My Grasshopper order is stuck in Canadian customs right now for the last 2 days.
I am hoping everything will go smoothly......but I did order 20 batteries along with my 3 Hoppers.....so hopefully the batteries don't become an issue somehow.

Oh well, I will just have to wait and see. But one thing for sure is that I am not going to be able to have it slip through without paying taxes/duties on it as can happen sometimes when a package isn't reviewed by customs

You never know my friend. My 2 Ti Hoppers and 5 batteries were "sent to Canadian customs for review" for a week!! When they were finally released, I was shocked that I wasn't charged any duty!!

I wonder what will happen to the extra people they hired after they get caught up? If they are getting about 800 orders a month and filling about 2000, once they get caught up.... Maybe they will keep them around for all the warranty claims :uhoh:.

Ghl is still in preorder mode. When they have bigger market saturation (are available at retail stores and more online vendors), I bet sales REALLY jump!

would like a bigger version of the grasshopper that takes larger battery/ies and larger bowl so it can be session vape on low temp and it does not need to be stealthy at all

would basically want something like Crafty/Mighty or Firefly

I must say I was once 1 of the sceptical 1's and it was a bad time being very annoyed at the waiting times and delay after delay but I am now finally a satisfied hopper. I had bought a stainless model to use as a stopgap till my titanium preorder came through but was going to sell the ss to a friend but unless they offer me what I paid from vapefiend (200 uk pounds) then I now intend on keeping both despite finances requiring me to sacrifice it; I really can't bare to sell it as it is a required backup if my dear titanium decides to have any problems. I sincerely hope all those with any doubts hold out as long as it takes. I not lie there are some shortcomings with it but given enough time to use and develop usage patterns and techniques, it is worth the wait and will make its way into most vapers rotation of devices. Basically in a nutshell, in my humble opinion it is SOOO worth the wait. :)

So i payed extra for quicker shipping to well obviously get mine quicker since i need it Wed. Day fucking 8 still nothing and i have sen't two E-mails one last Wed and one yesterday no response, I'm pretty sure the whole point of paying for quicker shipping is QUICKER shipping wtf. I feel i should receive a ----- ---- during a ex-lax taco night dump at this point and a Oz of my choice for 12 months.



I did however have another dream about the Hopper, But it should have been in hand Friday if people after me with the same thing got theirs Saturday. I probably won't get another Hopper even if i really do like it at this point.

They normally ship via USPS first class postage. You are paying to upgrade to USPS priority shipping.

That only helps once the package has been dropped in the mail. An Address confirmation means they are getting ready to ship your order. It doesn't mean they are shipping your order right that second

I just unfortunately found out hours after getting this so called upgrade, They started sending out other peoples SS units that ordered well after me starting last Wed. I E-mailed regarding it that day and i sent another yesterday and nothing.

I posted about this recently, click the arrow next to my name in the quote to see the full post. The short of it is, do not pay for priority shipping, because at this point in time it seems to delay the actual shipment, causing the package to show up later than it would have if you didn't upgrade.

Yeah the reddit information is what i discovered only hours after doing what usually ensures speedy delivery.
Yeah, they're really dropping the ball on this if you ask me. If anything, paying extra for priority shipping through USPS should make it a priority for HL to actually ship your package as soon as possible.

They really are, And yes i could not agree with that more. I have a lot of stuff mail ordered, And that's exactly what the sellers i return to do.


I can't even get a response from Hopper labs, I'm glad Dynavap replied to my upgrade question so quick. I even sent them a E-mail after both E-mails to hopper labs, Yet i awoke to instructions to upgrade my Dynavap order.

Paying for priority didn't slow mine down...


There was a delay with or of the models recently, so that is probably the cause of the slowdown.

This 'fact' may just be a one off case. As @tr33sPlease just mentioned it did not slow him down.

i'm wondering if this is what happened to me then. i had to wait 13 days in between my address confirmation and shipping, but i didn't upgrade to priority. when i finally did get my shipping confirmation, i looked at the invoice and Hopper Labs had already did it for me at no additional cost.

I sent an email to shipping/support last Friday asking if it was possible to upgrade to priority shipping (I'd already replied to the address confirm the previous Monday). Never got a reply to my email. No additional PayPal charge. USPS tracking link says shipment is Priority 2-day, ETA on Friday.

I always got a reply by emailing Caroline.

Aug. 3 '15 pre-order, shipping email received Aug. 3 '16.

1 plain Ti and 3 SS + extra batteries.
I did pay last Tuesday for priority shipping. That's water under the bridge.
My order is set to arrive Friday.

Just looked at tracking and though the order is now in transit (left Boulder Tues a.m. 8/2), it says the shipping label was created on July 28th, last Thursday ?!?!?). Whatever! It's getting here a week ahead of the long awaited beach vacation...

I sent a simple E-mail a week ago and nothing, Then sent another simple E-mail a couple day's ago still nothing to either, So it look's to be a roller coaster of results regarding that and a few other things.
