He has the base that was designed for blowing bags I believe @Mister G

@paytonpenn I think it is the hookah adapter you speak of, as Mister G said. Definitely worth a try. Fwiw, try hitting it between 55-60v with boost. I've found that to be my personal sweet spot. Happy vaping!!

Edit: I'd love to see the Infinity in the bag vape form. I think it has great potential.

Hmm. Your base looks different from mine, it has the hose adapter nipple? Mine doesn't have that.
Yes, I asked to have my Versa designed for bags, as I didn't find boost to be useful since I could probably just up the temp or move the screen.

My base is the nippled air base 'NAB', and my Infinity is not a boost unit so boost doesn't work very well but I can still do it but its nowhere near as effective as what I've seen from all of your Infinities.

For $200 I didn't even get a chance to vape once with my "G1". Chris if you're reading this, could I please have an Infinity controller box that works so I can finally try it out?

I'm posting in the Infinity thread because I didn't get a response from the email I sent, or my posting in the G1 thread. And because the G1 doesn't exist, I was sent an Infinity anyways so here I am in the Infinity thread, where Chris was last heard from as well (versa forum).

No response on the fact that I sent the first box back either.
Do you want the second one you sent me back as well?
Is this how you treat customers when the gear you sell doesn't work, by just ignoring them?

What did I ever do to you Chris to be treated like this? I never badmouthed you, you sent me defective gear, and evidently you don't give a crap now since the paypal deadline is passed.

To sum up: you sold me a G1, but sent me an Infinity because the G1 never existed. The substandard box you sent with this infinity didn't get hot enough, so you sent me another box that immediately failed. Now I'm up the creek because you are exactly who FC said you were.

This was another opportunity for you to step up, and prove that you're not a criminal.

But I guess FC knew who you were all along, even though you tried to hide from your own damaged name and reputation. Now I've got a brand new glass vaporizer with a whole bunch of accessories that that will never vaporize anything because you couldn't get a working controller box together.

The obvious solution would be to send me an infinity controller box, because as far as I can tell there is no G1 box that works (just like there is no G1). But that would be from a functional company, which evidently versa is not because I can't even get a reply at this point.

I thought mine didn't work but I just had to turn it further (like over half way), you should just forget about the analog dial, its hard enough getting it where you want with the digital.

Is this supposed to be helpful?
All I have is an analog box that doesn't work at all.

No cords to plug it into the wall or Versa; or when you connect to the Versa it just doesn't work? Did you choose the analog over digital, I too was meant to get a G1 and even waited but still ended up getting the MK2. I didn't ask for a digital box and would have been fine with the analog. I'm not a fan of the screen, for my digital it doesn't turn on until its about 3 fourths of the way turned, and then it skips through numbers like crazy. I couldn't imagine the accuracy of analog box, also the highest voltage keeps changing.

My main point was that if you communicate with Chris again, and he does decide to send you what you need, go digital if possible. I would've loved to test the analog but when they upgrade you to their supposedly 100 dollar more model why complain.

Our infinity's controller box only turns on when you turn the dial more than halfway, but as I understand, yours won't work at any position. Hopefully Chris doesn't bail on the project and sends you a working controller box.

I paid for a G1, which evidently didn't really exist so he sent me an infinity with an analog controller box. I was never given the opportunity to upgrade to the digital box.

That first analog controller box didn't get the infinity hot enough to vape with, so I sent it back and he sent me an "overclocked" box that failed the first time I tried to use it (last week). Neither box would "turn on" until it was halfway up or so, there was no click for on/off.

I sent versa an email a week ago tomorrow with my concerns, through a previously used channel and have not heard back.

As far as I know:
When you send money for a product, and all you get in return is a fundamentally different product that doesn't even work, then you have been the victim of a crime.

I was hoping that this would be made right with the second box but that hasn't worked out either.

So far this has been my worst vape purchase ever, and there have been some real stinkers!
:shit:

The best way to get in contact with him is by PMing him on their forums, that's where I've been communicating with him at. He seems to respond at around the evenings.

In all honestly I wasn't even sure I was going to see my Infinity its been delayed so much.

AFAIK, all of the controller boxes work like this. There is no click to turn on and the display lights and starts heating the infinity at about the 12'oclock or 1 pm position on the dial.

@grokit
I might still report this to Paypal. There may be contingency plans for sales that are delayed past their deadlines. Seems there would be some grace when a vendor sends incorrect or malfunctioning parts.
Good luck!

Thanks. I would rather work it out with chris, but I've reached out to him in a variety of ways already and he doesn't seem interested. So I'll probably give their dispute process a shot if I don't hear back soon.

Yes, that's how mine works. I have been using even lower voltages during the day for a nice peppy high. It seems to do low temp vaping fairly well too. It really is a shame that customer service has been so spotty. I really do like the vape. In my opinion, it works really well after a few tweaks. I meant to ask @paytonpenn , does your Infinity have the new style heater?

Madcap79,
What a fiasco. I'm sure we can expect a typical Chris response pretty soon. He will explain how he is actually the victim and he will have a bagful of excuses and promises.
At the end of the day this is a man who lied to this entire community. He has denied his own identity repeatedly and even when confronted with proof still tried to lie. Maybe he should develop a pyramid scheme or start selling snake oil.

Just an update to my situation, chris finally responded and he is sending out a proper infinity controller. So props for that, I just wish he had responded before I went off and lost my manners lol.

Also BIG props for the community here:
@Madcap79 offered to lend me his controller box, but I didn't want to take responsibility for it in case my issue wasn't with the box (didn't want to fry his).
And @gosaints420 sent me his box as he had no use for it. So I paid him for shipping, he is sending the extension cable as well because I had cut into mine in an aborted (for now) attempt to hack it.

I will compare the boxes and see if there is any difference, and if not I will make the extra box available to the community in case a need like this comes up again.

45-70v with boost is alright, no combustion, its definitely not as milky as what you guys get and I'm not using the flower bowl, my bowl has right in front of the herb. I much prefer the 90v range without boost.

Really hoping Chris sent out a pump with the concentrate adapter really looking forward to bag testing and fan assist.

@grokit

Just trying to help ease the frustration. Haha. I have plenty of vapes to occupy me and I do think this vape is worth trying, especially since you paid for it. I do hope you find it to be a pretty darn good unit. Hope you enjoy! Thanks for the shout out!

I am finally able to use bags with my Versa, the pump is here. Let me start off by saying, its not that great of a pump. But it is just your run of the mill pump you'd find at Petsmart. If I knew he was going to send me this model I would've just bought it locally instead of bothering him to send me one.

He mentioned he was designing his own pump should provide a quicker speed, the TOPFIN he sent me takes 2 minutes or so to fill a bag. For beta testing purposes that's fine. But I may be searching for a stronger pump eventually depending on how long it takes him to develop his. Hoping his pump design is more appealing to the eyes as well, minimal parts.

So far I've done 4 bowls and have blown 15 bags. My first two bowls were about .05 around what I'd load in my Hammer. The first bowl had only 2 bags with decent vapor; the first bowl at 60v, the second bowl at 90v (it also produced two good bags). The ABV came out very even and brown not very dark. I couldn't vape it darker for some reason. The third bowl was at 90v until the 3rd bag when I increased it to 101v, it had little vapor. The forth bowl was 2 bags at 114v and I am pretty sure with under .1g you're just going to get two good bags unless you go to lower temperatures. The 3rd and 4th bags were closer to .1g.

I was worried that the bags touching the Infinity body would melt but that hasn't been the case, even at 116v, though they are only touching the rim of the Infinity. I am using bit of thin silicone tubing on the whip adapter to properly mate the Herbalizer Squeezevalve, it works well, you can just leave the bag there it will just sit on the desk and blow up straight no need to hold or watch it. But I'm not sure if it will popup consistently so one may want to make sure they pull it off.

So far I am pleased and interested in further testing with a faster pump and bigger load sizes.
