Hmmmmm so its finally charged, but when I turned it on and set to 7 to burn off potential residue, it went from 0-7 in about 10 secs. That can't be right?

you can always sticky your pinky in there and tell if its hot, however if it is you will have a cooked pinky, DO NOT ACTUALLY STICK YOUR FINGER IN THE HEATER, JUST FEEL IF IT IS HOT.

I can smell the heat. I just let it cool right down again. It still said fully charged at 7 when I turned back on. Then turned to 7 and it went from 0-7 in about as many seconds. The lights lit up one after another all quick like.

When you are pulling from the tube is there alot of resistance with little bubbles? Could be a water level issue. A video would help
I am only conjecturing based on prior posts with vapor density theories. But if I were to stay on the same track, I'd reason that while you're not getting all of the more visible (larger particle) vapor, you are still getting plenty of the smaller particle less-visible vapor. I would not argue against the potential for PNWT diffusion to appreciably lighten the vapor load by way of retention, so perhaps yes, you are getting less overall vaporized product, IDK. What I do know, subjectively, is that the effect is stronger for me when using the PNWT.

Guys, after having solved the common "blinking light show" by simply changing the socket everytime it happens(and it does every now and the...), today when i turn it on the blue idle light simply doesnt show anymore!! Should i be worried, or maybe its just another simple minor display issue?!

I'm not saying that it's non functional by any means, and I do get visible vapor... just not as much as with the stock stems. I can assure you there is no clog or anything of the sort and water level is a non issue unless I'm filtering out stuff by having more water in there than I should?

um PV told me M1D1 is newest and to try and use solo with charger...and it appears to work as PA now too.

Its cool to see arizer making improvements after the solo has been out for so long. I much prefer they do this than come up with something new thats not as good of a base design as the solo. Maybe next they will find a better way to have the stem/bowl connection, something more secure. That and include screens and this would be the perfect badass portable vap.
EDIT: Like a slight notch in the stem that a sliding metal lever could match with to lock it in.

Very interesting, but it doesn't square. The charger doesn't have enough raw power to cover the heater....unless they changed chargers? Perhaps they have changed the way charging works so it can charge as you use the battery (like a cell phone would)? It charges (when off) normally?
Does the bottom still say '12VDC charge', '9VDC operate'? How does this impact existing PAs?

Yes it still says 9v and 12v. I have no clue how it works or how it affects existing PAs.

Same here. My number 5 LED always shows a slight flicker whenever it is illuminated, whether by charging or during use. It's done this since I bought it new. It doesn't seem to affect the operation any.
Mine is an M1A4.

It would stand to reason, not that it matters in most cases, that if arizer did make this improvement they would have to include a warning in the box to not use old charges or PA's I would think. At the very least to say that if you use an old PA or charger it will not perform the same as the one that comes with it. I hope this is true but I am suspecious. It is sad that arizer doesn't announce any changes, at least they haven't in the past.
Arizer has just renewed it's market potential with an upgrade!Damn it... this is both good news and bad news. Bad news because I just bought my Solo and I dont have this capability.

Alright guys here are my observations after about a week with my "defective" M1C1 unit:
The first time I turned the unit on it heated up to heat level 7 very fast so I decided to time it ... took 37 seconds from cold. After a few "burn in" cycles I loaded up a stem brought the unit up to heat level 5 ... no visible vapor whatsoever no matter what draw method I used so I brought the unit up to level 7. At level 7 I was getting light wispy clouds (no matter my draw technique) and the ABV was coming out light tan.
I haven't had a chance to send the unit in to the seller this week and I kept reading people like OF saying that this was probably inexperienced vapers (which I am not) getting the hang of their devices so I have been trying to use it every night and I have been getting the same results all week.
Last night when heating the unit up to try it out again (was about to send unit in Friday and wanted to test it up until then) I noticed the unit was taking a looong time to heat up. I decided to time the heat up time and it is now taking 1:13 to reach heat level 7 and I am able to get nice hits on all heat levels and dark ABV on heat level 7.
Seems like a lot of others have been noting the same issues with units acquired recently so my advice (for what it's worth) is if you have a unit that you think is defective (heating up too quickly and never reaching temps high enough to vape) try running your unit on level 7 through several battery charges and see if you need to "break in" your unit ... can't hurt
