 Oh my crap, I just got my shipment confirmation. Motherlovingsonofa :goat: I am excited!

When I use my tracking number I get a message that says: Delivery status information is not available for your item via this web site. A return receipt after mailing may be available through your local Post Office. Guess what??? I COULDN'T CARE LESS!!! My Cloud has started its journey to me and, in some ways, this is the best damn moment of 2012 for me thus far :smug:

Just in case you might think that a tad pathetic, let me say that 2012 has been a bummer of a year for me so far. I can't wait to help myself to some Cloud induced cheer and positive feelings :peace:

If you have the switch in the on position before plugging it in, it will be on as soon as you plug it in, or if it's in a power strip as soon as you turn the strip on.

Thanks dirtpie! That is exactly what I needed confirmed. I am imagining now the best way to automate all of this while my cloud is on its way *grin*

Ok my Sovereignty pros! I bought a new piece to fit the cloud with. I ordered one piece but was sent another. Should I be happy an take the piece or should I scream bloody murder for a refund or the original piece I ordered. Thanks. And yea the first one was priced $335 shipped second one was $360 shipped

Here's the piece I ordered a SG 60mm bent neck upgrid

And here's same piece I believe except sandblasted rings and it seems the neck is not bent as much as the first one.

I can't tell from the angle, but that inline looks angled down? Is it level, or angled? It could be just the perspective.

Edit: That is a better photograph. Thanks for the new angle. The other one looked like it bent down at a 45 degree angle. That looks much better. ;)

Well I would say it is up to you. If you want the one you ordered. I would call them and day you did not get what you ordered. If you think this one is nicer, then keep it.

I think it comes down to the bend in the neck. Which one do you want more?

I just edited an took a direct side shot and u can see the neck is only bent slightly compared to the first one.

@turk oh yeah I had to combust tho! Unfortunately needs an adapter for cloud to fit.

I, too, am in the "got my cloud shipping notice and am about to shit in my pants" club.

I know that most members have said that the difference in performance between the hydratree and hydracirc is negligible.

However, what's the difference in performance between a tree/circle perc vs. inline diffuser (in general, not necessarily with the hydratubes)?

Did you order this from BM or a headshop? Personally, I'd want the piece I originally ordered and would be kinda pissed if a different one was sent to me. $330-$350 isn't that much money (don't get me wrong here), but it's definitely enough to make sure you get what you wanted. And I haven't seen every bent neck SG that's been produced, but I've never seen an SG with those kinds of sandblasted rings on the neck (and I've looked at every SG appreciation thread there is). SG is known for its impeccable quality and clean welds: notice on the bottom pic how the sandblasted ring closest to the can looks slightly crooked? Is there a Sovereignty logo on the base too? Maybe a true SG expert could offer his/her opinion...

Are you quite sure the Cloud is going to clear the can? From the pic, esp the second one, it looks as if the top of the can is a small fraction higher than the joint. If the Cloud sits into the joint flush there will only be ~1/8" to the Cloud housing which may not put it high enough to clear the can, which it must do given how close the joint is to the can.

In response to the question about the difference between the tree, circ & inline diffusers:

I have not tried all of the three hydratube models, but with general diffusers I find that diffusers that are the same style have similarities in performance due to similar glass structures and air flow patterns.

However, these similarities are generally dwarfed by the impact that the exact proportions of the various parts of the diffuser has on its performance (and making two pieces of glass EXACTLY the same is near impossible).

IMO, the major differences between the tree, circ & inline hydratubes comes down to durability, aesthetics, air flow patterns, cleaning difficulty, and (in the case of the inline hydratube) how much water it can hold.

Does anyone else find it hilarious that shortly after the Cloud became available, FC removed the phrase "there is no best vaporizer" from their home page? :brow:

Toke it easy all.

PS: IMO it is not really all that lame to be soooo excited about your cloud being on its way. I find myself wondering if the wait is harder for those who already tried one or those who have never used one. :lmao:

Yeah from BM and it has the double sided logo on the bottom too. It's the same piece just sandblasted and the logo is black and white instead of green.

@oldiebutgoodie yeah I know I already ordered an adapter should be here this week.

Giddy Up!
Hey guys, just wanted to give a shout out to SM55 and the VapeXhale team for such an awesome revolutionary, game changing, piece of vapor technology! I've been a lurker here since the start of the project, and have always admired SM55's videos and posts. Now that i've used the Cloud for a month or so, I wanted to say that it definitely meets and exceeds the hype!

I can't wait to see what else these vapor gurus have up their sleeves! THANK YOU!

I was just sitting here talking up the Cloud to a visiting friend!! I LOVE my Cloud, and as SOON as they put individual cloud units up for sale (no HT) I plan to get a back up. Got my HT/ELB stand today! :)

I would have added this to my previous post however I am unable to edit it anymore for some reason. Anway, I wanted to update my post to say that my tracking number for my Cloud works just fine now, I must have simply been too eager and tried it out too quickly :D

Enjoy the clouds everyone!

So guys who have just ordered the Cloud and are waiting for delivery... Which style of HydraTube did you get? I want to share in your excitement :-).

As far as the differences between the diffusers, and in the case of the inline with the amount of the water it holds, I thought more water was not as good as less (if i'm putting that correctly). As in, less water, means more flavor, and less loss of taste. I'm new to vaping, so I could be completely wrong.

Anyhow, I look forward to getting a bunch of HydraTubes, too bad I am way to broke right now to get the HydraLine, otherwise I would have ordered it already. Maybe around Christmas time if it's still in stock.

------

Edit: Just for my insatiable appetite of knowledge about the Cloud, I searched for the VapeXhale Patent application. It's quite interesting if anyone wants to take a read. Patent application - The link is huge thats why I did it as words instead of the direct link, it's at uspto.gov link.

I am contemplating placing an order tonight but can't decide on which style HT to go with. I wasn't planning on spending $500 on a vaporizer but after reading and watching I don't know if I will be happy with anything else.

Which one do you think is more durable and easiest to clean? This will be my first 'bubbler' glass piece and my second vaporizer (currently have the Pax).

Hey Espo, that's exactly how I felt and why I ordered my Cloud :-).

I chose the Evolver HydraTree and you can see the videos in this thread of Glasstafarian dropping his Evolver hydratubes (both circ and tree). Glasstafarian makes them :-).

I can't speak for the durability of the other tubes. As far as cleaning my HydraTree is pretty easy to clean. Salt + ISO and 1 minute later, like brand new.

Trust me, you won't be. The Cloud is a game changer. Nothing else compares.

As for durable, these are all THICK SOLID pieces of glass. None of them will break UNLESS you drop them or knock them into other pieces of glass or hard surfaces. Take care when using/cleaning and they will never wear out or break on you.

If you are still worried, that hydraline would probably be most likely to break if dropped due to the external tube. I imagine the hydracirc would take quite a bit to actually break. You could beat a robber to death with that thing.
