Really love the Aurum and Rosium. The Phantom looks badass, love the color, but I'm personally not a fan of the coating, it almost feels ever so slightly 'greasy' even after the initial clean.

Aurum and Rosium coatings feel perfect, though. I'm surprised at how much I love the Aurum... the gold looks really, really cool in person.

Hope this displays @thejackalsmark it was piece of pie compared to imgbb who I have used exclusively since imgur threw spanners at us.

Let's find out if this works straight up or if I need to edit and tinker.

Edit: this is imgbb I could only get a tiny picture to display using postimages.

I say imgbb trumps it, what do y'all think?

@Alexis
There's pros and cons to each.
As for the larger size, if I tap on one in my post that I uploaded it just pops out and enlarges it, doesn't take me to post images, and displays at the intended size.

Here's your picture unedited after I saved it to post images and then shared the link here.

This image is 600 x 800

It must be something in the settings. I'll check my settings on post images and see if there's something specific.

Okay. So I have mine set to not alter image size in my settings however you can adjust that size from Avatar size all the way up to 21 inch monitor size.

If you experiment with the settings for that size I think you'll find a setting you're happy with.

This screenshot is 720 x 1480 btw.

I hope that helps.

I'm amazed at how quickly this thread moves! I'm sorry guys and gals, I can't keep up!
It's truly an amazing thread for, what I think, is a great product.

I would venture that I have read 70% of the thread, although that's a total guess, but seems about right.
I know many of you have read every post.

So I am guessing the new color M's have been a hit? May have to grab one of those on Black Friday.
Functionally, they're the same as my 19M, but aesthetically, I love my two new Roium's. The folks that I've shown them too have all had nice Ooh and Aah reactions.

Ok, Socks checkin in here again and to be honest I haven't been using the Omnivap other than one bowl a night as my Evo still gets better flavor and consistent results either due to my technique or this Vertigo Z dual flame lighter. I have ordered a single and a triple flame from Amazon and I'm hoping that by experimenting with that single flame, I can finally get the consistent results that so many claim. I'm just not getting getting consistent results at all I have tried lowering the flame, raising the flame, I heat just above the outside Aura of the lightest blue flame and have experimented from the tip to the base. What is consistent is the fact that I get charred left overs all the time now and I can taste it. It works good enough to the point that I'm willing to keep trying but if I can't get it down pat with a single flame, I'm pretty much going to be keeping this Omni XL locked away in my closet.. ready for the next California Earthquake or the next time Edison cuts our power.

Before I pass judgement completely, I'll wait to receive my two new lighters and experiment with them first.

I still remember the very first bowl I lightly loaded in the largest screen placement setting.. It didn't burn, it tasted as good as my Evo and Plenty used to and the ABV was a nice dark brown very similar to what my Evo and Plenty used to produce. Again, I'm really not sure what I'm doing wrong but it got even worse last night when I COMBUSTED! At first, I thought something was wrong when I didn't hear the click for almost 20 seconds, then I saw the smoke creep out of the cap! Not a good sign.

I won't past judgment yet because I know this is capable of more than what I'm getting, but I'm having a really discouraging time with this vape.

Until my lighters get here, I think it's time to clean my Omni XL because it stinks bad of burnt bud. I plan on just removing all O rings and soaking all parts (including cap if this is ok) in 90% ISO for only about 30 minutes or so. The reason why I want to confirm this is because Dyna vap says, No flammable cleaning solutions? Why does Dynavap say this? Surely this is ok right?

Iso is ok?

Hello mate thanks a lot for the insight into how Postimages works, really appreciate that I will have to have a play see if I can do the same.

I didn't actually make an account yet so maybe I need to first, I will see.

The beauty in question is actually Mephisto Genetics Northern Cheese Haze Autoflower. It was a real beauty alright we were really blessed this year with the quality of the plants and the product is ridiculous!

It smashes me big time this stuff. It's incredible how little I can vape now and still be higher than I have been used to over the years. I use my edibles daily in high dosages to be fair. But I still only hit about 3 or 4 loads with the WS all day yesterday.

Tired today guys. Steam inhalation and shower to come now (in reverse order) then I think a return to sleep will be required but not before some form(s) of medicaton first.

On with my day. Hope you are all doing well this Saturday fellow vapcappers and are lined up for exciting, fun filled weekends. :)

I don't 'soak' my caps in iso but I use it to clean them. A little baggie of iso and a small scrub brush, less than a minute total and then rinse under running water. The caps generally don't get too dirty anyway. The condensers and tips need the most attention.

ISO is fine. The disclaimer from DV is because it’s flammable. That being said, the best remedy for combustion aftertaste is running fresh herb through it. 30 min in ISO won’t get rid of it.

ISO won’t hurt the cap, but it won’t help it either, so save your time and your ISO.

I pushed out the screen from my M to clean the body and the screen was all bend out of shape. Is this normal?

I heat the tip a bit before removing the CCD however I rarely remove it for cleaning. Q-tip and a circular motion with ISO does the trick.

The closer you pusher outer is to the size of the bowel the harder it is to damage the CCD.

@GoldenBud - I needed to clean out my VC learning curve where there have been a couple of flame-outs. The cooling section was pretty well encrusted. And no, don't have spares :mental: . They should ship with a spare for newbies

@Planck - I followed the Dynavap video using the condenser tube to push the screen out. In the video the screen looked pristine but mine looked mangled as I peered under the bowl . It did go back in and I locking it in with the condenser tube again and all looks 'normal' enough. However, I am certain my heart skipped a beat when I saw that mangled screen :uhh:. I won't be doing that again anytime soon :disgust:

Too lazy to quote people today but thanks guys on the cleaning advice. I'll run everything in ISO but the cap.. The cap I'll just use a little dishwashing soap and water with a q tip. Sounds good?

Thanks again!

Edit: Been experimenting and am getting much better results the way George Showed how to do it in one of their videos. Above the blue arch of the flame. Just had one of the tastiest hits after the cleaning about 3/4 of the way to the top of the cap with my flame!
