Opps, posted before I wrote anything.
This is the change I remember seeing. Knew I wasn't going nuts.

My brother and I are still waiting for that replacement core for almost a month now. At least I hope we get that new pattern core sent...

I was unaware of these variations in the heater core and mouthpiece hole patterns, it looks like there is a different material used in one of the caps, lids also (not sure of proper TV terminology yet!) Still can't wait to see which one mine is going to be!

Has anyone used titanium screens in the T1? I can't see why not!

I think I'm going to go fine grind a few grams of ECSD in my Space Case, while I'm throwin" LV DARTS into my Persei!(gotta do something to keep me busy while I'm waiting on my T1!)

Great Scott!
Got it so what I need is simply more holes AND less holes.

More and less towels Dewey Cox!

Guess TV is on a holey budget. As long as they all add up....

Pretty short sighted if you asked me. What's to keep a guy from putting an old cap on a new bowl and having more holes than he's entitled to?

Not to mention he could put the new cap on the old bowl and pawn it off on E-bay to some trusting fool.....

No wonder Tim is being so quiet about this one.

Whats going on in TV land with the power supply 12v car plug? At this point I'd find that far more useful than the house plug I have currently. I've run it with a power inverter, but it would be nice to not make a jungle out of the car haha.

I asked about this in an email a few days ago to the ThermoVape team and here was the reponse:

Glad you're enjoying the pass through. As far as I know, we don't have a car pass through adapter in design. I'm not sure if that's something that is discussed on the forums much, but I have yet to hear about one at all here.

Regards,
Zeki

I would assume Zeki doesn't frequent us on FC, but I could've sworn it was mentioned by the TV team at one point on here. Man.. honestly I was looking forward to the DC adapter moreso than the AC adapter, I sure hope they can source one that will work.

If someone (else) is up to experimenting, here is a supply that should do (5A@6v from 12v):

That one will do the job nicely. Kind of pricey but specs look good.
Would just need the connector and some wire and away you go.
Install a cig lighter plug would make it portable.

There you go DM. :D

Great Scott!
Any reason not to just use a regular power inverter and the house adapter? At this point my cloud gets used inside and the T1 outside/car only.

I would say it would be a approach with caution for sure. Reason been, the inverters are rarely a true RMS AC output. The cheap ones are more of a square wave. This would be the first thing to look for. The power consumption in this case is relatively small. So a good quality 100 watt job should in theory work fine.
So what I'd do (and probably will try) is hooking it up, then fire it up watching the glow of the element. Compare with batteries. Also check for any abnormalities with power supply such as heat or buzzing. Just can never be too safe. The last thing you want is electrical problems while driving.

If your buddy's VW SUV is a recent Touareg, it has several 115v outlets and a built-in power inverter. The vehicle I drive has more than a half dozen A/C outlets, including one on the dashboard.

Nick Again,

Always in a state of confusion and silliness♀
My dodge has an ac outlet that can't even run a portable vacuum. I am not really sure why I need it if it can run anything. It couldn't even charge my computer or my scooter battery. I hope the VW is better.

Anyone from the UK ordered?

I get $47 postage for a single $35 item. Arse

I got a couple of mouthpieces delivered to Australia from TV earlier in the year. At that time they had three shipping options, with the cheapest being about $15 if I recall correctly. When I went to order a couple of small parts in July I noticed that the cheapest shipping for any part was $43.95. I shot TV an email to ask if there was any cheaper option. When I ordered they ended up dropping the handling fee, bringing the shipping down to $16.95. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. Not overly surprised though, considering all the great feedback TV gets on this forum for their customer service.

If anyone wants to order small inexpensive items from TV but is put-off by the shipping charges, I would suggest asking for a discount on shipping. Perhaps TV will change the international shipping options back again as it seems that a few people have been put-off by the current arrangement.

It is, but its the one right before the power inverter I think. Or he hasn't found it yet :p

Where is the built in inverter?

In his VW we used a cheapo power inverter and the official TV wall wart from the power supply. Everything worked perfect on more than 1 occasion.

Well tried a couple on my transformer type supply. Both failures.
1st one was an real cheap $7 from Walmart. Thought just for the hell of it I'd try. LOL Just shut itself off as soon as plugged in. Transformer not even under load.
2nd try was a $40 replacement from ol Walmart 140 Watts of digital AC ???
The power handle LED would go off when load applied and what's odd is the element would heat away past safe hot. And then some smoke down below and power off. Fuse blew. I have a lighter plug spitter which has a fuse. guess I was the piggy pig for this one.
So what's confirmed? For sure transformer type AC supplies do not work on artificial "cheap type" inverters for sure.
These inverters still work on regulated DC supplies as confirmed by DR.
Also, the transformer type supplies might still have a chance on more true RMS inverters. Up next?

Thanks as that would be great. Not sure about the magnificient though.
So far I have a set up at home and work with the power supply Using them with that little 510 handle and it's so cool to just stick the adapter on and hit away.
Add one to the car and have all the bases covered.
Love it.

Evry1concentrate

It's 7:10, maryjane you better concentrate.
I have my T1 with all the concentrate attachments, LV and SV. And the best advice i can give in my situation, being not vaping flowers. Dont be afraid of the device! Hold that fuckin switch all you want, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying duct tape it on for the day. But deff don't be afraid to use the thing. They built it to be used and abused, so weather your LV or SV, become one with the switch.
