^^^ Well what are you doing posting! Time to re-up! ^^^

Thanks for the post Ataxian!
I'm still planning on getting a Jet waterpipe and bong mount for my SOLO
and no doubt will also source a GonG for my VAPO 2.0.

Found myself looking for an oil rig, left with this neat thingy
And here's a pic of the top of the wood stem i made early in the day. (this is the big ass hole)

Hey soloman, care to elaborate? What is that thing? Found the manufacturers website but it is shocking.. Links that don't lead anywhere and no real information.. other than 'flame powered vaporizer'

edit: nevermind I spotted a video. What benefits are there to using that over a stock stem? I guess its cool to keep loaded in your pocket without the need for travel tubes

mod note: Please do not quote more than necessary. Pictures removed.

"OF" the POWER ADAPTER is one of the beat accessories I have bought.
I can't really thank you enough!

My SOLO is like a desktop with this thing.

As far as I'm concerned you are the expert in this area!

Sure you can, you already have thanked me several times (how long have you had this memory problem?......what memory problem?). You're welcome, glad to do it.

You're absolutely right. Somehow I think it changes your attitude? The bowl is no bigger, or hotter or in anyway really different that I can see but the experience is different somehow. It seems competitive with desktop vapes, something portables don't always do well.....which is cool.

I think the PA that Pipes is producing is going to be a game changer, an overused but in this case I think appropriate term. And a couple of other guys are still working on their version of the idea.......although sometimes there's a big old gap between 'look at this' and 'come and get 'em'. More options for the customer is a good thing, IMO. We'll see what and when they come to market. But In Pipe We Trust. He's a known face. I've got a Beta unit on the way, I've every reason to think he's about to repeat his T1 PA. He knows how to get quality units in boxes and handle customer problems.....for which there's no good substitute, IMO. A proven source.

This will expand your options so you can go charge or go PA both in the car (boat, RV, camping, whatever) and at home (with the mains supply).

As to that 'the expert' part, I think you got me confused for two other fellows.....

Thanks

It's for oil. There's a vent tube built into the vial part and a hole in the top that scavenges the vapor up the stem which does a fair job of cooling.

IMO a fun gadget, but one I grew tired of due to the trouble controlling heat. This may be the solution there? In practice you fill the vials, and cap them, and then swap them out on the stem when they're exhausted, using the cap from the next to seal it up again. Neat.

I do not have a PA for the SOLO yet (on the way) but PA's usually let the heater run more consistently than a battery. I use a PA for the MFLB and it works wonders so Im hoping the same for my SOLO

Edit: Some just PMed me about "cloud stick" Im not sure if this help you any but here it is:

I know there are mixed opnions on the Eds wooden stem for this thing. I tried one yesterday and I think I like the stem a lot. It seems to cool the vapor quite nicely. It might be my imagination but I think it pulls a bit better than the stock stem too.

My buddy's Solo is acting funny. Has anyone seen the lights act up like this (double lights 5/1, 6/2, 7/3)?
FWIW it's an M106

Stu, that is a new one. Did you try the reset?
Kat, the wood stem does pull easier because it is a turbo type, no holes just one big bored hole.
Thanks for the heads up on the gong I don't need I ordered this one and I hope it is correct...PVHEGonG High Efficiency GonG Code: PVHEGonG14

What is the best way to store reclaim...I was thinking a small glass jar would be best with a wide mouth but I don't have any. Would that be the correct assumption.

I used to keep it in a sticky puddle on some parchment paper inside of a small jar, I would fold up the edges of the paper some and was very careful not to tip the jar over when I had it stored away

Does anyone use the stealth adaptor and whip setup? I was planning on buying a GonG and was wondering if I should get the stealth and tubing too

I don't know what a sticky puddle is as I can't even say I am new to concentrates I am not even born yet. Also I am sure it is very hard to get off the parchment paper and I was trying to avoid stuff that would stress me. If reclaim wills stress me then in the garbage that beautiful oily stem and bottle of oily iso will go.

Thanks for the answer clouded

Bow I added all the sizes except the first two of tubing to my order just 3 feet each as they come in handy and are of great quality to me. They are high temp to 500 degrees and soft so easy to work with.

The tubing will be used with a lot of different things. I don't have a stealth adapter because to me it is silly but a lot of people like it. I can doohicky any stem to go in a cup so I never saw the purpose of the skinny top just to put a stripped straw on. I bought glass straws to drink with a while back to use to attach to my solo and INH and I like them so much I bring them with me on the rare occasion I go to a restaurant. I don't see the big deal of a glass straw sticking out of a cup. Take a look at the McDonalds cup on PV and see how they have it hooked up and decide from there if you need it.

EDIT: I didn't even buy the tubing which I believe was the second size that fits on the stealth adapter as it is useless to me for any of my setups. It is really small. I bought from 1/4" and up.

No , not like that .
Does it still work , heat up and charge ?
How old is it ? ( under warranty still )
It could be just the circuitry acting up ....

edit ;
hey mm , same questions for you .
