Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Low-Temp Hempist / JedHI Master
My unit also had the "SM55 OK!!" which I thought was a great touch. Thanks again SM.

I'd like to "take one for the team" and let Vapexhale know I'm willing to personally test each unit prior to sending so SM55 et al can worry about other things. I know, I know, it sounds awful and tedious, but gosh darn it--you guys deserve nothing but the best and I'll sacrifice myself for you all.

Ok, back to reality. THC - I really like what you wrote about the cold ELB producing thick, tasty hits. As my title suggests, I'm all about low-temp hemp! Your comment and what I've seen from beta testers is encouraging (plus - no stirring between hits, right?).

Cheers! Happy vaping!

I've found that while it's not required, stirring when the ELB is more than half full is helpful - the next couple of hits are a bit bigger. With the ELB loaded half or less, stirring doesn't seem to make a noticeable difference.

So I've settled on one stir but only when loading ~.2g or more. But with or without stirring ultimately the extraction is totally complete and even; I can get very dark ABV but of course the taste is shit by then.

The dryness of the herb is also definitely a factor. I've got 2 batches at the moment with the better quality being less dry, and it needs stirring, especially when more fully loaded. The other batch is very dry and needs no stirring regardless of load.

^ Well put. I generally always load at least a little more than halfway full, and will usually stir/crush just once about half way through.

I have also noticed that with the smaller bowls (less than half full), the stir really doesn't make much difference and is not really necessary.

I have found that with a mostly full ELB, two flicks of the ELB will stir it plently for my liking.

Again, to those non cloud owners, you dont need to worry about stirring. If you never stir in your life you'll still get very evenly cooked abv with huge tasty clouds.

I seem to remember SM posting that his best results with packing his ELB was when he used it 1/2 - 3/4 full. That would indicate a loose pack...
It's what I've done and had best results with too.:2c:

I use a loose pack also. I just tap the bottom of the ELB on the table a few times gently to settle the contents. It seems that about ~.25-.3g fills the ELB, keeping in mind that the cap enters 1/4" (a quarter of the way in, the ELB is exactly 1").

Those who "tap" or "flick" the ELB during the session, do you remove it from the joint first?

Besides trying the flick, I've also tried turning the Cloud upside-down and back up a few times. But I don't recommend this: It just moves the material all around inside the ELB and to settle the contents down you have to tap the bottom of the unit.

The "end of bowl taste" I think depends upon herb, temp, and how dark you're browning. I only have access to mids which are unfortunately also over-priced, so the taste doesn't even start out all that great but I need to extract completely. At the end it doesn't really taste like shit in and of itself but it sure is poor compared to what you lucky bastards get. ;)

The point about not loading all the way is a very good one given my herb. The end-of-bowl taste effect is definitely more noticeable when the bowl is full. I think I'm going to stick with the ~1/2 load for that reason, and then for sure there's no need to stir, either.

I have observed that a full ELB vapes less evenly than a 1/4 or half. It seems the smaller loads vape the nicest, though it's splitting hairs because a 1/8th full bowl and a packed bowl both vape very nicely.

Here is a small load:

Mind you this was shot with my first cloud, my new unit runs cooler and should be able to achieve notably lighter abv color. (stoked!!)

EDIT:Nevermind the sgw talk, I jumped to conclusions. Theres a nonleaky hydra circ on its way to me, I'm stoked :)

No pack, no stir here. I vary my load size from 10% to 75%, depending on how medicated I feel like getting.
I start at nine, stop at one, save that abv, and load a EZB 2/3s full with the dial full blast for my bedtime sesh. Sweet dreams for sure.

Gotta mention again how much I'm lovin my BHO on a cotton ball in an ELB. Tastiest delivery ever. I'm gettin some bubble bags soon, a concentrate I haven't attempted yet. I assume the cloud will excel with this too.

I've hit my cloud everyday since I got it, no problems for me. Totally satisfied. Everyone needs one of these.

Yes, it seems like now is a great time to say it as well: Not a problem with my cloud since day one and all of my other vapes are put away except for my Thermowatsit!  :peace:

Peace & Clouds Friends!

NEXT POST #420!!!!

I am finding that bubble works very well with the Cloud as well. I sandwich a little between some ground bud and it is delicious :smug:

Larry OG is happy ABV! I load .25 to .3 gr (2/3 full) ELBs and never stir. Get 5-6 milky hits per load depending on herb and cure. VXC is rock solid, hasn't missed a beat. Have scaled my (cooler) unit back to 3:30-4:00 allowing it to sit on green for a few minutes.

SM told me he thought my unit was sweet spot and I think he's right. Glad I didn't take him up on recalibration offer. This is the best tasting, lowest maintenance, and simplest to use vape I've had the pleasure to use, by a country mile!

New Cloud day #2 (I won't do this every day!)

My biggest impression is how well thing thing works with my preferred amount of meds (~.1G) which fills the ELB about 1/4th full. I start on 10 and finish at noon. 5-6 huge rips. Chocolate brown ABV. I start vaping as soon as the light turns green. No need to for additional warm up time. I am also starting to "get" the Hydratube thing which is a perfect pairing with the Cloud. Time to start rotating through the glass collection this weekend

More smiles... Stupid Vape Tricks

I thought I would share some of the dumb mistakes that have occurred with my Cloud.

First off there have been numerous times where I have used the Cloud and wondered why the hit was so light and tastless only to discover I had neglected to put the ELB in the Cloud. It is an amazing vape but it definitely doesn’t produce Clouds out of nothing. SM, I would be willing to pay double if you guys could produce one of those!

Day # 2 of owning the Cloud. I had a friend over and I excitedly showed him the Cloud. I wanted him to try it after he finished something he was doing for me. I had to leave before he was ready so I showed him how it worked, opened and showed him a full ELB. Turned the Cloud on, left the loaded ELB next to it and left. Came home later and he was gone. Next time I used the Cloud I notice little particles floating in the water of my HydraCirc. How the hell did they get through the ELB screen? After a bit of pondering I called my friend and found out he had placed the ELB in the Cloud and decided he should “fill the bowl” that is the top of the ELB. IOW, he put the closed ELB in the Cloud and had forgotten that I had showed him it was full so he put more on top of the closed ELB. Then used it. I had a bit of a clean-up job from that mistake.

And finally… several nights ago I decided to try a first for me - a sandwich of ground herb with some keif in the middle of it. This would be my second ELB for that sitting. :mmmm: I prepared it just right. Put the ELB in and took a big rip. Much harder to get the air through the HydraCirc. Weird! Must be the keif is making it harder to pull. I’ll just try harder. Same thing on the second pull and just not getting the kind of hit I expected. Actually hardly getting anything at all. I pull the HydraCirc off the Cloud and DOH!!! I forgot to put the top on the ELB after I made the sandwich and had inserted it topless. The ELB was empty and my HydraCirc was now filled with the contents of my sandwich. Not good! Besides wasting some good stuff there were now particles in each chamber on the HydarCirc and it took a while to get it clean. Those little slits are challenging to get stuff out of! Probably a good thing I didn’t have a gridded tree!

Anyone else have “user issues” with their Cloud?

invisible ink?

Sorry. I had typed it in Outlook. Copied it in to post here and it turned invisible for me - black text on a dark background so I set it to white for the font color. Just changed it to gray. Hopefully it will be now be readable for all.
