Multi-brand HEALTHY RIPS FURY

Does the Fierce have decent flavor?

Better flavor than the Solo II for sure. Just not with the black mouthpiece, which I think of as something to only use out and about for convenience.

Fierce + glass mouthpiece or wpa = CIVILIZED.

Also, I agree with @LesPlenty that the Fierce is a better choice. The Fury 2 is great but it's tiny so the battery dies quickly and even the xl wpa is only good for about .1g.

Lastly, the Fierce is a bit slower than the Fury 2 so the flavor is better, the avb stays lighter longer, and the vapor is less harsh at similar temps.

My favorite use for the Fierce is bubbler hits at max temp so I think you'd enjoy it with all your poolside bongs. Solo II only beats it for battery life and balance on your bubbler since the glass isn't centered on the Fierce.

That’s very nice information relevant to my search!
Not to sound like a snob!
Plastic does not make a suitable mouth piece 4 some!
What does one do 2 make da RIP more better?

Hi, everyone! I've been reading many threads on my search for a vape for BF (medical user) and finally landed on this one, after having the Air Vape XS for a few months. I have basically read through this entire thread and was so impressed by everyone's reviews and HR's CS. Anyway, we just got it in the mail today, and it's such a great little unit!! I just have a few questions:

1) BF and I are both visually impaired/totally blind, and so we aren't able to easily follow pics and videos, moreso if there's not much verbal direction/description. We are both a little baffled as to how to fill and use the bubbler and WPA. I know that the SPA can be used independently and sit directly in the bowl, but how do I fill it? How do I use this in conjunction with the bubbler?
2) Like an idiot, I snapped the plastic piece that has to be pried out during initial cleanup; the one that holds the glass piece of the MP in place. It's still all in one piece, but it came apart in one spot. It all still fits nicely back into the unit and keeps everything secure. Should I order a new mouthpiece, ask HR for that specific piece or is this not a big deal?

Thanks everyone in advance, and sorry if this is a long post...I guess you could say the unit works well lol...

First off, howdy! Welcome to the Forum, lots of great folks around......but you surely know that from reading the thread. Great choice on F2 @Vitolo (Sage of the High Desert) has confirmed this vape is top of the list for those with physical impairments, something you're no doubt considered.

Filling stems like the bubbler, WPA and bent stem can be done several ways. The water in the bubbler can be a hassle (gravity and all) so you might want to dump the water first to avoid accidents (at least at first).

Some guys just poke the open end in a dish/jar of ground herb and suck up the load. Hard to beat for simplicity. Some of us dump a bit of herb in one palm and 'work' it into the stem against the palm. If your herb is well cured (dry) there's no real mess, easy to dump the excess back in the container. This is what I usually do. Some just stuff some in, even an intact nug, broken off the bud, will vape just fine since everything in the load is uniformly heated by conduction as you use it.

Some of us just poke the open end in the jar until we're happy with the fill. Not rocket science, and kind of a fun ritual, really. This is how I fill the capsules (which I think you should consider). If you do decide to try it PM me and I'll send you one of my loading tool sets that makes this very easy. I 'owe' Vitolo some more but the tube I got came in a tiny bit smaller than the last batch and I've had to order more. I should be able to scrounge you a set from the bits I have from development if the tube doesn't get here in time, might be ugly but functional?

No problem with the break if I understand you right. But there's no real need IMO. Wash it out assembled when needed. I put mine in the dish washer 'big end up' in the silverware tray after removing the screen (and putting it in the same tray). 20 minutes in hot detergent cleans it just like 'pots and pans'. You can also put it in a small jar (I think the one I use used to have baby food?) with detergent and hot water and shake it some. Best detergent, by far IMO, is PBW, a specialized detergent developed for Coors to clean brewery equipment of the same sort of hydrocarbon junk where you can't scrub.

If you want to replace it (understandable) I'd suggest contacting that superb Customer Service at HR, confess you sin, promise to be more careful and I'll give you 'dollars to doughnuts' they send you a replacement. They have supported serious MMJ use 'above and beyond' at every turn. I get the feeling they genuinely enjoy it.

Again, welcome. Glad you're on board. Experiment around some and find techniques that suit you and give the results you want. Sort of spilling water all over, no real wrong things to try?

Best wishes.

I use CASCADE and HOT H20 to clean my pipes.
I putt them away clean.
Sometimes I use 3 different ones?
Will a BUBBLER work with a RIP VAPORIZER?
I rise once clean with citrus juice?

Hi--thank you so much for the warm welcome, great advice and especially the kind offer for the filling tool! I'm not sure if he'll want to use caps yet, but I'll be sure to ask him. We are having no trouble filling the WPA now, it's simple and so delightful to use! I just have one quick, probably silly question: are we supposed to use the WPA with the bubbler? I thought we are but can't seem to figure out how to put the two together/connect them.
Thanks again for everything!

So to clarify, I can't use the WPA with the F2 bubbler? In other words, they don't actually connect at all; I'd have to get a different bubbler to connect with this WPA? :) Thanks for the help!

The bubbler fits directly into the F2, you don't need anything else.

The WPA or Water Pipe Adaptor is used to fit it to standard bongs, it has it's staggered shape so it will fit into 10, 14 or 18mm bong joints.

Yes, two different things. You can only use one at a time.

While you can use the WPA (Water Pipe Adapter) 'barefoot' as a mouthpiece, which many do, to get an 'all glass vapor path' the holy grail of taste fanatics, it's usually used fitting into one of the 3 standard sizes (10, 14 and 18mm) of female 'GonG' (Glass on Glass ground tapered gasket less connections). Generally on larger table top units for optimum performance. There's even a special model FC WP (bubbler)....

Sometimes this means F2 is upside (stem down) but that's fine.

Yer welcome for sure. Glad to help when I can, as are many 'round here.

Excellent advice, I'll take it to heart. Time to sit in the garden and supervise some soon, still a bit cool here. Even the birds are somewhere else, they'll be back soon, best to be ready for that.

Regards to all.

This is what I use as a daily-driver bubbler, largely because it's cheap enough that it wouldn't be the end of the world if I broke it and had to replace it.
But yeah, for some reason I'm partial to the look of a side-car in this size of bubblers:

*edit* My apologies to the mods. I'd intended to link to the one with no counterfeit logo, like the one in the pic below (I don't like counterfeit logos either) . Here is the correct link:

Apologies again for my mistake.

@bossman, I always recommend that bong to first-timers(D020-d knockoff), best all-rounder in my line-up.
@Ramahs, that sidecar is better suited to a less restrictive vape like a Plenty or Tera.:2c:

I know that this is the Fury 2 thread, but I would advise someone with visual impairment issues to get a Lil Bud by vapwood.com.

It is a vape with no glass and no viewing screen, and the only things you need to deal with are battery change outs and filling the stem. The entire "vaping system" is only 4 pieces, the unit, the battery the battery cover and the stem. I am confident that if you explain to @Bravesst that there are visual impairment issues he will figure out a way to indicate battery direction in/on the wood.

@hyzenthlay, it's worth pointing out that the Fierce has haptic feedback and vibrates when it reaches temp or turns off (though setting and reading that temp is still problematic in your case). The Fierce also a usb c cable which at least plugs in easier than micro usb. If the larger size and haptic feedback are useful you might see if Healthy Rips would exchange your Fury 2.

The Lil Bud is an interesting recommendation from the always insightful @sickmanfraud. I adore mine for the flavor and on demand technique with the single button and no other controls. That said, I really don't think it'd be super easy to operate due to the fussy stem setup and the general need to stir more. Plus you always have to hit it with care to avoid scorching or combusting, which is never a risk with the Fury 2 or Fierce.

With the Lil Bud each hit is a bit of a new adventure. The first few stems hit better than later when the goofy 18650 battery starts to drain. The grind, density of packing, and distance the first screen is inserted into the stem all affect performance too.

The results are really nice when you get your technique down; the Lil Bud is for sure more of a finesse vape though. The Fury 2 and Fierce you can hand to anyone and once you show them how to turn it on they get good clouds just drawing on it without having to learn anything but what temps they like best.

I prefer the vapor quality of the Fierce but the Fury 2 heats up and extracts more quickly and so easy to pocket since it's so small and light.

Greetings! Does anyone have any experience with the quartz tank with their Fury/2? I bought a Fury clone (Snap) and it came with a few accessories, one of which is the tank. It has a small (red) rubber multi-tiered ring on top of it, part of which recedes into the tank and the top of the ring seats on the top rim of the tank, similar to the way the o-ring/screen works for a comparison. I assume it's for concentrates as I know about the concentrate pads (and have one too which I've haven't yet used) but I could be wrong. Any comments or advice on the tank is appreciated.

BTW the Fury/2 rocks! :peace:

No such accessory with mine? Maybe it's a clone thing? Does it look like any of the stuff on the HR site?

No, I just looked. Picture a glass dosing capsule minus the top and instead a slender rubber ring around the rim and then receding depthwise a bit into the tank/capsule.
