Why am I telling you this? Because cannabis is proven to aid in neurological disorders derived from the Vegas system in you head. This is why I set out to try and treat appropriately using cannabis therapy to try and cut down on or hold off and more pills. I'm a fighter, and between the Herbie and evo I now have been afforded to make my odds better.

I got three beautiful kids counting on my fight....

and I'm not about to let them down.

Resonant - I do know a lot about vaping, shit, I'm practically a master. I am always available by PM to help you too. Feel free to reach out anytime you feel your not getting the answers your looking for. I can't guarantee I'll always have an answer - but I promise to fucking try as hard as I can!

:peace:

Dude I am very humbled by your post. Thanks for the offer to help. It sounds like we are about the same age (I'm 40 in July) and are family men. My 2 boys need me to get real about my TBI everyday, because I am sure they are tired of the agitation, confusion, and then eventual irritation and anger that result from the pain and symptoms.

Thank you so much again, and I will be sure to reach out!!!

I'm biting my tongue on a review just yet...but so far

I'm biting my tongue as well...

My Limited Edition clam included a request that any concerns or issues be presented to the Herbalizer team prior to bringing them up publicly. I've respected that request, but they haven't lived up to their end of the bargain yet. I sent the email on Monday and have still not received a response to my (rather long) list of concerns.

Hello? Anybody there?

Interesting...I had no such request.

I must be special then, because my clam included a piece of heavy, tan colored paper (in the same plastic as the warranty) that starts off with "We Stand Behind the Herbalizer" and goes on to request:

"If you have any question or anything does not seem right, LET US KNOW FIRST and we will quickly make it right."

It continues on to say: "You are the most valuable part of our business"... "We are on this journey together"

I did not add the emphasis, it was already on the note. Two days after sending my questions I was told they were forwarded to Josh. That was 3 days ago and the silence is getting rather loud. Out of my 12 comments and questions, at least 1/3 seemed pretty simple to me.

I'm not feeling very valuable, nor am I feeling very "together" on any journey. I respected their request to contact them first, but I won't be waiting much longer.

Mine must have fallen out or something. I would cut them a bit of slack...they may be overwhelmed being a new venture and all. It was good of you to contact them first though.

I too am a survivor of TBI.
My coma lasted 5.5 weeks, 10 years ago, and it is still somewhat of a struggle.
For writings and info about TBI, Goole "Vitolo Rossini/TBI"
I write under the assumed name "Rossini"... perhaps there will be some information that can be of use to you.

I will certainly look that up, Vitolo. I have had my injury for many years, and have simply been in denial about the symptoms and patterns. I shudder to think I was surviving without even pain relief for so long. Its been a really shitty journey to get here, but I am glad to be alive, and glad to meet other fellow travelers.

I consider myself very lucky to be alive, and as functional as I am. I have it better than most with TBI, and that is not lost on me. God bless you all.

Mine must have fallen out or something. I would cut them a bit of slack...they may be overwhelmed being a new venture and all. It was good of you to contact them first though.

I went down to the office to get mine, and everyone was very friendly. But truthfully, they also looked exhausted and overwhelmed. Even by the good things are a challenge in their new business. They didn't even have anywhere to put my cash payment!!!

Honestly, its amazing they are as together as they are... they are launching Spaceships for us!!!

Edit: meaning I agree with Tweek!!

EDIT:
I see the tan paper now.
This is a very common phrase in any business that sells a great product that they stand behind!
They are saying that if there is an issue, you need not complain about your purchase through Paypal, or Credit Card dispute that many people feel protected by... they are saying that you do not have to use any of these buyer safegaurds... that they are here for you the buyer.. directly.

I have to say I am experiencing something similar. I reported an issue two days ago and was told Josh and Bob are busy with mfg. In the back of my mind I am thinking, mfg is for new customer but I am already a customer. Shouldn't existing customers with an issue get priority over manufacturing new product?

I am not complaining, I understand this is common practice and can be patient. It is not a major issue, but still would think they would want to jump right on customer issues with such a limited release. I was even asking how to buy a 2nd unit just prior to reporting this issue but probably not now.

I have had zero issues...
I had a secret fear... that my Test unit, because it was prototypical was likely going to be a harder working and tougher unit.
My fear has been not only laid to rest, but has been banned from my psyche.
I join you lazylathe in celebrating zero issues.
I can only assign my unexpected findings the word "traits", because none are deserving of the term "issues".
My wife says that now that I have settled in to 390 as a favorite vaping temperature, she no longer smells the meds so strongly.
(and out of courtesy, I only do my 445 "1 hit wonder" sessions when she is asleep or gone)

@jds32 - I respect your wishing to honor their request (a lot of people wouldn't do that or just ignore it, so cheers for being a good bloke!), but I don't read that as an NDA.
:)

But, I guess waiting for an official reply is perhaps a good thing? Too often I've seen a user report an "issue" and the whole Sky-is-Falling-EVERBODY-PANIC!!!-group jumps on the bandwagon proclaiming the product a failure and the company a group of charlatans. I don't know why people do that, when if they just wait and work things out, there is normally a rational/simple explanation.

That being said, I would like to engage in a discussion on what you (or others) perceive to be faults or errors with this device. But I'm also content to wait until you feel comfortable in your disclosure.

If they are busy with mfg, most likely they are not even in the office. I know they're both swamped right now.

I also know they will get back to you. It sometimes takes more time than you'd expect. But they will get back to you.

Cheers.

Salutations Weedemon,

...currently uses about 300 watts right? ...if it could be made portable then I'd be a very happy fellow.

The Venus runs on portable power but its halogen bulb rating is ten times lower so this makes me wonder if such huge power difference wouldn't actually mean there's an additional layer separating the whole air/cannabic path from the air surrounding Herbalizer's bulb. My impression is that their halogen bulb may be installed inside an airtight glass sleeve to prevent contact with oils, for example. But of course i could be wrong about this as i've never seen inside its heater assembly... So, good snaphots would help here i guess.

I have to agree with Nigel. Sometimes in business you have to sit back and see what's really going on before you jump out with answers. I assume Josh reads this thread every night, and I think that the next day he's at the drawing board figuring out the next step.

Or possibly, again like Nigel said, he may be stuck on the production line to get his next batch out. From what I've seen there were NO corners cut here. I know they're going to stand behind their product so I would hang back a bit.

JDS, you do have every right to bring things to the table here. I mean shit, I would love to know what you've found...

Maybe I or someone else here could help?

It's doing more damage to the company as a whole by complaining that your about to lose it because you haven't had a response. Trust me when I tell you, I'm the same way - when something is on my mind it will eat away at me. I'm a Jew for fuck sake, we were built to complain!

But I promise, were all here to help - reach out to any one of us.

Don't worry bro (or sis), we're on this journey with you too.

I would assume that any updates would be software updates or perhaps a different model in the future.

I have had zero issues with mine so far and it has been used and abused for the past week and has not skipped a beat!

Hopefully Herbie never has to leave my desk!

Yeah, actually its pretty scary how quickly the Herbie jumped into my routine. I haven't smoked or even touched another of my portable vapes since I got this. It seems unthinkable.

Now you have me thinking too hard about it. LOL Is Herbie so good that its bad???

@jds32
If they are busy with mfg, most likely they are not even in the office. I know they're both swamped right now.

As a local, I can attest that the office is downtown, and has a couch. The lab is up-county, and is very clean, cold, and has science-nerds in it. They are building Herbie's with the aid of nano-bots, and deep space angels who breath frost onto cannabis buds at night.

HERBIE STRIKES AGAIN!!!!!!

I think i have found my favourite method of vaping with Herbie!
Load a 1/2 full bowl of meds
Sprinkle some hash/crystals over the top and close the bowl.
Set Herbie to 190/374 and enjoy the ride!!

So medicated and i could not even finish the bowl…:spliff:
I started at 190 and managed to go up to 200!
Wow, i think i am in love!:luv:

I know I am posting a lot, but man I can just so relate to this. I keep getting so fried off this thing, I gotta get off the "intense" setting. Anyone wanna encourage me down into the lower temps?

As a recent smoker, this shit-hot, oily smooth, vapor-rocket-fuel-citrus-ambrosia available in the "intense" section is soooooooo appealing. I know its mental, but "uplifting" and "balanced" sound intimidatingly not "intense" ROFL.

This vape is so badass, I am giggling out loud!

There's no rule about too many posts, it is so awesome that you have no idea how lucky you are.

When I got into vaping I started with a Vapir 5.0. Let me repeat, the Vapir fucking 5.0. It started the load tasting like popcorn.

You are breaking into vaporization with fucking Herbie. You might as well have learned to drive with a Ferrari lol.

I'm so proud your coming out of your shell here among the vapor nerds. And as far as getting away from smoking I could only say this my friend...

It's only gonna keep getting better!

Keep reading, you've come up with some good stuff. It's nice having an extra meaningful contributor.

On another note, has anyone tried using Herbie as a bronchial dialator? I could have sworn I saw something about vicks vapor pads being used?

Think of it this way, it is just one bowl!!
Set Herbie to 374 or 190 C, the first hit will be a bit whisky but the next one is flavour city!!!
And it continues from there…
Once the vapour gets whisky bump it up by 10 to 15 degrees C and hit it again
Continue doing this until you reach the Max Intense temp!

You have now successfully worked your way through the most delicious bowl you have ever had!

C'mon, just try it once.
I dare you...

the first hit will be a bit whisky

I know limited release bourbon-barrel conditioned craft beer is hip now. But you are Whisky-barrel aging your herb now?

Damn hipsters.

:p
Yeah... I know you most likely meant "wispy."

Reminds me of a looooong time ago when I figured cognac would make for a perfectly good substitute for water in a water tool. IIRC it was rather tasty, but not as much as I would have though. Wonder what a drop or two of like a single malt might do on some herb? Everything else we tried in the Herbalizer was delicious. (eg, zero-cal-vaped chocholate-chip cookies) Probably boil quickly.

Hmmmm.... I'm off to google "Spirits and terpene pairings"....

My issue is not that big of a deal. The part my bowl sits on (above the heater) is now off center and spins around freely. Some parts of that area are exposed that should not be and unfortunately some yellowish/amber tape (or film??) about 1/2 inch long is showing. If I am not careful it wrinkles up, sticks up, and can get caught between the plastic on the removable bowl and the plastic that is molded around the screen - above the heater on the main body. It is **not** affecting performance, I just need to be careful and not spin the bowl while it is magnetized to the base.

I share the same fear as others being my only fear is having to live without Herbie. It has completely changed my routine in a very positive way. Anyway, just wanted people to know that my "issue" it is not a big deal and should not keep anyone from buying. I am sure they will get back to me soon.

Since posting here, I've been very wary of coming down with VAS.

But I think when I get the Herbalizer, I'll have the best portable and the best desktop, so why bother?

Going up against the Herbie is the "final boss" of the vaping world, and there's no where to go beyond that. :)

Ahh.. Thanks for sharing @nigel! That is what is looks like. Makes me feel better know it can withstand 400 C being so close to heater. But then, I never really questioned there was a safety issue knowing what I know about the Herbalizer crew. No corners cut, ever. Still dreading the RMA, no way I am going a day without Herbie!!! :goon:
