Yeah Im experiencing the check out error as well, I assume this must be the payment processer issue SM55 mentioned:

The time allotted for pre-reserving your inventory has expired.
Please enter your order again.

Hope this gets resolved quick! I want my order as close to the front of the line as possible! :)

Great news, indeed! I also don't see an email. Not sure which account I used for it, though. Did all the emails go out at the same time?

When I found the email buried with about 200 other spam emails dated today, I clicked the "not spam" button in Yahoo's mail. I believe this whitelists future emails from that sender, but I'm not 100% certain. The second email I got was from a different sender, so it wouldn've have been whitelisted anyway in this case. It, too went into my spam pile and I had to dig it out from there (actually was all the way down on page 3 of my spam email).

It does. Yahoo actually has a pretty good spam filter, but you have to check behind any filter. None of 'em get it right all the time.

max,
I know this has been discussed, but it's a huge thread and the search feature doesn't get you too far in this case...

Which of the less expensive tubes is "better?" I know that's an absurd question because people have different opinions, one may be smoother and one ropes harder, one may be more delicate... But for those who have tried both, which would you prefer between the StoneGlassWorks or the Vertigo?

I haven't tried the Hydratubes, but I have tried a circ from Glasstafarian and a 15 arm tree from LW. Both offer good diffusion IMO, however the difference between them is the feel/gluggy-ness of the hit. Circs tend to have small bubbles which make a "purr" sensation. Trees have slits and usually openings in the bottom which are bigger, this makes bigger bubbles so it is in essence it is gluggier. Id say just keep watching videos and try to think if you want a purr like hit or a gluggy type hit.

Personally I LOVE my 15 arm tree, but Im going with the SGW circ on this one cause of the sleek size and I want another SGW piece in my collection(had a waffle before)

Any news guys on an international 220-240V version? Congratulations on production, it looks like it has been a long journey for many of you but well worth the wait I'm sure!

thanks man, i'd prefer the "purr" sensation so i will go for the sgw hydratube on your recommendation. no pics of the sovereignty so far though. anyone try it/seen it before?

Thanks SM, I'm lucky number 67. You may have a long night ahead. Good luck.

IAmKrazy2,
Curses! All the awesome input from you guys and the very good VXC youtube videos made by StoneMonkey and others have just made the tube choice that much harder.

I prefer the 10 arm Vertigo on principle, because it seems to hit just a bit smoother and I also already have a showerdome perc on another piece.. However, the flush glass joint of the SGW tube seems like it would take far more abuse than the exposed joint. I may end up flipping a coin on this one.

Will be released a few months after our US launch. By then, we hope the lead times are significantly lowered.

I went with the Vertigo HT even though I like the recessed joint of the SGW tube better. I'll probably end up owning both if truth be told. I know myself too well...
