Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Here is a vid to demonstrating just how fast it will change. The light may be green but that doesn't mean the cloud is up to vaping temperature.

Is that Cloud Plus ticking a little? I'm confused why it's changing to green so fast...that seems off, especially in relation to what Newvapor420 said...but if it works, great!

Does anyone know how to tell the difference between a cloud and a cloud plus? I would rather find out before I send it in so I know what I have. The last thing I want is them trying to sell me something I already have. I find it odd they won't tell me how to tell the difference but instead want me to just send it on in and they'll tell me which it is.

Curious if you found out? If you have a Cloud Plus (which I think you do) I just don't understand how VXL could be asking for $150. You have a TWO YEAR warranty, and the $150 would be for a third IIRC? Something isn't adding up here.

Holy shit! :o

Tdub yhat thing must have cost a fortune! BEAUTIFUL!

Idiocy prevails at the damdest times...

Friends are using the original ticker-Cloud, and dumping ground herbs on the table. I never thought "what if someone were to put the Cloud down on a pile of pre-ground and hit it. However it took me an anxious 3 minutes trying to figure out why the cloud suddenly got smokey and had herb coming out of the bottom with an intact elb. It also gave me a little tip to share about cleaning internals.

Last time, I (COMPLETELY AT MY OWN RISK) plugged the Cloud's GonG, filled the glass with iso & salt, plugged the other end with my gloved thumb and rotated the unit between upside-down & right-side-up slowly (NO SHAKING). It took forever, and it was just removing some migrating reclaim that was getting too low in the bamboo.

This time I took an empty liter of iso, bored a hole and attached tubing. This allowed me to dump a half liter of iso-salt slush through the Cloud repeatedly (and in reverse).

It worked very well.

Both times I let it soak with plain iso first.

I would only recommend this to those who use the Cloud enough that the inside of the GonG joint has repeatedly needed to be cleaned (and is now spreading enough to be detected by taste), or those who have had an accident that dirtied the inside of the Cloud (AT YOUR OWN RISK).

It was amazing how noticeable the difference was both times.

The Cloud is king for power and even/constant distribution of heat to the herbs.

Parting second tip: if interested in oils and other concentrates, a great way is to grind them with the herbs until the herbs are coated particles. Fill smaller elbs to prevent leakage. Pow! Right to the kisser! :D

Enjoy the clouds (and the Clouds that make your clouds), and be nice to the clods who make the Clouds that make you make your clouds. :p

.

That ticking is my camera trying to keep focus.

I'm not going to concern myself too much with it. As you said, it works, and that's all that matters.

I walked into a headshop yesterday while out of town on business. Although the staff working there had little to no knowledge about vaporization I found it interesting that they all have heard of the cloud and when I mentioned having one I was almost looked at in awe. They were so interested in hearing about my experience with this device they have seen online at the cup yet they have NEVER heard of our forum.

The reason I point this out is because we are such a small portion of VXC's business that were fucking lucky to have them stay here on FC. Everyone is welcome here and the rules aren't too hard to adhere to. It's a privilege to be able to talk shop with manufacturers and I hope we don't fuck up our relationship with these guy's.

They didn't join here to use the site as a marketing tool - take a look at SM55's signature - he's been around a while! He's one of uS! We all took part in the development of the cloud- take a chill -for fuck sake, were potheads - aren't we supposed to be the friendly crowd?

Welcome new members - enjoy the forum, all I am saying is before we comment negatively take some time a read what this forum is truly about....were fucking weed nerds!

Well I'm glad to know that I do in fact have the cloud plus so I'll be sending it in for some repairs. Mine is SN 2600 and I guess I was just one of the unlucky few that ended up with it not working. I will be glad when I get a proper working one from everything I've read on all these pages from all of you.

Hello peoples ,

I m coming from a Volcano, I have opened it up to clean it and all them plastic tubes inside dont look fun. I m looking for a vaporizer that isnt harsh on the throat as well something that I can hit , put down, work on some music then get back to hitting again!

I own a solo, volcano, cera and a nasty old gpen with a modded cart.

Im looking to switch my home vape from the Valcano to the cloud ....Recommended?

Anyone can give me a quick comparison.

I live in Canada where is the best place to order?

I personally wouldn't purchase from anyone other than direct from VX (at the moment), due to recent manufacturing issues, unless you are prepared to possibly use their warranty service. Furthermore, if you purchase from VX they are being hand made and I suspect these won't last long (until they mass produce again). These hand mades may become collector's items :)

I owned a volcano previously and now have a herbal aire, cloud, vapolution, persei etc..

I feel confident in saying that as far as vapor production, taste & effect the cloud wins hands down IMO.

Close to a month now since I dropped $450 that I really didn't have, got to use the Cloud for six days and then fried. Now it's sitting at their refurb center for who knows how long. I hope my hardships are not shared with anyone else on the forums.

Thats a really good point bro - it would be an awesome idea if they release like a limited edition cloud with SM's signature on it.

Alright guys; take2!!! I just got the box for my CloudPlus :) Feeling positive and going to let 'er rip a bit later this evening. Will post back of course.

In depth review if your thought aren't too cloudy!! You may be the first person on FC to get the house made cloud plus. If anything, at least let us know If she can fog up your glass efficiently and gets hot enough for you.

Ooo, which HT did you pair it with?

One thing I would like to know is how the ELBs fit in your Cloud+. I've seen reports of stock ELBs being too loose in the Cloud+. I wonder if the I.D. of the male joint has increased for the Cloud+?

TGIF everyone. I just read the last few pages and I thought it was appropriate for me to interject my 2 cents. First of all, there would be no VXL if not for this forum, we will never forget that. We participate in these forums because Troi, Slightly Medicated, myself, etc etc were all forum members long before the Cloud was even an idea in my brain. We don't feel like we are obligated to be here, nor do we think that the forum should feel privileged for having us participate.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, we're just a bunch of guys, no different than you with the one exception that we also build vapes. Between sales, marketing, operations, and manufacturing, we chime in when we can but at this stage of the game, the forum is no longer something that we can put so much of our focus on but we are definitely not disappearing.

While the company has been successful in certain areas, like many startups, we've been operating on slim margins and doing whatever is necessary to keep the company afloat. I still work a full time job if that puts things in perspective. What that means is that we've hit a lot of the goals that we've set out over the last couple of years but there is plenty of work that needs to be completed. In the big scheme of things, if VXL were a football team, we've just returned a kick off to our 10 yard line. We're off to the races but there is still a big hill to climb.

As a growing business, we have had to make some decisions that I disagreed with, or Troi disagreed with, but it is a fact of business that some of your decisions will make people happy and some will piss people off. What we try to do is make decisions that we think would benefit the majority. In the case of the international Clouds, we really needed to get international distribution in place as these were key relationships that are required that can help us expedite our CE certification process.

Like I mentioned earlier, we tried to make lemonade out of lemons. Most folks seem to appreciate the work around we came up with and we knew a few would be bothered by it. For those that don't like the decision we made, you can express your opinion in the way that hurts companies most, by not spending your dollars with us. While we hate to lose potential customers, those are some of the facts of life when you're running a business and we have to take the bad with the good.

...now back to your regularly scheduled forum thread...

Haven't had time to digest the difference between Plus and regular cloud performance yet, but I happen to have both models in my possession right now so I could compare the physical differences.

I have no way to know if all normal clouds and cloud plus models follow these differences but here's what I could see:

1) Cloud Plus has slightly shorter cord like others suggested
2) At the bottom where the glass bamboo sticks out, there is no insulation material around any part of the bamboo, just metal on glass. In fact I can see THROUGH the bamboo on the Plus and see the internal circuitry. With the normal cloud, you can't really see inside because of some type of rubber/plastic lining around the bamboo.
3) On the regular cloud, the font with the words "HOT" on the top is taller and more narrow. The "O" looks more like a 0 on the Cloud, whereas on the Plus the font is a bit more fat and the "O" is more of a round O.

Heat up time under 2 minutes (set to MAX!)

Oh and they threw in some silicon bracelets :) Thanks VXL!
