I have brown jacket 3000mAh LG's that do not last as well in Zion as the 2500 mAh yellow jackets. I expect they will also not last as long in Milaana, but can't bring myself to break up the Zion set for testing (they are, after all, the second best battery I own for my Zion, after the yellow jackets).

Milaana came just now and oh my god is she pretty :) the intake has the sexy screen, the button sits flush, the bottom is a little weird.. lol looks a little burnt? Like literally there's a burn spot haha but I think it looks cool and it's completely level and smooth, you can't really tell where it is put together. The whole unit just feels super solid and it's honestly smaller than I anticipated. I just woke up so I am grinding up some herbs , gonna take a walk to my appartment office and grab batteries and my charger before I get to baked lol. I'll post pics after a couple of stems!
Cheers!

Mines got a little charr mark too! Same as my friend. Maybe lazer burn?

Enjoy your unit! Excited for your impressions!

No, those cells are manufactured rated from 300 to 500 cycles at most. Afterwards you can expect AT LEAST 25% capacity loss, but some cells will fail before that mark, some will last longer... 300 is less than one year at one charge per day.

The number of cycles is important. Constantly topping them and keeping them near to 100% will lower their life. The best usage scenario would be to charge only up to say 4.1V and discharge only to 3.6V (staying in the 80% to 20% band) but that becomes impractical.

I would say, use them to 3.6V before recharging. Recharge only before you intend to use them. Don't let them sit fully charged or fully depleted for more than a month, but better depleted than charged.

But ultimately, they are cheap. Recycle them in the appropriate bin and don't worry too much, we all can afford to spend $15/year on fresh cells I think, no? :p
Ehhhhhh fukit. I'll just buy more ;)
I'm all about battery longevity, but when it comes to an unregulated device, that's a different story. I'll care for my 2 Zion pairs of batteries very well, as amount of power pulled won't diminish as it does the Mi. (Almost called it the USB...been a while since we've seen that).

Oh well, batts all around!

I think it was AJS that said 2 batteries total would be fine for everyday use. why would you need 4 just to test it?

Because peoples ideas of fine varies widely, some members consume heroic amounts of ganja. I've heard of several users consuming multiple grams a day!

Mines got a little charr mark too! Same as my friend. Maybe lazer burn?

Given the consistent location of the char and the nature of the situation where the bottom cap fell off (when it was on a hot stove). I'd guess the char mark has to do with someone accessing the base using heat after it was glued in place. :2c:

Just so Dab HAppy!
I have been using the Milaana daily all day long since I received her. I have only used the Supreme V3 a handful of times in the past two weeks. The Milaana through water at home and dry on the go has kept me where I wanna be. I go through about 2 grams from the time I leave home in the morning to the time I get back home and then I go through another gram or two at home. All this goes through the Milaana right now. I take 3 batteries with me for day use. Usually I return home with 2 batteries about dead or low and one battery untouched. That 3rd battery usually holds me over through the night, but sometimes I need to pull out a fourth battery. With this in consideration I think you can almost measure the battery life by usage or visa versa. 1 battery is typically going to last me somewhere around 1 gram. Of course, different means and methods will mean different results.

How long have refunds been taking? I requested 7 weeks ago and have only been partially refunded.

The manufacturer took the time to write me a very guilt-trippy personal email for giving my honest opinion here, but sadly could not take the time to see my refund through. I just want to be done here.

Wow guys, she's a keeper! I'm writing this with a big ass :D on my face right now. Used it for the first time. Very little material and probably my weakest stuff to test it out. Very impressive. Wide open draw was hard for me to get used to. I come from the Air, Vapman and Crafty(with oilpad) world and this was a big change. I'm gonna have to work on my technique a bit but I can already tell this is going to a favorite for alot of people. Holy crap, I'm blitzed! Big ups to RBT and family!

I personally got a fc187 because I like the matrix perc and the simplicity of it, also the price compared to the ufo, if I'm going to buy a shower head perc I would rather go American. The matrix is a great Chinese perc for the price IMO. I finally grabbed my batteries, the receptionist took a 2 hour lunch break.. So I only have the experience of using the battery it came with, it was barely charged. Still almost milked up my Ehle.. Really liked that first stem I gotta say. What voltage am I going for when I charge? once I get a full session in I will post opinions and some pics maybe. My unit has a lot of cool wood grain and im pretty sure I got the final product. It's beautiful.
Cheers everyone

Not to get into your business or anything, but I thought you received your Milaana and sold it to @subway13029

Are you waiting on a refund for the Zion then? If so, not that it should matter much but perhaps we should get the mods to move your post into the Zion thread...and perhaps mine as well. I also don't get how you got a partial refund...that would definitely rub salt on a wound for me. Have you tried contacting RBT from the website again lately or have you been patient and let time between. If the latter than perhaps it is good time to try another email. It seems RBT only gets into his computer on Sunday evenings if he does get a chance at all.

4.2 is max. 3.6 is an average good low. Can go even lower.
orders have been placed for Milaana (from RBT), opus 3100 v2.2 charger, and 4 LG HE4's... All have shipped but the former and I cannot wait until that happens!!

Now I'm looking at the FC-UFO or the FC-187... Which do you guys recommend?
I prefer the gb187 to the fc because I trust the manufacturer of the gb187 more. Yingmin5.

Word, I've personally had good luck with Steven so I went with the FC. I think my first D020-D was from yingmin5. Isn't the can a little bigger on the FC? That's what I thought and am hoping. The piece in your videos is the Gb?
And cool thanks that makes sense with the batteries. Mine was barely producing hits and was at 3.51 I believe so cool. I'll let them charge up and hopefully get a good couple stems in here very soon.

I have and really like the stereo matrix from Yingmin......I pair it with a large ashcatcher (gridded disc & turbine disc) and the combination is extremely smooth ....but I can still enjoy decent taste. I've also heard great things about Stevens FC1000 and am thinking of getting one of those too.

I have and enjoy both regularly. Really depends on what you're looking for, but I like the UFO better under the Mi.

The UFO feels better to me because there is less of a drag on it. Plus, with the removable mouthpiece you can orient it whatever way you like which seems to help me with Milaana too, since you have to stay active on the button. With a piece of hose for a mouthpiece it is REALLY easy to monitor your vapor production. And, just something cool about going through water and sitting a few feet away. Well, for me at least.

The novelty of having a hose on this end (instead of vape end like EQ) hasn't really worn off for me, yet. If you're going to use the hose. Get some better silicone tubing that is food grade. Way more than I'll need for this, but picked up this stuff on Amazon and is working great! Plenty of other sizing options on the same link. I chose this because it is thin enough to roll easily and 5/16" mates easily with the glass you get with the UFO. Thin enough to roll easily is nice if you do the @Vape Dr. 's silicone tip trick, and I roll it on a few other uses.

And, I do like the FC-187 under the Mi, too. Just that I like the UFO a little better. Don't think you could go wrong with either.

Nothing personal @GTAVaper , but I wouldn't use either of those pieces with a vape, especially a flavor monster like the Milaana. That is if the GB-186 really gets any benefit in use from the second matrix. I've never hit one, but in vids I've seen it looks like it isn't doing much except looking pretty (and it is!) and functioning like a larger single matrix. I know some like all that diffusion, but I like just enough to cool and add a little moisture to my vapor. Anything else is counterproductive to me.

I actually have the FC-UFO as well as the stereo matrix and the flow through the stereo matrix is far superior to the FC-UFO. The FC-UFO has never been cleaned and still doesn't look like it needs cleaning.

Check out my video's with the Apollo usage....along with the ashcatcher combination.

Even in this setup both the Apollo and Supreme .....which are also both extreme flavour monsters too (I highly doubt that the Milaana or Zion is going to top the Supreme in flavour - at least from IAmKrazy2's reviews but please feel free to correct me on that if I am wrong IAmKrazy2) The Apollo is very close - almost on par with the Supreme in flavour - except just a touch less flavour intensity - although just as nice flavour.

But that is just because the Supreme is the most powerful extractor on the market from what I can see by all the reports. The only thing that might come close or exceed it maybe would be the Sublimator. But then again many people in the Supreme thread prefer it to the Sublimator.

I did find that running the Mighty through a whip and then through my stereo matrix resulted in minimal flavour coming out the other end. I will report on how the Milaana works through the stereo matrix Mobius clone, with and without the additional ashcatcher piece - at least after I've had some time to play with mine since it hasn't reached me yet.

The FC-UFO is great as a whip bubbler - or as an intermediary bubbler that would whip over to a final bubbler. I used to use it this way with a small vortex recycler as the "finishing" bubbler.

But the removable mouthpiece on the FC-UFO is complete crap compared to the mouthpiece of the Yingmin stereo matrix - no comparison at all. The smaller diameter flare at the end is useless for long hauls as you have to purse your lips up much more to get a good seal rather than the much more natural fit with the stereo DHGate Mobius clone.

Although I haven't tried a Milaana yet between the two bubblers......the FC-UFO mouthpiece is a deal breaker for me when it comes to anything but whip use for that piece. What I love about the ashcatcher, stereo matrix combination is that when I draw and fill up both chambers with milk - I can pull the carb (inverted nectar collector - reservoir cap) and get a lung busting hit without going too far and coughing it all out. Or, I could just keep pulling until I'm full and then leave the 2 chambers full for someone else (i.e., whatever lovely ladies I might be entertaining ;) ) to clear in a couple of smaller lungfuls.

But the FC-UFO definitely it is a very unique piece with that whip usage........and also is something easy to pass around while you control things at the other end for whoever is hitting it. I don't regret getting it ......but it doesn't see much use at this time.

Oooops - just got an alert - didn't realize that direct links to some DHGate pieces weren't allowed. Ah well .....not hard to find if you look for them by the descriptions

Sorry if it's not completely Milaana related .....but a video is the best demonstration of how a glass piece works ....the stereo matrix along with the dual disc ashcatcher is just an incredible combination .....and I still get great taste through it.

Hey everyone!
I think people underestimate the power of hemp fibre and how potent the buildup is. I made a video of me vaping JUST the fibre after about 4 days of being in my M2M. It probably had a 1-2G's go through it. So, honestly not that much. Every 4 days or so, you get a free massive sesh. This video is just the first hit, but the hit never started to thin, it only got thicker. I had to pull Mi off because the hit was just too big. I get about 4 hits of these and they're all very dab worthy. You should've seen the aftermath of this video, I definitely felt like I got punched in the lungs. The cloud you exhale will put smokers in awe.

Plus, it keeps your piece INSANELY clean, cutting the need to clean in half or thirds or more. I love it.

I could've held this hit out for another 10 seconds of pure thick vapor if my lungs permitted it. This stuff is not to be taken lightly.

Yeah... the policy is no links to pieces that have fake labels on them. I get it, but most of the pieces that have them aren't even knock offs of any those manufacturers produce. All good and a fair rule, though.

Great vids of both. But again, I'm never looking to put my vapor through that much water or those many bubbles. It knocks taste way back for me. Might not for you, though. Maybe it's just my old tastebuds. For the same reason, you'll never see me using an ashcatcher (unless it's on a J-hook) and definitely not using a UFO or anything else as an "intermediary" bubbler. Too funny! I strive to make my vapor as smooth as possible right from the end of the vaporizor, so not looking to smooth it any further if it is going to cost me much flavor. As little as it is, the UFO and other simpler percs take more flavor than I'd like anyway. But, a worthwhile trade-off for the benefits of bubbling - for me at least.

I use a bubbler for 3 reasons - 1) To cool. 2) To add moisture. 3) To some extant as a way to gather a full hit of the density I want, be able to see it, and inhale it in one easy draw. But, that's just me and what I like. No reason you or anyone else shouldn't have intermediary bubblers serially hooked up all the way around the room if you like.

I kind of get what you're saying about the UFO mouthpiece, but it doesn't really bother me like that. And, is greatly outweighed by the fact you can turn it any way you like. You can easily pick up one with damned near any size or style you like as long as it is 18mm male on the other end. Can't really do that with a fixed MP. I prefer a wide angled funnel type myself (where your lips go inside the flattish funnel), but all good with most. Thinking about having one made for the UFO like this, but will probably cost more than the bubb!

Back to Milaana..... another cool thing is that you can use a removable mouthpiece dry in your Mi as long as the joint is the right size.

Different strokes for different folks and all that. Enjoy whatever you like, but the most diffusion you're likely to see me using with vapor is my D-Cycler - and usually keep it in reserve for dabs. Especially given that the Mi allows for such complete temp control once you get the hang of it. With a little practice on the button and draw speed, I've found you can make it do nearly any type of vapor you're trying to pull without even having to be concerned about set up too much.

@Oogendoogan did you receive any tracking for yours? Or did just kinda show up?
I talked to @charchol and he helped me with letting me know when it probably shipped, which it did lol. On Monday is when I talked to him. No shipping conformations with my order. If you have questions shoot him a pm.

As far as glass goes my American Mobius clone is exactly the same as the one @GTAVaper has in those videos, but with a male joint, which I like because the joint is smaller all the way down which makes for a smaller vapor path. I like this piece a lot for my SSV but when I had a nano it was a little much, it really depends on the size of hit you take and the ammount of percolation you want. With my SSV it is my daily driver. We will see with the Mi. Battery's almost charged :)

Actually its kind of funny......I think that the vortex recycler (CleanClearGlass) is what you've referred to as the D-cycler - at least when I went to look for it.

It has a tire perc then the funnel shaped vortex recycler on top of it and was listed as 8.7" tall in the description and ends with a 14mm male end. This is actually the "finishing" bubbler that I referred to in my prior post. If this is the case, then we almost have the same pieces - except my mobius clone has the extra matrix. It doesn't look like it is doing a lot of work because the route from the first to the second matrix bubbler is very short and the bubbles are smaller and don't stack like they do coming out of the second matrix.....but I believe that it probably provides a little additional cooling with minimal flavour loss.

Since the Milaana is supposed to have very cool vapour.....I may remove the ashcatcher or try the FC-UFO with it. Maybe even just the vortex dabbing recycler from CCC.......it might make for a very nice and compact bedside combination.

I actually contacted Steven - the producer of the FC-UFO - and recommended that they increase the tubing size and flare for the mouthpiece. But I think then it would be easier for him to put a male end (where there is currently a female end) just in order to have a larger diameter tube to fit around the joint and provide a better join to a cupped mouthpiece that surrounds the lips. But so far I haven't seen any change to the model.

It wont help but when I got home today and found the remains of what I had chopped up yesterday sitting in the bowl I couldn't help myself again :freak: embrace that risk
I am amazed at how much effect I got off so little weed :whoa:

Geez, you are not making this any easier...

Does it show shipped on your PayPal?
Although my original invoice dissappeared when the one for the extras was payed and the shipping info was on the new invoice...

I don't have a paypal account, which is why i was riding on your coat tails after you posted that you had received your invoice for extras on the same day as me. It seemed like we paid it the same day too, or possibly a day apart (and i assume we live in the same city) so i assumed that ours would arrive around the same time, which is why i started getting antsy after it hadn't arrived the same day or the following day.

Too early to worry, i know it will arrive, but i am so excited to get my hands on this thing...

A Milaana lovers thoughts...

I fell in love with vaping a couple of years ago after combusting for over 40. It took a while, bit I found my Vape niche. At least I thought so.

With that said, hello unregulated power source and widen open vapor path. Why would you do it any other way? Its not *like* taking a huge hit, it blows away any hit, combustible or not, I've ever taken. With just a little finesse, I'm a superstar. It's that easy. The vape world has changed for good. I'm Vaped right now....

Sorry about that! Yeah, I think he calls it a Vortex Recycler now. Pretty sure it was D-Cycler when I got it. Here's the link just to be sure we're on the same page.

You really should try the Mi straight through the UFO if you haven't yet. The Mi is so damned versatile in what kind of vapor it produces because of how you control heat with the button. It's like a bonus when you want it, but sometimes requires a bit more thought and paying attention when you're stoned! But, going lighter on the button seems to produce the best flavor for me - even if not the most dense clouds. And, the UFO doesn't seem to rob much of the taste if you're going slow and steady with it. The beauty here is that after you get a couple of good lower temp, high flavor hits, all you have to do is give it some more button to clean up what's left of the load and extract all you want out of it - right up to combustion if you so desire!

On an entirely different note.... the colored glass mouthpieces I got from mountainglass (check this post and soon after for more info) came today. Super fast shipping! All 6 of mine (cobalt blue, black, green x2, lake green x2) fit great in the Milaana!! Some have an even shorter joint than my Mi short stem. They are obviously Chinese. Frosting is pretty light, and they aren't super perfect, but nice. My only gripe is that they are all long stems. Stem length varies a little on each, with the shortest of the batch being the same length as my Mi long stem. Guess I'll be perusing the interwebs this weekend to figure out how best to cut them down using what tools I have here. Glad I got a few and they were cheap! Won't mind f'ing one or two up if that's the learning curve.

Anyone had any luck getting another battery off RBT once one was DOA? Or probably not really worth the international shipping I suppose?
