Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

I have a quick EVO cleaning question, I have just been using the basic air tube since purchasing EVO and now have a fair amount of reclaim which is quite hard to get to. My idea is to block it with silicone bungs (I see vapefiend sell some), fill partly with 96% Spirytus (I think it's very similar to everclear - not 100% sure) shake / soak until clean and then pour out liquid into container and evaporate till alcohol gone. Then use what is left with the glass nail. I have read silicone will not react with the alcohol as obviously I wouldn't want that. Does this sound feasible?

Hey Evo Fans, so who's watching VapeXhale's podcast tonight in about 4 hours besides me? Hoping it's going to be very informative.

Hoping they make it available just to watch on their YouTube channel after the fact. As that's around 2am here and I'm working

Sure they will, let us know how it goes
From what I've seen with other live podcasts this is usually the way it works. I'm hoping so because I missed the first 10 mins.

Hey guys quick question which of the two is the better option or difference as far as diffusion between the HydraHoneycomb or Hydrabomb?

Thanks!

Yup, I would go bomb too, although it's all I have in HT offerings I also have a few nice honeycomb Percs in other pieces. While the diffusion is good, I gotta agree, matrix is where it's at for diffusion. Can attest that flavour is also not too shabby on the hydrabomb considering the amount of bubbles flying around :science:

On another note, anyone have any experience with dry sift in this thing?

I've been busy prepping for the post turkey slouch, gonna be tough to hold off, but it got made now,or it got made never. Now is always better than never

Namaste :peace:

I would also say the Bomb, I have no experience with either but I have a honeycomb in a piece and matrices in a piece and the latter diffuses more for me personally.

+1 for the tree though, I love mine

Yeah I say bomb too, even though I like my inline to honeycomb can, less than my GB-187 matrix, for the hydratubes it seems like the bomb would be the best for smooth pull, and you balance diffusion and taste.

But +2 Evolver HydraTree!! (me and HWS have the 2.0 though) now that is a versatile tube, great balance of flavor/diffusion you control

Anyone have experience with the swagger double? I've been eyeing one. How's the diffusion and flavor?

...3 day old evo..spinning bamboo.
...that really SUCKS

FYI, I returned a used EVO with a spinning bamboo which they tried to repair, but the fix lasted about 5 minutes. So, at the start of this past Sept., they agreed to send me a "new" unit. I wonder if they gave you my old one. The serial number of the old one was "EVO105XX".

Is yours similar?

Sure hope not!

Best,
Jim

^ I know we had statements saying they were not doing that, but can't lie my interest is piqued. Even if they did send out refurbished ones, chances the guy above got your old one seem slim. But, still, looking forward to see what that guy says. Hopefully they don't match :)

I'm knocking wood, my EVO is a beast and works just like day 1. Actually going to get her loaded up right now, some face melting high temp loads. Sucks to see all the QC or factory type of defects. I must have just lucked out in that sense.

Funny though, I must just have good luck or have lucky serial number 12xxx. My unit is fine and works great, no problems. I have a Mighty, and I tend to attribute a lot of the problems that vape has to user misuse....but my Mighty is also SN 12xxx and I've yet encountered a problem with it in the 7 months I've owned it. Seems like the batches right after me started having more QC issues as well. Maybe it's just my lucky number  Going to have to get a lottery ticket and bet some multiple of 12k, it seems to do me right!!

You might be onto something with the 12xxx serial numbers. It would be interesting to see some of the serial numbers that are having trouble.

The first one I received with the off-spec bamboo and defective switch was SN 137xx and the one VXL sent to replace it was 138xx. The 138xx unit did fit more of the ELBs than the 137xx unit, but there were enough ELBs that didn't fit that I'm not convinced it is totally to spec either.

My Thanksgiving special EVO is perfect, I hate having to keep pointing it out. Yet it is.

Back to actually talking about the vape. I found a quartz VXnail and tested it out. I did find the flavor to stay smoother and I was impressed with the ability to vape the dab at a lower temp. It also cools off faster, burns off cleaner, and because of all this I think its worth the extra money. For me it was a better experience than the glass. I am looking forward to testing it at a high temp.

So how does one watch this please????

They took the video down after it was over but they just re-uploaded it to their channel 6 hours ago. For anyone that's still interested, here it is:

i missed it, what was it about?
any link to it now?

It was pretty interesting, It basically went over the basics of vaping, health benefits, financial benefits, ABV benefits and so on. They also hit on various temperatures and how they bring out the different Cannabinoids. There was also discussion about Terpenes and even a 3rd marijuana species called Cannabis Ruderalis (which in addition to indica and sativa I totally forgot about over the years) which originated in Russia but has a very low THC count.

Much more was discussed though. I ended up missing the first 10 minutes and watched about another 30 mins or so more but didn't finish because I left it on pause and my Chromebook's battery died. When I logged back into YT it said the video was private. Now the video has been uploaded I'm going to check out what I missed. I really dug what I've seen so far though! :)

Hey guys.
No..the serial numbers are differant between mine & JIMDEE's..
The combo deal was like 375 for the unit and tube.
The tube would grind and would try to stick on the joint...even from a straight drop on..no twist whatsoever...
They determined it was out of spec...so they sent a new one.
It was 3 days old and used 2wice...
..I actually used it sparingly to kind of break it in so this wouldn't happen...it would make cracking sounds after use but I was sure it was just settling....not the case...the bamboo now spins freely.
The worst part is this happened about 10 minutes before fedex was at my door w/ the replacement tube!.
So now I have to mail back 2 tube and a unit.
...I understand shit happens..and things break and whatnot...but I did not read the recent posts about the evo issues until after the fact....and I'm paying for it dearly.
I have a butt load of other vapes but once youv gotten the full experience of the evo it hard to go backwards..it's that good..imo.
But,..it seems rushed now..and attention to detail is totally absent.
I did get another evo..immediately..from a retailer Iv used & trusted which will be here tomorrow...barring fedex doesn't take a shit.
I wasn't about to wait on backorder..and honestly,..after reading up on it here..I'm sure a "new" unit from vapeXhale would only cause me to pussy foot around the device out of fear of issues arising.
The unit I'm getting is w/ the old mouthpiece...I guess its been on the shelf a year?..
It's just weird to have to buy a unit from amother retailer besides the actual maker out of fear of defect.
I could only afford a unit tho...I have a swagger side tree on hand so..should be good to go.
I in no way want to publicly bash vapeXhale..I adore they're product..when it works.
