The "PERSEI" after the learning curve:
Is extremely powerful.
My medicine is lasting 3x as long.
Cost in use it is very effective.
The attachments keep things interesting.
November the "HERCULES"!
The carts I have are working so well.
I went from hating these things to loving them.
Now I have to be careful not to over medicate!
Am I doing something wrong?
Many of you seem to medicate all day long!
For me once after my day is done around 5:00PM a little time with my PERSEI knocks me out!
Sundays are a little different because I start medicating in the morning.
However the PERSEI puts me in a brief coma.
Don't get me wrong I'm a newbie so my assessments are not relative to most of you.
The more I learn about my toy the more medicated I become.

Don't "PERSEI" and drive!

planetvape is also a great source. slightly cheaper than D9 and they have lotsa other useful gear, like the cartridge to water pipe adapter, colibri butane, single cartridges, etc.

Indeed! I emailed planetvape.ca (as im in canada)the other day to see if they had an upgrade program similar to Delta9's...
They sure do. I paid $140 for a persei because i had purchased my ophos there earlier this year!So i ordered myself a persei and pre-ordered the Herc, cant wait :)
If you're in canada they are great to deal with because of the faster shipping times.

You are just in that grey area called tolerance. That is one of the things that makes cannabis different for each person, is how much do they already consume on a regular basis...what puts one man down will barely lift another... I'm hoping law enforcement figures this one out as things become "legal" so the DUI crap doesn't get all messed up due to some people's blood count being high and them not being physically effected.

tru that. when i started doin oil again at the beginning of the year i was using maybe a gram a week. now i'm maybe half a gram a day. oil especially has the ability to raise tolerance fast, i have found. maybe cuz there's less cbd usually so it's more up and leaves you clear, not burnt so it's easier to keep using.

Im going to mess with the Omicron guys a bit, but i got oil to vape on 3.7v and thats at 3.7v with pass through on a Persei. I would say about the same as a 2.4 ohm cart. We shall see more testing needed on batteries. Charging up the 3.7v AW 18650 now.

Is this with the 7.4v rated hercules? Is it possible to use the 7.4v hercules with a persei running 3.7v batteries?

No. It's with a different version, at the very least the 3.7 Volt one. Dropping the voltage to 1/2 what it was basically drops you to 25% power. Yes, 1/4 of what you had before.

My guess is G has modified the 3.7 Volt version (that up until now didn't get hot enough to vape oil) somehow to make it now get hot enough.....not the 7.4 Volt version.

well almost fully charged Aw 18650 at 4.19v works weird.

If i draw fast enough i get small amounts of vapor, if i draw slow it does not produce vapor.

But Pass through produces vapor.

And yes OF even with the voltage drop, i tested the pass through at 3.7v which under load puts out 3.7v vs the Aw 18650 4.19v under load puts out at about 4.0v.

so conclusion 4.0v battery powered oil = nope sorry wont happen.

3.7v pass through powered for oil = yup works good.

Still not done the part that im waiting for is not ready this is just another make shift part i tried. Of well. Back to the drawing board.

A different conclusion/guess:
Some measurement is off (i.e. your conclusion is invalid - it may be right or wrong, we don't know yet).
Second guess - Because: An earlier prototype of the Core AKA Reactor had problems with low voltage settings (it put out a much higher voltage) - The guess is, while your engineer probably made corrections that work for loads of 2.4 or 1.5 Ohms (or more), there is still an issue with the circuit with a "greater" load of (let us say) <=1 Ohm (which the Hercules must be at 3.7v) and the display is flat out wrong (and you are believing it - probably after seeing it track load correctly with an "EC" cart of "lower load"/"higher resistance").

But then again, I'm often way off.

The core never had a voltage issue, I used the core along with the new iris top and checked the output voltage, it all lines up. I've passed the info onto the engineers and they are looking into it.

You are correct, I was wrong; It was the Iris top which gave the incorrect voltage - The messages start with:
ok let me clear it up.

I have 5 Persei's for testing. All single top all batteries are reading 4.1v and all AW IMR 18650. They are reading 4.1 out of the unit and 4.1v while the button is pressed measured at the connector.

Now 2.0 ohm leak proof cart does not produce massive vapor on these setups.

Now 6th Persei. LCD Variable voltage top, thats set to 4.1v, but using 2 x 18350 AW IMR. Now using the same cartridge this beast produces 10x more vapor.

What could cause that? Also thought about voltage drop. So we tested 2.0 ohm cart at 3.2v alot more clouds then 4.1v single 18650 battery.
I'm still sticking with "incorrect measurement".

Nick that issue has been resolved. I will dive more into it later how there was a voltage difference.

But the unit i tried there was no voltage difference, between what was on the lcd output and what was measured. I am using a fluke 289, the numbers dont lie, there is another issue.

Alright guys, a quick reminder when you get the Hercules.

This is a very heavy duty cartridge, designed to work wonders, but at the same time it would need some attention to it, so that i can run without issues.

1st. on thing to remember about the Hercules is Please let it warm up about 7 seconds before you start inhaling. It will produce thin vapor at first but once it starts it keeps on rocking.

2nd. Do not exhale into the Hercules. Vapor traveling back into the unit will exit the air ports on the inside tube and the outside heat shield. Any vapor caught in between this space condenses back into oil, and gums up everything.

3rd. When you let go of the button you need to keep inhaling to cool it down. Yes because this is a ceramic heater it needs to be cooled down as it will keep on producing vapor while your not using it, this vapor will fill this middle section and condense back into oil. Make sure you keep using it until unit is cool.

4th. You can boil everything inside and clean it, so dont worry if you do mess up, just boil it.

5th. Once again it is a heavy duty item. Only thing you have to worry about is how you inhale, make sure to cool it down after you stop pressing the button, and never touch the heat shield when its working.

Please boil it clean once every 2-5 days for best operation.

Nice... so basically if you're not retarded, the Hercules will be amazing and stay that way for quite some time!

So every part except the actual heating element can be boiled? Wouldn't it be easier to just put the parts in a bag with iso alcohol and shake it up?
