Looks like the shipment is still in transit from what Vapedandconfused said.
That's what the rep I talked to told me but, we all know what a great handle the DV employees have had on their info in the past.

Agreed. The DV employee I just spoke to was a joke (no offense DV).
He started the call with "let me get your name, I'll see if it shipped out, we got some, I have to make sure we shipped yours". Gave him my name, waited on hold, came back and asked for my order number.
Gave him my order number, waited on hold, guy came back saying the shipment still had not arrived. At this point I was very confused.
The guy started the call with "we got some, I have to make sure it's shipped" and ended with "we're still waiting for the stock to arrive". When I asked if it was more than one shipment he seemed frustrated and said no, we're still waiting on this one.
At this point the call went in a circle, I wanted to understand why he said "we got some in", and he said visit facebook to see our updates....
The reps frustration could have been avoided if he didnt mislead and say they "got some in" at the start of the call, I was not trying to bother him, I was simply trying to understand why on earth he didnt just say "All preorders are still in transit".
It doesnt even make logical sense to take my name or order number if everyone's Ascent is still stuck in transit.

Oh well if that wasnt enough the rep sends me an email just now saying the Ascents are in warehouse in stock and will be shipped out by latest Wednesday. Can't tell if this is just another excuse to delay again

Guess stuff still hasn't gotten out of "clearing stage" yet?
Once they are out of customs hands, the shipping company should get them out fairly quickly to DV.
But, two things to note: 1) I don't believe the warehouse and the offices are in the same place, and 2) that some of the parts (manuals, etc) are already in the US, which means some assembly of final kits will be required, before items can be sent out for final delivery.
EDIT: just saw @theCerberus post. So, I guess they did finally get out of clearing stage. And the shipping on Wednesday falls in line with having to assemble the final boxes.

If you look at DVs Facebook post, they say that shipment is enroute to their warehouse. On fuckcombustion, they mentioned of an update by today. This leads me to believe that the packages are being sorted as we talk and probably should go out sometime this week.

Or maybe they need to restrict use of their product by phone reps during working hours.
Normally we'd jump for joy at news that Ascents are in stock...we've clearly grown more cautious over the months...I'll wait until our own FC rep gives us the word before I start celebrating.

I've got to say I'm disappointed in DV. They finally start to respond on Facebook and on FC, and after saying they are going to update us friday or monday "at the latest" and now its monday night and has dv posted a update on facebook? NO. Have they said anything on fc? Once again NO. I want this vape, BAD. But " a few months before it is available to the general public" thats not ok with me. I DEMAND answers. With all the confusion coming from dv when different answers are coming from different reps that that is not ok with me and does not fly in my book. I expect a DEFINITIVE answer by weeks end, otherwise I will look for a new vape.

Nothing like signing up for pre-registration in the very beginning, getting confirmation of this, then about a half dozen e-mails, all only about their other products. Then, watching them open pre-sales to anyone while hearing nothing. (Of course, that worked out well). Now, taking more orders, while still yet no contact ........ ? What a fiasco!
