I understand your concerns. Did you received an update e-mail something like 3 weeks ago from Ryan?

The main info was: "We will start shipping Milanna's this week and should be caught up in just a month or two"

That's all, the rest concerns my order.

Thanks for this information. Greatly appreciated. Since he mentioned your order, am I to assume he actually responded to an inquiry on his website? I ask because I have been trying for weeks with no response.

Asked before and may have been answered but I can't for the life of me find it... We're the original preorders PayPal?

Milaana. Lana. LANA. LANAAAA! (TM2/TP80/BAK/FW9)
anyone got a whip adapter up in here???

saw a picture of a metal stem for a zion that was bent so the mouthpiece was at the bottom of the vape.

I'm invisioning a 510 bubbler on a whip, bent so the mouthpiece would be on the bottom, and button on the top.... 510 bubbler may be to restrictive as well.... would love some bubbles without a large hydro tube....

a ss bubbler could be cool as well, some thing small no spill, and no splash, and even with some rubber plugs. done a bit of searching and have never seen one.

Ah I forgot about that! The metal conducted too much heat and got hot to hold though... Maybe something else can be made later on, that was a cool idea. There are a variety of mini bubbler options, I think there is a thread about them.

I am very disappointed for the RBT behavior, we are not talking of a lack of communication but of disrespect. No updates, no contact before shipment, no response to requests on its website. .no nothing only arrogance! yet they are not my inventions but only those things to him! and if a person has changed address? not only he has waited months but practically. ..he never will receive something that HAS ALREADY PAID! I realized that does vaporizers wonderful, but hearing people who continue to justify it still gives me the most trouble (of course all those who have justified has their zion or milaaa in his pocket ...). I ordered all three of its products but I am very sorry to be taken for a ride and definitely will cancel 'something ...RESPECT!
everyone would have the right to be able to communicate the new shipping address, especially if the seller told you I would warn you before shipping. I think now we are off topic here

Can't defend it, but I can tell you he is planning to send an update sometime this weekend, catch up on correspondence, and I believe going forward he will start emailing beforehand (that last one I'm guessing though). Technically he was only saying email before shipment for Zion originally. But yeah you're right he should've done better, but he didn't, and its not the first time, at least he got the damn things made finally and rolling out at a steady rate many at a time. We know he was never good at communication but at least now he's doing a good job at the actual production. The rest will get there, more patience's required clearly, but let's try to see the positives? I knows its not easy though, hang in there man, we are here for you as a support system... You got in at a great price, and will still have one of the first models made, to refund now would be silly imo, unless the early new user reports were so dreadful?

The Extreme elbows are US jointed and can be used as a whip adapter

Now that i think about it, there's probably a logical reason for not sending out international orders yet, like extra paperwork for customs, shipping complexities or whatever.

Getting vapes into the mouths of at least some of us noisily chirping chicklets, especially by 420 for some, is time better spent, in the long run..

So i remain content to wait a little longer.

Just be sure and post pictures you lucky bastards...

Don't forget that some countries' customs will return items that come without special certs that aren't required here in the states. I don't know what the process is of getting those certs, but I can imagine it will slow the international shipping a bit, since the USA orders can all go out immediately. Bummer about the lack of pre-shipment communication; I know he was aching to surprise people for 4/20, but I agree it would have been nice if he'd remember to check that addresses are still current. Has anyone to date actually emailed him with their change of address? That seems like a good way to say that you've covered your bases and tried to inform him, should your order go to an old address.

Just as an FYI, as long as it's clean, paraphernalia sent to the UK is absolutely fine.
Obviously it's better if it's labelled for legal use (which of course is all you're going to use it for right?) :ninja:

Also, not an excuse but similarly just an FYI.

RBT NEVER intended to allow international sales. He did this for FC members for a limited time only out of respect for most of the members (whether you can perceive it or not). I am sure you will see your vapes as soon as possible. He had some issues where a unit that was supposed to end up in Canada went to Germany first. I would rather see him work out the logistics and get it right this time.

I guess I mean that international orders may be slowed for the recipients in countries where importing vapes can be a hassle. So, if you've had problems getting vapes to your doorstep before, yours might take longer.

@MrPeanut
I agree that it's better to have the kinks worked out, but several Canadian orders have previously gotten to their Canadian destination; I can't see why RBT would have to switch up his shipping methods, outside of manual or cert requirements for various countries. He is using UPS, which is pretty equally shitty when compared to other couriers. I have had numerous USPS packages sent from LA county to LA county, that had to traverse most of the US over a week long period before getting to their destination 1hr from the drop off location. There's really not much to be done about human or computer clerical errors; they suck and happen frequently.

I emailed him the second I was alerted (by surprised FC customers) that Milaanas were being shipped out. I told him I'm moving and will need to have my address changed from the current X to the new Y. I believe that was last Tuesday.
Only way I'll know he listened (I don't expect an email) is to see the Milaana at my new address. If that doesn't happen, I imagine contact with him to figure out what to do with my Milaana will be a hassle.
I told him when I'm moving, so maybe he'll make sure it gets here in time. But I'm doubtful.
The surprise shipping was awesome for some, and only spread anxiety for others.

Oh yeah, and it also says not to contact him about changing addresses because he was going to check up on us first about our orders. Once again, technically Zion....but that's only if we're playing off those technicalities. No reason it should ONLY be applied to Zions. People with Milaanas have life events happening too, especially waiting over a month, let alone 6 months like some of you.

I know Ryan is your friend but let's not be silly here!!!
Preordering shouldn't make one feel entitled to takea shit on soomeone.
On that same token Ryan took a LOT of peoples money and feels entitled to ignore them. I'd hardly call someone voicing their opinions without namecalling or profanity "shitting" on anyone either.

He has a problem obligating himself to things and not following through and it pisses people off. Saying you're going to do something (in this case provide tracking and indication youre shipped out!) and then not doing it is a lie no matter what the excuse is. Lying to (or at the very least willfully misleading) your customers is hardly respectful imo. You reap what you sow, the yield on deceit is typically BS.

Not trying to be negative, but certainly trying to wipe your rose colored glasses clean. Mistakes have been made, its not on you to own them (even though RBT won't) but neither is belittling or attempting to justify them.
Many places will still need CE, right?

For the existing orders sake I sure hope you're wrong, getting that cert is a very costly and time consuming process.. There's also ROHS compliance to possibly contend with....

That's the other one I was thinking of. I know these first units were supposed to be sent out regardless; I just think it will likely affect the speed of dissemination, as the hoops to jump through are different for some countries.

Just reporting my experiences but Ryan has always responded to my emails, and sent an address confirmation for Zion, but not Mi.
I think this was because of the 4/20 delivery and the surprise factor.

I say this just to show that he does care about his customers, he is just trying to get product out the door, and in customers hands. He is not a friend of mine, nor do I wear rose colored anything.

In my "perfect world" RBT will bring Stickstones on board to help out with customer service. I know Sticks has smoothed out all the wrinkles for us MV owners in the US.
If you read that thread before Sticks got involved, the complaints are very similar to this thread.

Ahhh what a perfect world it would be!

I also wanted to let y'all know how Mi has been getting along at work.
Although all the "pieces" don't have a home like they do in Zion, my shorty stem fits nice with a spare battery and toothpick in the battery cases that were sent with both Mi & Zi.

I carry Mi in the front pocket of my britches all day with battery inserted. I'm a carpenter and often carry things that rub against my pockets, and I also wear a tool pouch. I haven't had any accidental button pushes in the two work days with Mi.
I think it's safe to say, I won't have any trouble with false firings.

The Mi is almost a perfect work vape for me, only trouble is the lack of regulation.
It's not that I have trouble with technique, it's the fact that I need to be regulated at work! I have a perfect low temp setting established on Zi, that gives a nice uplifting effect.
With Mi I have trouble holding back, I like to lean on the button too much!

This heater when pushed to high temp, is the closest to hitting a joint that I've experienced with vaporizing.
It also has the stoniest (is that a word?) signature that I've experienced.

The thing that gets me about the usa 22mm joint choice is this: if rbt had chosen to go with an iso 28mm joint, then the vaporizers themselves would be at the most 6mm longer. But it would also be impossible to damage the heater by inserting the "wrong" kind of glass joint; it just wouldn't work as well. This seems to me to be a much better choice, all things considered. But I could be missing something here?

Respect is a two way street.
I'm not RBT, just someone who helped on the project. No different than you folks who have contributed to his efforts with dollars, other than I happen to know him personally as well. I'm just tired of seeing him get fragged for not getting his company up and running as fast as we had all hoped. Preordering shouldn't make one feel entitled to takea shit on soomeone.

Cancel your order if you can't stand the wait, feel you've been wronged, think RBT is a big stinky poopyhead, whatever reason, but don't pin it on me please.

These remarks are inflammatory and as a manufacturer's rep you should know better. These are your customers and they are the ones who should be treated with respect and not admonished. If you see a problem, you should hit the report button just as we require the general membership to.
