Everyone having timeout issues, I found its browser specific. I had issues on Chrome/Chromium/Firefox 7/Firefox 4

I finally tried Internet Explorer 9 this morning as a quick test and it checked out without any issues! Hope that helps you guys!

The cost isn't bad at all- under $10 handling per package plus the standard international shipping, and some of them seem to have bulk deals with couriers to get even cheaper rates. If you can't wait and these aren't being shipped over oceans, then it might be worth looking into.

I'm in the international club to! Lets hope we can use a converter and don't have to wait for the UK / EU version! Could you give me names of the companies that have a US shipping address and do the forwarding for you? Thanks.

Heres hoping to getting the cloud in the UK early :p

Well I do not know about that.

All I know is SM told me I could pre order in April 2010.

I asked him if I had to have the Cloud send to a USA adress in order to be able to preorder and then order.
He answered me that they would ship to France if I was willing to take the risk with the 110V and stuff. So I did not put a USA friend of mine in line in April 2010 and I really hope they will be up to their word on that...although I am quite confident when it comes to SM55 word.

I am waiting since day 3 (april 14 2010) and did not received an email these past days...so sorry if I seem like spamming this thread but I am kinda eager to read that this USA version will be shipped to my adress ;)

How do you know what number you where? I got the first email and made an account and put the SGW package in my cart and filled credit card info and bought it. It took 1 dollar out of my account but now it doesnt show that happened. I never seen an order number and I'm curious if I really reserved my spot in line? I got no email confirming that after purchase.

Is it me or is it odd that everyone of us can pre-order a sov hydratube? I thought there was a specific list of people already in line for it and it was filled???

Also, hate to bother the VXL crew, but still would love to see a picture of that beast :cool:

Nosferatu, after filling out the credit info and clicking submit I was taken to a page that had an order number for me, the date of ordering, and the amount with a description of what package I got. I don't think anyone has received a confirmation order.

So excited to have my first piece of Sovereignty glass!

Quick update, I am working with our order processor to see why people are being timed out. On our end, we had tested all browsers and are still looking into it resolving this ordering issue

I managed to answer most emails last night and will be answering them in order this morning. Sorry for the delay.

I will be back later to answer some of the general questions from the international folks...

back to the emails...

Yep same old time out error 3 times (on 2 different browsers) I guess I need to go vape until I get an email back from SM... :p

I'm cool though, cuz I know the monkey will come thru for me...

First, thank you to all who have ordered. You are helping us make the dream come true, i.e., building something great for great people.

Moreover, thank you so much for bearing with us while we sort out the nuts and bolts of the e-commerce side of this enterprise. We thought we had everything wired tight but as the saying goes "No battle plan survives first contact." It's bumpy, kludgey, and quite frankly kind of embarrassing. So per usual, we're hanging our dirty laundry out for all to see. No sense in pretending there are no issues when plainly there are.

Monkey + Robot - Thanks again for your honesty. We know things happen. Just reporting that at 1:58PM Eastern, there doesn't seem to be any "Shipping" method to select during checkout. The product itself shows and there's an outline where shipping methods would be, but nothing there. Just hitting Submit sends me to the payment window. Now, I think it absolutely awesome if the $425 Sov pack comes with free shipping in the US, but its a tad confusing to have a shipping window at all and I just wanted to see if that was a bug or not. I'm using the latest Firefox build (NoScript deactivated etc..).

Are there supposed to be shipping methods to select, or even a default "free shipping" options? Or maybe I missed this being addressed earlier in the thread somewhere?

Edit: When I completed and placed my order (#111!), in addition to the Shipping issue discussed above, I should report that I didn't receive any by-email confirmation of order. Not sure if this is by design as well. I printed my submission page for record-keeping to be sure, but just in case you guys are tweaking the e-commerce setup, it didn't provide an automated order confirmation as most storefronts do.

I saw the shipping methods and prices, for UPS etc. on the last time I tried, but on the first couple times, I experienced the same as you did. All the tweaking is just a part of the process!! One day I am sure we will all remmber that we are a part of history in the making here! ;)

I don't have a printer so i didn't print it thinking i would get an email confirmation also. but no email arrived. just wanted to point that out! omg so excited. the 60-80 day countdown begins!

I experienced the time-out error with Firefox and Chrome. No time-out error with IE. Worth a try if you are having time-out errors. (1st time I fired up IE for months!)

Number 83 can't wait no email conformation either but I snapped a screenshot of the confirmation page. Good snuff for me lol had to go with the Sov the sgw showerdome didn't appeal to me

I didn't even notice you could buy extra bowls till people started mentioning them. I was so set on getting my order in fast so i'd have a good place in line :lol:
Has anyone been charged yet though? I had a $1 transaction that was followed by a reversal yesterday, and still showing nothing today.
