Yeah they are!! Perfect size silicone and you can cut along the taper to fit various things. I get a handful for free whenever I go to the vape shop to try juices. Every vaper needs a bag of 10 of these in their kit!

Edit: as per the utility belt  it's a measuring cup with a bit of foam at the bottom. The utility belt is a bag that sits inside with the top inverted. Nice place to set my Solo down and not worry about it falling over. The foam at the bottom is so that the glass doesn't chip the bottom plastic plate where the screws are ;)

Ive got a bunch of that mat you are using too! Its left over from when I did my cabinets. That's a god idea. Now that I think about it, I have some silicone(ish) type stuff too. I need to start looking into surface coverings. I bet theres some cool shit out there.

You know I'm high when I type out a complete thought process.

I bought a roll of it and only used that section. There's a small silicone pad to set my glass on as well. About $5 at Walmart? I could just cut out sections from the roll and do the same. Only problem is ABV crumbs and such fall through. Lift it up and it's a graveyard of material. At least it's easy to clean it up.

Ive really regretted selling my solo for quite some time now. I loved the portability of the pax but there is just nothing as satisfying as the SOLO, vapor output/taste wise. Especially now that the newer models let you use them while its plugged in. Those 134.00 BIN prices on EBAY arent making it any easier either!

The buzzer on my solo went out, i kind of like it now, but it was a surprise. I thought it was dead for a minute or two.
The short timer is my only complaint with the solo. I'm the type that takes a hit and puts it down for a few minutes, i'm constantly reheating the solo and end up with only a few sessions off a battery charge.
I'm adjusting to it, but it's still a challenge. I need to get a car charger, that should help.

Oooh, buddy. Got you guys a video brewin'. Quality lighting this time around, and quality hits as well. All is visible in the video. Forgive me for the 100% fucked audio. I suppose photobooth isn't the best filming program -- now I know. It's delayed, and I say some stuff. The delay causes some strange sounds and my voice to show up at odd times. Enjoy. Nice streams of vapor from start to finish. I'm unbelievably baked right now. In the words of the great Cheech Marin, "this is some heavy stuff, man!".

(Will edit this post in 15'ish minutes with the video. Wanted to give you all time to get your popcorn ready.)

Hey all, first post so thank you to everyone who has posted in this thread. I Love the Solo in ways only you folk here would understand, and this site contributed more than most to my selection.

Sadly, my unit has developed a problem or two, and I figured it might be useful to post the details here. Maybe I'll find help, maybe it'll help others - I think Zow237 on page 909 has a similar issue.

Firstly - After a month of use, today the blue idle light is flickering at around 10-20 Hz (the unit is off, was fine the night before). If I try to switch it on, the blue light flashes a few times in the normal way (i.e. while both buttons are held down), flashes the 7 LED once, then returns to flickering.

If plugged in to the charger (unplugged from the wall) the flickering slows down, but the unit behaves in the same way.

If plugged into charger (plugged into the wall), the lights flash according to a repeated pattern - single blue flash, single 7 flash, gap.

Secondly (and less seriously), there's something not right with the plastic base, opposite the charging socket, to the left of the serial number. This section has been flaking away slowly since I got the device. The pattern is similar to when plastic has become very brittle owing to age/UV exposure, though my guess would be a failure in the moulding process (I say this because when a piece flakes away, it kinda looks like there are voids/flow patterns in the plastic which are aligned with the damage).

My Solo's serial number is M1D2XXXXXX, should this be of help. I'd love it if someone knows a fix for this, but am resigned to organising an exchange. I've put these details to Arizer via their website also, in case there's a bug of some kind.

Cheers, peace, etc.

So cool!

I like the size of your bubbler!

I ordered the D020 is that different?

Yours looks larger?

Bubbler speaking!

I will use my NANO until I get the GonG from @Stu.
Tuesday I broke a GonG plus I broke a new FRIT that I sent in for repair.
One of my ASH COLLECTORS has broken GonG bits in the FEMALE adapter.
I will try to remove it this morning or toss it?

It's a full time job medicating!

The next set of GonG's I'll order the PHVES style. 18mm and 14mm.
I bought a roll of it and only used that section. There's a small silicone pad to set my glass on as well. About $5 at Walmart? I could just cut out sections from the roll and do the same. POST a LINK!

My M1D2 is the unit I changed out the battery pack.
It's fine now.
I fixed it myself.
I bought this one from AMAZON without a valid warranty.
MURPHY'S LAW!
If Arizer will fix it let them!

You have a PAX over a SOLO?
I don't get it?

Thanks for the reply, exit. The plastic issue seems to affect only 10% or so of the base, the rest of the plastic seems fine, so could just be a bad mould. I only really mentioned it in case others were seeing it too, and we could nip a nascent problem in the... ah... bud.

The main issue is a battery problem you say? So it might be terminal? Sorry, I seem to be full of puns today, probably a defence mechanism against the deep sadness enveloping me. Man, fuck combustion (he says, searching for his recently furloughed bong).

after a back and forth email with Kevin from Arizer i am really debating whether its worth it or not to send my Solo for repair??? I was told i would have to pre-pay $30.00 for return shipping (i didn't even pay that much for PV to send it to me new) and also pay to ship it to Arizer, which for me is international since they are in canada and i'm in the US.. so i am guess international shipping to Canada will be at least $20.00 probably more plus the $30.00 thats at least $50.00 if not more. they even requested i send priority to them so i am sure that is even more $$$$. My solo works... it's just a weird light pattern and the blue light is dead. i just can't decide if its worth spending almost half of what a new one would cost me???

I have derived what I believe to be the solution from the body of your text.

Think of your Solo as having a custom, aftermarket lighting setup. In fact, I'm jealous.

The last issue I fix it myself.

In your case if you can afford it just get the newest version.

With reference to my post above (22921), I've parcelled my defective Solo up and sent it for an exchange. In the meantime, I shall smoke bongs and marvel at their comparative filthiness.

I miss it already.
