myself wanting to crank the temp to around 700f. Plus, I hate giving someone a shitty hit, especially when I'm trying to show them how effective vaping can be. If it is just me by myself (haven't done this in awhile), I may load a full bowl have the temps around 600-625f and then start capping later in the bowl but I really only do this if I am alone. Loading a fresh shovel (.05g ish) at 710f, no fiddling with SC, can be handed to anyone and can be used with just about any airflow. You can overpower it at 710f but it's easy to explain to the user to slow down the intake a bit, if that happens. It takes a pretty strong intake though to overpower.

Thank you! I'm going to give them a call now and see what they can come up with.:)

Ive been capping since day 1. IMO its the only way to go.

615 with the cap. Milks up my Stereo Matrix Mobius almost instantly and tastes fantastic.

Same here. I try uncapped a few times and just couldnt get it to rip. Once i capped it, the milks comes on my SOL using either SH or FP WA

pretty high ,So the 18mm adjustabowl has a larger hole? It musthit diffrent with a larger brown spot so small hits can bbigger and more spread out.

I dont have the 14mm post for the panhead yet. I only used a caliper to measure the 18mm post for the panhead and compared it to the ID of both the OG Bowl with handle and the 14mm stubby. But to answer you questions with what i am measuring.

YES, the 18mm post is slightly large ID than the 14mm OG bowl and 14mm stubby. As for performance. I cannot tell a difference using the 18mm Panhead compared to the 14mm stubby. I seldom ever use the OG bowls with handle as the screen sits too high.

I do really like the new adjustable bowls tho. easy to use, looks great on glass and sits flush with the coil nut too.

Glass bowls are getting more popular. Hopefully Newvape can beat some of these other folks to market. I bet that new ELEV8R could be used with the SH. Might not be a perfect fit but I bet it would work. If I get one I'm going to experiment.

We really need glass bowls....I can not say that enough @NewVape420 :D

Agreed. I too want glass bowl like the errlectric dryherb. Has anyone tried to use a 14mm female glass adapter and put a screen in it? The coil nut sits on a 14mm female. Not so air tight tho.

I agree with you on this.

I’ve definitely noticed an increase in vapor density while using the showercap. Without it, I usually find the vapor too airy nor am I happy with the avb color - I do feel like the SC causes an increase in temperature over the set value as well

Agreed! I find I can replicate this uncapped by simply increasing the PID temperature. I feel like AVB color pretty much confirms this.

I do think a showerhead with smaller diameter air holes would still provide a very comfortable, open airflow, with just enough extra resistance to work on those water tools that give off airy SH hits.

My buddy has a little 12" straight tube and I have to crank the temp way up or it gives pretty wispy hits from that pipe. Pipes with a removable downstem in general tend to need higher temps in my experience as they usually have very low chug compared to stemless designs.

With the regular WA top, when I cover the milky clouds start building after a 2-3 seconds of my first draw. I've done without cap, and it's smooth but thin clouds...but I haven't done an entire bowl this way because capped works well for me. I'm going to save the uncapped hits for when I get the showerhead top.

On the glass bottom, I'm assuming having the titanium going over the glass multiple times would be an issue, probably good chance that glass bowl won't last very long. It might have to be a titanium bottom with perhaps a quartz bowl insert? Just thinking out-loud here, perhaps not as easy to do as we think and to still have a large enough bowl to kind of compare to what we're currently accustomed to packing.

yeah, i think it's best to wait what newvape is going to offer. glass warps over time when continously heated... don't know at what temps. i'd buy a insert that was held into place on the current bowl, but is it really needed? it would just produce more reclaim maybe, probably less harsh, and maybe less vapor production at current temps set.

Did they discontinue the d-nail wraparound? I just purchased a sic and quartz halo so I can use it for flowerpot. Can't find it on their flowerpot sale page

Edit: found it using search

I was just planning to be aware of the glass bowl when I'm using it. With the proper focus I don't see myself breaking it if it's a decent thickness. I pretty much assume the risk to enjoy a tastier bowl. That's how I'm looking at it. Glass bowls might not be good for all.

Another option may be the Arizer Eq cyclone bowl - https://arizer.com/store/extreme-q-parts-accessories/ , i have one at home and can see if it fits later .

I have an ELEV8R on the way!
I was one of the lucky ones chosen to review it.
Funny, first thing I thought when I saw it was, hmm how can I use that with the FP? Lol
Maybe a triple decker..

A few people have the 7th floor Elev8 in there hands and from what i am hearing is it works but takes way to long for the heat up , i think the Vapcaps are the better option from my readings but hey it was free so i'm wishing you luck with it.

I haven't read anything about it yet, but that's one of the first things I wondered about. It also looks kind of awkward to spin. But I was mostly interested in the bowl when I saw it lol.
Buy yeah.. Free. So we'll see

A few online ramblings around including reddit , its all glass so i bet the taste should be really nice and it does look fun to use ( Somewhat ) . Maybe you can find a 2nd use with that bowl. Please let us know if so.

14mm M-F adapter (pretty much the same as a Vapocane adapter) w/ a Vapocane screen. Fine-ish grind at 700°F. Filled about 2/3 the way up to the top from the screen.

Cloud city!
Shit was still green & I got another fat rip the same size after to cash it. Not the best flavor here, but very medicating!

Hi has anybody from Canada ordered a Newvape flowerpot? I can see what shipping will cost however I am trying to find out what my fellow Canadians were charged for duty when the product arrived. Any help would be much appreciated thanks.
You're in luck cause I literally just got back from Canada Post where I had to pay the border fees.
I paid 35$ CAD in fees and I purchased, the Showerhead kit, Panhead bowl kit, double weave screens, showercap with dabber, and "HOT" post. Hope that helps.

Can't wait to finally try this thing out!
The adjustable bowl fits perfectly in my D020-d! I was concerned about that the most.
The machining is so beautiful!!!
