Love my Mendo Mulcher. Get 'em online 2pc medium for like $22. 3 turns, I have a good grind for my HI. Less 8 - 10 turns and you have kief.

I am almost tempted by the Ion Reti. It's <$300, offers a smaller volume and the reti perc..... must resist GAS......:ugh:

Just ordered a new grinder, maybe that will feed my ASOFCVEAS (As Seen On Fuck Combustion Vapor Equipment Acquisition Syndrome)

I thought switching to Vaporizing was supposed to save me money,. Living healthy is costly, but a little now will save you tons later,

I was eyeballing that SC shredder for about a week now. Im stuck on if I want a medium or a large one.
I too thought I would save money switching to vaping, but obviously all the money I saved from lighters and roll ups, went to my mobius piece, my HA, and maybe a new shredder as well. :p

So I picked up the 65b yesterday that I posted a pic of a page back. I LOVE IT! I was originally looking at the Clear, then got a recommendation from Frederick for a few pieces and was looking at the EFS Gridded Doughnut, but then stumbled upon the 65b and that settled that.

The only Mobius I've used previously was the 65t so a few comparisons (FYI I only used a VXC with the 65t, and so far have only used an E-Nano with the 65b while I wait for my new Cloud to arrive):

- I'm loving the height of the bubbler. When sitting at my desk, the mouthpiece comes right up to my mouth. It's perfect. The 65t either had to sit in my lap or I'd have to get up to hit it.

- The b gives deceptively big hits. The milk thickens slower than the t, but that's because much more of the vapor pulls straight through into your lungs while the can is also milking. Standard for bubblers? I don't really have much experience, so I don't know. But I've already got the hang of when I need to clear it to avoid too big a hit. Both my friends who tried it last night were sent into coughing fits because they had no idea that when they went to clear the can that their lungs were already almost filled to capacity. I guess this leads me to my next point...

- The hit is SMOOTH and almost unnoticeable on it's way in. The way out is a different story. The diffusion is no different than the 65t, as expected since it's the same perc. The drag is also the same. It takes a little pull to get the perc firing, but the drag is still minimal IMO. Just like the 65t and I assume the 60t.

- Flavor is a bit better on the b than the t. Not sure why or how but outside of the amount of diffusion I'm not sure what else really plays a part in flavor. So maybe someone else has an answer? But I can definitely taste a bit more of my flower than I could with the 65t. And I think the Cloud gives me better flavor than the Nano, so maybe once I get the Cloud back it'll be even more of a noticeable difference?

- My only complaint about the bubbler is the mouthpiece. I'm getting used to it and it's by no means bad, but it's a little weird. You basically have to pucker up and stick your lips inside the mouthpiece, but it makes me pucker a little more than I would prefer to. It doesn't alter my draw much, maybe just makes me have a narrower stream of air when I inhale, but it's a definite difference. Either way, I'm already adjusting to it after a night's use and by the end of the day today I'm sure it'll feel like the norm.

So in the end I am incredibly satisfied with this piece and think I can safely say I prefer it to the 65t. The size is much more comfortable as the 65t was just a bit too big for my liking.

Question: Does anyone have experience dabbing with Mobius? I'm wondering if it's worth using the 65b for concentrate too and just rinsing the piece out after dabs, or if I'd be better off buying an oil rig on the side. I figure it'd be better to just use the Mobius instead of picking up a cheap $100 rig, right?

For those of you who have hit a Mobius Reti and can therefore give an educated opinion,,,which bub would you prefer and why? Ion or Clear?

I can't believe the Reti are still in stock on ALT.

I know... its so hard not pulling the trigger.

Luckily, Allison put a damper on the urge, plus Big Mona still has plenty of new fun factor left.

Though, I think if I continue saving up some $$$, one of those Retis is going to be mine.

EDIT: I could trade my friend for his custom 65T (since he hates it) and trade that, for probably 2 pieces, one of being a Reti.

"t" is for "tube" and the mouthpiece comes off the top, "b" is for "bubbler" and the mouthpiece comes off the side, not sure if there are any other differences (I think the b's have a little indentation on the top that can be used as a dish too)

I'm not quite sure what you're asking to be compared. The Micro (Clear) vs Ion specifically with the Reti? The Micro (Clear) vs the Ion in general? Or?

Btw, on Mobius site it appears that he labels what we here have been calling the "Clear", as the "Micro" series, of which there is the Matrix and the Reti. "Clear" isn't mentioned; it's as if this term is just a descriptive adjective elsewhere perhaps to contrast with his worked alternatives. Pretty damned big for a "micro".

Lol I've always said the same. I guess micro compared to some of their big tubes.

My Clear Matrix arrived!!!!

I will have to endure a whole work shift with it within my grasp, yet wrapped up like a mummy in bubble wrap and covered in the soil that is shipping popcorn. Not very exciting, yet extremely exhilarating at the same damn time. I just wanna snap a few pics yet dont want mess up the packaging before I get it safe and sound at home nestled like a little baby. Oh well, less exciting box pic it is. More to come later.

I'm specificly talking about the Reti. Clear vs Ion.

I made it home. Yay. The initial pull test was amazing. :o (I saw so many bubbles in my TV reflection)
I will now be testing with my Pax and HA. I will do my best to make a video tonight, as I have a headache, so maybe not tonight. P.S. I do not appreciate the price sticker on the bottom, I had to scrub!!!

That looks so sick LNL.

I had no idea vaporizers can cause resin stains on glass too.

I'm so tempted to pull the trigger on the Ion Reti for $295.

I have the Arizer Solo, do you guys think I should invest in a stronger vaporizer or get a bub first?

IMO, if you have your heart set on a Mobius piece, pick one up ASAP. This is the only time I've seen them in stock this long, they go quickly. You can pick up a vaporizer at anytime.

The Ion Reti will retain its resale value, so if you decide you need a stronger vap, you can quickly sale it at very little or no loss.
