Hey Guys,

Just wanted to chime in on the 2.0 talk. We are for sure coming out with a full convection vaporizer. It likely wont be out until toward the end of this year (xmas gifts haha) and it wont be the CFX 2.0 it will be called something else. But along the CF line.

We will keep you guys updated once we get closer to the prototyping stage.

Good to hear progress is moving foward on your vape line.
Now I'm ready to order a CF as soon as those temp/"battery" lights work in sink!
Any word if that's possible yet?
If so, will existing units be able to upgrade via a firmware update?

I got mine today and shall see. I see the website states 2 year warranty while my owners manual states 1 year with 90 days on battery.

IIRC I read the battery was covered and after warranty $25 to replace but can not find that part right now.

*Edit (found on website "*Two-year warranty on the product and battery and offer a $25 replacement fee for internal maintenance/replacement after the two years."

Guess they changed it and not updated the book?

Mine seems to have a lot of gas. Ran thru 5 cycles and can taste something still.

The button turns back off if you hold it in after 5 clicks at all it seems so that might be the case Maggie. I just tested mine to try to get it to do the same and did when I hold in the power button after 5 clicks, this is also the way you can shorten the session if you want it shorter than 5 minutes, it states 3 seconds but mine is like 1 second time-wise before it shuts off.

I haven't been very happy with my CFX. Very little vapor even on the hottest setting. And I know others are reporting that the vapor is cool but it feels like it's barely there and I definitely don't feel like I'm getting very medicated. I usually finish with my dynavap.
When I turn it on (5 clicks) it lights up and then off immediately. Then I turn it on again and it goes through the heating process until it gets to the right temp. Is this normal?

Anyway, I don't know why, given the above, but I ordered a CF. My experience with the CF is totally different. Huge clouds on it's mildest temperature. I micro dose and even with a small amount in the bowl it lasted through 4-5 hits.
For those with both the CFX and CF have any of you had this kind of experience?

So as to not double post- someone posted that this has a good warranty. It seems very short to me. What am I missing?

On 4th bowl....plastic taste dissipating but still there...yep.

Did you guys do burn offs on the highest temp? I did this for 3 cycles and never noticed a any plastic tastes.

Did you ever manage to get any clouds?
Not in the CFX. It's not just a lack of clouds but it just doesn't do a good job of medicating. I went back to my Haze - forgot how powerful that is. But then my CF came- lots of clouds with that so that's my current daily.

Is Boundless going to replace your CFX for you?

I'm glad the CF is working out. You should definitely warranty the CFX.

I wrote to Eric and also left a message at the website. Haven't heard back yet but it's too soon for a response.

Cool. I'm sure you'll get taken care of. Ever scrounge up a UD nong? Boundless vapes deliver the thickest water hits I've ever seen (sound like a broken record lol but it's true)

I have a UD nong, how do you use the cfx through water with it?

Hitting CF now. Bowl size huge. Hope to load and go for the day... This thing is hitting like a train right now.

2 questions...

Any way to tell how much battery life is left on CF?

Where can I get replacement parts?

Apparently the lights are supposed to blink which indicates low battery, however the software on the unit is not coded correctly from my understanding so you will have to guess when it's about to go out. They should definitely fix this as this is more than easy to fix for a decent programmer.

As for replacement parts, it's best to contact Boundless as I'm pretty certain once sales start booming you'll see all the accessories available on their website.

As a side question, how does it stack up to your Arizer products so far?

It took me 5 or 6 bowls to fully get rid of the plastic tastes. I did 3 burn offs at 430 but didn't really seem to make a difference. The cfx puts out crazy hard hits for me.

...And let's spark a new flame!
Well, I pulled the trigger on the CF as I patiently wait for the 2.0 convection version.

Always thankful for FC community in helping me make the right decision in buying my vapes! ☺️

Hopefully these will be sold via a UK supplier, im not a Big fan of messing about with Vat/duty and international shipping, the costs spiral too quickly. which is a shame with my birthday coming up next month.
