Thanks, Pappy...you saved a bunch of us from a similar disappointment.

Speaking for myself, it's a shame you're no longer an EQ man; will miss the posts.

The Da Buddha is a great alternative, though. Good luck and thanks again.

Thanks so much! But I'm not going anywhere. As a matter of fact I'm entertaining getting another EQV! :D

Just got home from work

packed the elbow twice

took a few really huge rips off my vape/water-ice bong set up

SOOOO IN LOVE !!! :D

wolf torn,
I'm having issues creating alot of vapor with my bong/whip setup. Any tips? I tried the elbow packing and everything, but I seem to be creating more vapor with the balloon...

I've really enjoyed my Extreme-Q but if I had any complaint it would be the ripoff pricess for replacement parts. Five dollars plus shipping to get 2 elbow screens is BS. They should make those available by themselves at a reasonable price instead of trying to gouge people.

If you ordered anything else such as a cyclone bowl, tuff bowl or elbows they will throw the screens in comp. That is if you order from Arizer.

A cyclone bowl with a thick silicone sleeve. I stays cool to the touch and is well protected from drops. It is basically the only bowl I use.

chucku,
Well here is my bong/whip setup

I ended up using this 14mm adapter

There's no leaks, I do get vapor, however, it's not nearly the amount I have seen on some of these videos that are on this site.

I get really good vapor with the balloon. I tried the whip by itself and didn't like the vapor, was hoping adding the bong would help with the vapor production, but it's not.

Is it just a manual draw? Fan assisted draw? Higher temp? Already tried the elbow pack. Bigger bong? Anything? lol

Dammit...really shouldn't be doing this vaped...will repost pics later :ko:

Got the power cord in today and been vaked out of my mind since then. I love this thing, when I'm not nearly as medicated I'll write something useful about this unit haha. :D

Whip vs. bag is normally a matter of vapor density, not amount. Packing the elbow, especially, gives richer hits than you can get by using a bag, whether it's the E or a 'cano. The problem could be that you're drawing too hard. Can't go wrong hitting a bag, but direct draw has a learning curve. Drawing hard pulls in a lot of cold air, lowering the vaping temp and vapor output. Try a slower draw and see if you get better results.

I do get vapor, however, it's not nearly the amount I have seen on some of these videos that are on this site.
Keep in mind that vapor isn't nearly as visible as smoke, and the quality of light you exhale into makes a huge difference as to visibility. Don't get hung up on seeing big vapor clouds. You're obviously getting high.

anyone elses fan kind of give out on them?

My fan makes noise, and I can feel it moving air when I put my hand over the base of the actual unit itself...

but somethings wrong

I used to be able to take whip hits and turn the fan on and have it fill up my lungs nicely.

I've noticed now, the fan turns on and makes noise and everything but there isn't any output anymore

and I have to put it on level 3 just to remotely feel any kind of air flow

Thanks for the input. Yeah, I think I just need to play around with it more. I'm more than satisfied with the balloon system. One of the reasons I got this model than one of the others. I'm not done playing with the whip system. I'll get it down one of these days. Have to admit, these are one of those projects I really don't mind working on lol. :D

Always fun to test out toys of this nature!

It seems pretty commonplace that Extreme users begin with the bag because of its ease of use and novelty and eventually leave the bags behind all together. That was my experience at least; the bags were a great, fun introduction to vapor but after some time they felt much more harsh and stale than the tastier whip.

Turn EQV upside down and shake gently. Then a gentle blast of compresses air on heater when unit is off.

Nope, aznfkn pride just forgot to put it in originally and sent it priority when he found out. It's amazing :) Me and my friends through in about a 1g to 2g and have just kept filling 2 bags over and over and over again. It's been going solidly for an hour and right now we're up to 235c and getting good vapor bags, they're not amazingly tasty anymore but still good and strong! We love this thing!

Theo,
I really love my EQ! It's been a blast getting to know this great machine! However, due to my slight OCD when it comes to the cleanliness of my pieces, I accidentally broke one of my elbow joints. So, I was looking to see if there were any custom glass pieces available, and the only two that I've been able to find is the stuff Rockwise has on the site (which I find a bit tame) and Clear Dome. Does anybody know if CD is still blowing glass? I messaged him and waiting impatiently to see if he replies. Are there any other vendor that deals with custom pieces? Would really like to have some options here to show off my EQ even more! :D

I'm not sure but how about placing a couple drops of the oil with a bit of herb? Or are you wanting to use the oil only?

With the Extreme Q, what does it mean when the heat LED starts to blink? I have seen it blinking in demonstrations but never thought to ask. There is no info in the manual and I am just assuming that the blinking means it has reached the desirable temp. Anyone know?

On mine the HEAT LED indicates when the element is actively heating up.

I take a hit, the element kicks on and starts heating. The light is off when the unit is at-temp.

my Heat led seems to blink the whole time my EQ is on at a constant pace.

iv recently noticed that my bowl is able to move the glass piece that it fits onto so its become a little loose
does anyone know how to tighten tighten this im not sure what the proper name is sorry.
