I guess you guys are right, here are the original video's and they're still pretty gung ho:

But look in the second video, he kind of hits it for less than a second before he puts his lungs into it. It looks like at a reasonable working level of water you get bubbles in the showerhead and the turbine is just an air diffuser, which should be good for flavor but when you clear it you get the sweet turbine show. Or maybe you can hit it pretty fast and get the turbine working while your hitting it :brow:

I also find this oddly suspicious, and have been concerned about this from the start. I'm worried the turbines only "fire" when clearing the tube, and not when hitting at a more reasonable pace. Every clip shown has been at nearly lung busting velocities...

Given the turbine, glass protrusions, and opal marbles on the early bird HTs, which I personally find ugly and out of place, I'm actually really happy I saved my money. I know I'm in the minority here, but I think it needs stating. That is not to say a more traditional glasshead, not as concerned with functionality, would not find this piece very appealing.

The turbines don't fire at slow speeds but that's not unique to the turbine in our HydraTube, that's just part of having a turbine. Here is a video of the turbine in action.

One of the things I invested in, in the Indiegogo campaign, wasn't on the list of "perks" offered. And really it should have been, it should have said "And you get the Monkey KING of bad-ass, to design your vape, and make sure you feel like a vapor god when using it."

You see, when I dropped my $1k, I invested it in the people of VapeXhale, not the things. I completely trust StoneMonkey to take care of me, and have from the start . . . :peace:

I'm totally on the same cloud as you, in the same boat. It's not things that matter, ultimately, but people.

I respectfully disagree! :worms:
I'm someone who cares very much about functionality. I believe that this design will be VERY functional...for VAPOR, and the EVO in particular. They altered the original design of the HT specifically because it didn't FUNCTION as SM and VXL wanted. Needles to say, I trust Stonemonkey and the VXL team, and Swagger, and...am I missing anyone? :science::evil::borg::mmmm::nope:

Well only the Early Bird level will have those on it. /
What about fanatic?

This is the only clue I've found so far...
A variation of the one in this video will be the $500 perk SwaggerTube. The Fanatic level tube is gonna be a few degrees crazier ;)

These are gonna be so sick!!!

but WHY kill the surprise? Especially since we have no influence on it at this point. VXL already said that the only customization we get to choose is the mouthpiece style, the rest is a VXL/Swagger collabo intended to please the piss out of us!

A rumor leaked! The Fanatic bent neck will actually be a worked caterpillar like in Alice From The Wizard of Looking Glass!!! With a Harry Potter backscratcher wand for us less fortunate...

So far I haven't seen anything "a few degrees crazier" on the fanatic tube. Double perc isn't anything unique, and the worked section on the hydrotube doesn't even look like nice colors that they used. Again, I'm sure an actual picture of the tube not a "how close can I get while moving the camera constantly"-video would help show it better though.

I own three turbine tubes, two Hitman and one Jhanpixel, and they turbine the air and water on most pulls at most rates - only really slow pulls don't do that in the Hitman tubes. They're what I use 90% of the time, and the only reason I went with the Early Bird.

I find it to be a soothing noise that let's me know my Cloud is working properly...:)

Whether you have great hearing or not, how you react to the ticking is entirely dependent on how you react to different sounds. What sooths one person may drive another up a wall...ymmv...

I get green at about 9 minutes (unless in an overly cold room) I also have a clicker which does in fact have a comforting electronic heartbeat sound. Ahhhhh! I get all mushy just thinking about it!

To tell the truth...I'm going to miss that old ticking noise once I have my greedy hands on a new EVO, but as long as my old ticker keeps ticking, I plan to bring it out once in awhile to enjoy the sounds that I associate with pain relief, great sleep and a lot of pleasure.

Still works like the first day I got it...I wonder how many actual working models are left? It would be fun to be able to put a number to it.

It should bring a big smile to your face.:)

Let us know what you think after a few sessions. The learning curve is about zero with the Cloud. Soft pulls...hard pulls...doesn't matter. It will do what you ask of it.

Almost there...
Mine tries to tick :( but then it goes into christmas mode :( I really wish there was a way to connect that wire somehow.

Try and find someone who has a spot welder that can work on small items.
A laser welder would be even better if you could locate one.

Maybe try a jeweler that manufactures custom work?

What i would do is this:
Get a metal strip welded to the wire that is loose and then spot weld or laser weld that metal strip to the ceramic heater. No solder joints to melt then!
