I know the contest was over but I can always use more pieces for my portfolio so I made this up real quick.

Cloudy...
I have to admit that I didn't like the name and I think that don't fit really well, but it's not a problem for me. I always called my cloud "vapexhale" and will continue to call this the same

Am I the only one that actually likes the name? "Nimbus" on the other hand was a name that I didn't really care for.... Go figure. To each his own I guess. In any case I think there is little doubt that this SOB will kick some serious ass no matter what it's called.

I also weigh in as not liking the name. Would much prefer Cloud 2.0 or some of the other options tossed around. An eagle does fly and soar but it's also a national symbol (if it's bald), a carnivorous bird and a local sports franchise name if you're from Pennsylvania. Other than the soaring/flying aspect it seems to me it has little to do with a vaporizer and the impact of vaping as compared to "Cloud". I can live with it of course but it's not something I will enjoy saying and will probably continue to call it the Cloud.

This is awesome! Honestly, it is a name that we kicked around for a long time (if you guys are wondering what happened to all the vaporizer names, blame the e-cig companies who can start a company and have an ecig rebranded for $1000 and squatted on virtually every cloud type and names that we wanted to use) and has a lot of symbolic meaning for us. While I am aware that our government has done some nefarious things, I am super proud to be an American. My family moved here with barely anything and were given opportunities to succeed that they didn't have in our homeland.

The Eagle represents the "American Dream" and that is why we turned down every single investor that said that they could build this thing in China for a fraction of the cost. I want America to continue to innovate, to continue to create great jobs, and to continue to do good things. We might not represent America as a whole, but I know that everyone at VapeXhale is a stand up person that likes to do right by their fellow human.

The Eagle is also one of the few birds that can soar into AND above the Clouds. Hopefully with some time, you guys will learn to love the name the same way we have.

As an ending statement, and I hope this doesn't come off as overly hippyish, but while I consider myself a proud American, I am more proud to just be an Earthling. My experience with our international customers and all of the folks that contributed to our campaign, I truly look at things globally now. In the past, we may have been separate nations, but with the internet connecting everyone, I feel that we are all ONE and it is just a matter of time when we refer to each other as "Earthlings" versus Americans, Japanese, German, African, Australian, or whatever.... thanks again for all the support!

Hmm I was gonna suggest Vapexhale Apex -- having a mountain logo with the tip just pointing over some clouds.

But I see that it's Eagle for sure and that's fine. There could be some sweet eagle engravings on the limited edition glass!

Img140414_eagle_main.jpg

Or an engraving more symbol-like such as:

stock-vector-vector-illustration-of-coat-of-arms-bird-medieval-eagle-of-my-own-design-31584175.jpg

stock-vector-powerful-eagle-or-griffin-in-heraldic-style-such-logo-jpeg-version-also-available-in-gallery-105469547.jpg

Etc.

I'm sure they have some great plans for it and their graphic designers definitely don't suck judging from the current VXL logo, web site, and etc.

I see no problem with going with Cloud 2.0. One of the reason's my first vaporizer was the Extreme Q 4.0 was because of the 4.0. In a world of ever evolving technologies, to me 4.0 sounds like they are on there 4th revision of improving their product, which shows a sign that the company cares. Someone used "Apple" as an example. If you look at there successful business design, they didn't rename the iPhone, we have the iPhone 3, 4s, 5.

The problem here is that there is no such thing as the Extreme Q 4.0. It's just the Extreme Q. Somebody here decided to call it the 4.0 and it stuck. Arizer has never used version numbers. The situation is even worse with the Solo, with people referring to the M107 and M1B and such, all made up by FC members. I was involved with the software industry for many years, and there have been a few occasions when sleazy companies have taken advantage of customer naivety by assigning completely false version numbers.

Just because the reaction here has been mostly negative is no reason to assume the market in general will care one way or the other. Most potential customers outside of FC will never even know about the name controversy.

So, SM, can you extend the crowd source $ goal?
Indiegogo told us that companies that get to 100% goal typically at least double their goal so we are trying to raise as much as we possibly can because there are some important future products that could use some extra r&d dollars to bring it to reality. If everyone can keep spreading the good word, I know we can get to at least 3X our goal!

Yes . . . let the spirit flow . . . we can achieve anything we envision together. I am going to do my best to use my Eagle here . . . ;)

I was wondering if you could put up a picture of the hydratube!
Me and my friends and i think a couple of fc members are fairly interested to see haha.

Hey everyone!

So I was wondering if the cloud can be used in the car with a 400w coleman power inverter. it also says 800w peak output, whatever that means. On the front it says 110~120v AC. It has two 3-prong plugs on the front with a power switch.

Unfrotunately I got banished from vaping in my apartment with my girlfriend, so now I am forced to vape in my car or at a friends.:shrug: (^)(#$)*$)#%(*#)(@*)@

Will this power inverter work? for surge protection, would I just connect a surge protected power strip to the inverter ,and then connect the cloud to the surge strip?

Let me know if anyone has tried this :) THANKS
