Discontinued The Persei Vaporizer for herbs and concentrates.

dumb question...i've been using my KISS cart with a Gpen battery for now, but I'm thinking I want to get a W9tech battery now...but I can't seem to find the battery for sale by itself. Is there a 601 threaded battery someone can recommend? I also saw a Omicron HVD battery, which looked tiny...

How can you tell if wax is too taney/under-purged?

I recently picked up some wax from my friend/street dealer. It looked and smelled legit, like dispensary legit. However, when I dabbed it, it had a burning feel in the back of my mouth/going down. This isn't the first wax I've had that felt like this, but I'm wondering why it feels like that...

Cowboy Extracts - Made with non-polar solvents?

So currently what we're dabbing is illegal, no way around it? How is it we've been able to use BHO products and disp could sell them? Recently NCR took down their Weedmaps page, saying some places got raided and patients arrested for concentrates...could that happen to everyone since we're...

Cowboy Extracts - Made with non-polar solvents?

My bad, I thought butune was a polar like alcohol. But this just confirms my suspicions when most of the places couldn't agree on what was used and Cowboy's own site doesn't mention it. It makes me wonder if their claim to have absolutely (one place says 0.000% lol) residual solvents is true. I...

Cowboy Extracts - Made with non-polar solvents?

My roomie went and picked up a new kind of extract artist now available in San Diego. They're called Cowboy Extracts, and supposedly, their claim to fame is that they make wax with non-polar solvents, which leave no residual solvents at all. Here is a pic of what he picked up...

Reclaim Coconut Capsules (Question about Soy lecithin)

I have about 7g of reclaimed wax saved, which I plan to QWISO shortly. (That's just ISO and reclaim, mix, chill for a bit and strain into cheesecloth and evap, right?) But I had a question about using soy lecithin. I seem to recall one recipe about capsules saying to use an equal amount in...

Discontinued The Persei Vaporizer for herbs and concentrates.

@Caligula I should say i've only noticed bitterants in the ones that are marked Rubbing Alcohol and would usually be found in a first aid kid. Sometimes you'll also see an ISO mixed with acetone and other stuff. I've also seen a "Wintergreen" flavor ISO which...I don't get at all, haha. Also...

nah you're good. honestly if it looks pretty dry and it's been over an hour, i'd say it's safe. with my 99%, i can say mine is definitely dry in less than 20 mins. I'm not a scientist but I imagine since ISO evaporates faster than water, then if your cart looked dry, you could safely assume all...

Discontinued The Persei Vaporizer for herbs and concentrates.

TBH I don't know if the bittering agents added have a negative effect but personally I'd rather use the kind that's just ISO and water. The ingredients list should be on the bottle. I don't know what you're cleaning, but for my KISS cart, an hour should be just fine. I put my pieces on a towel...

Also, I should point out that if you buy the ISO kind that is used in first aid kits, like the 70% all the way up to potentially 91%, these usually aren't just ISO and distilled water. Often times they have additional agents added, such as bitterents to discourage kids from drinking it. What you...

If you guys are using 99.9% pure ISO (I get mine from frys) there shouldn't be any concern about residue. using water after using ISO sounds counter-productive to me, since water doesn't evaporate as easily and can leave residue, unlike 99.9% ISO
