I see that ,
Did you see the guy in the vid inhale from the bottom end to take a hit ?
How would that work in the Solo inserted ?
Wouldn't the oils drip thru the opening ?
The straight stems you can scrape with a screwdriver or stick and break it up and shake it out . For the bent you can fill it with iso and put your fingers on each side and shake, then evaporate off the iso in a dish. Once you have the oil you can roll it in abv to make a type of hash or just sandwich it in weed i find you get big clouds with oil and the solo.

OK, I have iso..and my PV turbo stem is filled with resin...so I just put Iso+resin mixture in a bowl and wait for Iso to evaporate or u use some other technique

Second, I was able to insert the stem and use the Solo. Freaking fantastic!
Yeah i filled the bent stem 3/4 full with iso and shoke for a minute then dumped in a dish and did it again. I was in a rush so i had the dish in a hot water bath outside to speed it up, once there's no more liquid and no alcohol smell its good.
But if its a straight stem you can always just jab a skewer in it to breakup the oil then shake it out in paper towel, that would be faster but not as effecient

I've never had that happen, but I recall another fellow posting about debris collecting around the heater. He even posted a photo of it IIRC. I suggest a first step is to pull the cap off and shake/blow as much bud dust as possible out of the heater and below/around it.

Don't forget mesh. There's a huge difference between coarse and extra fine. PV sells a nice assortment:

The best size seems dependent of bud and grind. I don't think you really need a lot of them. When I foul one up enough to matter I pull it out and 'flame it'. They're SS and tough. Hold them by one side and heat them with your torch lighter until the glow on one side. The switch the clip or tweezers (at last a use for old Roach Clips....) and nuke the other side. You can then brush or even blow the ash off and put them back. They cool very fast, it's quick and easy to do, and you can get dozens of cleanings out of each screen this way.

PV has Solo screens in various mesh sizes .
In fact , they send one with the PVHES and Gong adapters when you purchase them .
I like using the NO2 top hat screens also , but I have to admit , the PV screens are much better . imo
You can also just trim down any 0.5 screens to fit .
If you order from PV , ask them to sell you a few of these Omicron tips for better/easier draw .

That is one really beautiful bubbler, and perfect size!!! If you want, try leaving the GonG on the bubbler while pulling the Solo body away for clearing. It will clear easily. Of course, you will need to remove the o-ring if used. This will preclude the pack from cooking between takes, and just allow 15 seconds to heat when replaced. I use settings 4-7 with water. Works well for me! ENJOY!!!Got a new bubbler today, thought I would get some Solo action with it documented
The small can is great for the Solo, really flavourful...and Colie Glass turns out some real nice stuff...

I have some sad news though, it looks as though Colie Glass may be closing down
He still has pieces on his website though, but I spoke to him via email earlier and he said he doesn't want to do it anymore for personal reasons. So we shall see what the future holds...

Off the top of my head if you snip the bottom off a VXC ELB you have get snug Solo mesh screen.

I seem to recall something like that, but not having one I didn't pay too much attention. You can easily 'dome' flat screens up (like on the back of a Sharpie pen). I like 5/8 inch for this (smaller dome), some guys use 3/4 for more dome, lower volume.
I still think mesh size is the first thing to decide.
