Cheap High Quality Bubbler

I'm seeing the D020-d listed as a favorite update to the most recommended bub for the Solo (D020). I am liking this and wondering if Kathy's or SSS is the preferred one.

Sunshinestore is the most trusted seller here; best customer service, best packaging, etc. I'd get it there.

I've ordered a DO20. But there are so many different types of water equipment that the whole topic is confusing. What's the difference between one with a percolator or arms or recycler or oil rig etc. Is there an article somewhere that explains these different types and the strengths of different ones?

Yeah me too, New to all this diffusion, percing, recycling etc. Long thread but I'm waiting on D020 too.
I use to own close to 5k in scientific american glass with some worked sections on it. I sold it cause life took me in a different direction. I stumbled upon this thread and had to order a d020 and d022. Now i cant stop ordering all the models SSS has. Cool thing is my cheapest american piece was 300$. I got like 6 models for less than 300. Also I owned the real mobius bubbler (the one the d020 is modeled after) and it hits I would say equally as nice, stacks full can with barely any pull, and also with smoke.

If your in the habit of taking massive rips like .2 or .3, which I doubt many users here are considering its fuckcombustion, then I would recomend a full sized american gridded tube. Other wise these are more then sufficient and the price of the d020 is insane. An american 18/18 with a dome alone could run 40$, no free piece included.

I was just making sure someone didn't miss the ones not on aqualabs! But of course all the new pieces are beautiful! I really like the new pendant stem connectors too. The sandblasting of mobius is so subtle and perfect, love the style.

Completely agree here, smoking flowers there is a noticeable difference between scientific tubes from china and america (primarily that most chinese aren't gridded, and man does this make a difference smoking flowers in larger amounts like you said, when I had my downline kingstem sov, I had people from US and Canada saying it was easily the smoothest tube they've ever pulled from and I couldn't disagree, it worked great. It dissapoints me to see that you paid >300 for each of your tubes, my sov kingstem was only 300 at the LHS, so either your LHS has a huge markup, or a few mistakes were made haha/ GAS got the hand of you

Please keep this in concept thread as not to clutter this one/promote support in the other. However I agree and the binary matrix is very easily replicable as I mentioned to @blankrider earlier, it is simply a split matrix perc which allows it to be much easily replicated (china uses moulds for their production) and placed on flat discs with a hole in the center, and this formation allows for much easier placement on the worker's part, could even lead to a sov/jm flow ball perc on top (avoiding our clone controversy/avoidance), but I digress and this should be left for the concept thread.

Lol. My cheapest pipe was 300. I had a piece that retailed for over 2k.

Ha I don't doubt it man, GAS is trouble haha, personal limit on a piece now is at most 400, although I haven't bought or been searching in months now.

haha you won't be dissapointed, solidly one of my best US purchases. I'd still have mine if it weren't for a vacuum accident that had me pacing around madly for nearly an hour lol. Worst part is I only moved it out of the safe zone to vacuum and forgot to put it back there, I'll live my sov dreams through you @grdwaste hah, personally i ended up grabbing a double micro hex-13 to make up for my heartbreak and also because I found myself dabbing more/ more dropdown compatible. But still the sov was the smoothest vape experience I've had. Honestly I could go on in a review thread on my experience with it over a few years, but I won't have pics to share

Should be amazing bro, I'm excited for you now. Wish we could sesh but Canada is a baron land haha. The joint is so dope and yes reinforced, I had a high af girl pull the bowl out so quick and it hit the joint of the bowl on the sov joint and the bowl broke (a b wilson of all bowls) and there was no mark on the sov whatsoever, when it broke the only weak points were the main can and the neck which are obvious, the rest stayed intact. I hope u got some vapexnails if u have oils where youre at as I hear those are great too, but yea you'll be loving that combination and probably just jump this thread for a few months all together.
Two different strategies for vaping I use for it are either stacking the can with fat vapor milk (use more water with this strat) then pulling it all which is great (the diffusion from the gridded bubble stack is nice). The other way is just using it as you would a normal water pipe with stacking it (water just over the perc or a bit more, test it out yourself, less so than in the prior method) and getting a nice smooth constant pull from it, just filling your can and then pulling your vape out when it's at your desired stackage level haha. But really man you won't be dissapointed in that girl, a solid daily driver beast that most china copies can't compete with because of no grids/even inline, and the downgrid choice is prime; water tested both types in store and even the store rep who had water tested pieces from every type (really good HS- Hi Times London Ontario, althouhg they kick you out every 15min for their "lunch break" haha) both agreed the downgrid is superior. And don't forget to throw some ice in there for good times once in a while! Gamechanger there. Second strat is definitely what I'd do for a vapexnail as you want that flavor

@grdwaste that stem is a great smoking piece but I always preferred up facing slits. It seems to clear better. Down facing always left a little bit of smoke after the bubble stack settled down. Either way a great buy

It does do this a little bit but you get used to a sort of double mini clear over time. I'd take the pull of the downgrid over upgrid any day though, upgrid is just so airy it isn't enjoyable ime.

I just ordered the 18mm Dabbacinno rig from Stevenlmz79. It came in at $29.10 which is a bargain imo.

http://www.dhgate.com/myaccount/ord...rfxproductid=ff8080814a9b02f3014ab8eadc9e73d1

I also noticed that Steven is not selling any nails either (ceramic or titanium) so I asked him about that as well. I need to get some decent nails

All from Kathy I've gotten;
3 bangers - 10, 14 & 18mm
1 domeless Ti nail - fits 10 & 14mm
2 regular Ti Nails - 14mm

The 2 regular nails were gifted to friends, as I've already got a Dab'n'Flo adjustable nail. I didn't use them but my mates said they worked fine.

The Domeless Ti nail is fine, I found myself needing to use something as a carb cap to stop myself losing some vapor.
It is very "grabby". After every single dab, the nail will cool off enough that it grabs the joint its on and is impossible to remove. The only way to get it off is to heat it up to red hot, then remove it with a pair of pliers (not to use force, just as a tool to let me manipulate the red hot nail, I've found scissors can do a pretty good job here too :)).

The bangers are pretty nice, they're all I've used to dab since I got them.

I've also got 2 of those Silika style sidearm nails coming (14/18 Male & 14/18 Female) from SSS, so they should be fun to play with once they come :)

Do you know if Kathy has male bangers in 18, been looking and can't find....really want one but it's for 18mm and the reason I want one is to reduce glass, don't want to add another adapter or I'll just stick with what I have.
