Well since canceling my order for the inh004 way back ago, I decided to go ahead and jump on the wagon and see what all the fuss is about. Black onyx reordered. :popcorn:

Beat ya to it by an hour dude! They are in stock in black.

Love the Puffit (after I added a dome screen and paper washer to the cap) but couldn't resist ordering this one just cuz it's so damn cool. Puffit will be my travel unit, Pax for home.

Hummmm Not sure.. With mine I dont think I did anything.. I left the free 2-7 day shipping checked and they changed it to overnight.. Email them to make sure.. They are super nice and usually get back to you in under 24 hrs..

http://www.steinville.com/supplies.htm (down the page a little, looks like one of those might be what he is using). I don't have a Pax, but was thinking of getting one, so I can't test any of those but they arn't expensive.

EDIT: I'm thinking they are the wrong thing but maybe I am on the right track hah, I'll leave the link in case they are the correct thing

Can someone do some more research on this Mysterious vapor? Im going to get my unit in and i will check for it. If this is the issue with the plastic burning i will have to return it. Im not going to inhale plastic

I've had my unit in use for 4 or 5 days now and not noticing any off gassing, no weird smells, etc. I've been using on medium as honestly - don't know why anyone would need high when medium makes thick enough to choke you hits lol.

I am really digging this little thing....way more than I had hoped to.

Had a scare today with my Pax. I was outside vaping and a huge bee started attacking me. I'm allergic and in panic I was flailing my arms around and my Pax tool a dive on hard concrete. Mouthpiece and oven lid both separated from the unit. I was so hurt I could've cried. I reassembled and turned it on and she's working fine. She has a little scratch at the top of the unit but functionality seems perfect. Fucking bees..

again...there is no mysterious vapor with the pax...that was with the DaVinci.

Yea I beginning to wonder why this person is REALLY over here posting this and who they REALLY are????? hummmmmm Why do I have the feeling they work for some other Vape company... :horse:

ordered mine on the 1st, but PV is still waiting on their shipment as well unfortunately. (very glad to getting it from PV though! I love to support them if I can!)

hehe all you guys with delivery anxiety! I know the feeling fellas! for some sick sadistic reason, that is actually my favourite time of an item purchase.

So often when you get the product you are waiting for you are so hyped to get it you build it up to be so much more than it really is and this leads to disappointment. so for me my favourite time is that time when the item is the "best" when it's still a dream in my mind! haha sometime what you get is better than what you expected but usually it's like this:

I bought 2 temperature sensitive coffee mugs, they had a map of the world on them, and when you had a hot coffee or tea in there the map lit up displaying the C02 concentrations over the world. they were expensive after shipping. and when i get em here is what i got... 1 shattered mug, the other one all chipped up. then the kicker! i found out they were not Microwave or dishwasher safe! lol what mug can't go in those?? haha thankfully i got a full refund.

that said, i try not to let myself be controlled by my materialistic ego.

Ever since I first heard about the Pax I've been obsessing over this thread but I didn't think i'd be able to wait till August or if it would even live up to the price tag anyway. I had turned all of my attention to the Puffit for discretion and that gorgeous price tag but IMO it seems to be worth only about half that price right now. Still see it in my future once they work out A LOT of kinks but I would much rather pay another hundred bucks for the level of quality the Pax appears to bring. My only gripe is that i'm sick of carrying around batteries which is why I was excited to find a rechargeable portable, but it seems unable to be charged in the car :( Other than that I see no other reason why I shouldn't have this vape!
Now I just have to wait a couple-ish weeks for the amethyst purple and my vape fix will be satisfied for a while :) I'll be sure to leave my review!

PS: Thanks to SliM for the vid review, it's what sealed the deal for me. And thanks to bOObs for finding a temporary waterpipe solution. I'm completely spoiled to water conditioning so I'm ordering a 'boot' online now so it's here when my
Pax arrives :)
