Discontinued Haze Square

The SS pods seem to retain heat better, there's no coating flaking off.

I haven't used my aluminum pods since I got my SS ones to be honest. I'd have to switch back to see if there's any noticeable difference. It's been weeks since I switched.

Sorry that's not a super thorough comparison

Imo I don't see noticable difference to effect from ss pods....mine didn't stay nice looking long....got dark spots on bottom a nd inside bottom as well...noticed that some herbs go quicker with ss due to heat retention.....on the fence both get me high....and to me that's all that matters......:smug:

Hi everyone: I just got my base replaced again (the ceramic oven was broken). Haze gave me a completely new one because they're amazing like that. When I got it back, the heating coil would start up but then it would fade off and seemed to stop heating. I got some advice from Haze and it turns out that you really do need to pack the pods very tight and full. Once I did that, it began working like a charm. I'm hoping this will be helpful. I just love this thing and Haze couldn't have been better about helping me out.

Thanks! They've been amazing. I'm waiting on tenterhooks for Baby to come home!

She's home!

I’m yet to try this packing really tight. But it’s all I hear lately. I wish I could try it have to wait a few more weeks.

Will the micro dose pods need to be packed the same?

I never packed my Dual V3 tight. Ever.

Hi people. My square is acting a bit wierd... the other day it started flashing red light and vivrating after using it.. thought it was overheating alert cause it eventually stopped but today i woke up to the vibrating noise... and it wont stop even charging it.. I left home to work with the vape vibrating.. Any similar cases? or maybe @Haze Vaporizers now whats going on...?

It means the firmware was old and you left it on the charger for extended period of time. Sent you a PM

Going on the topic of charging. Even with the new firmware, I never leave it hooked up for more than 5 minutes when finished. Thing charges so fast anyways.

I haven’t used mine in a while. And i put it away fully charged. I think the battery has been depleting itself slowly. Is that a regular thing? Or am I cracked out?

Regular batteries lose their charge if stored longer than a month ( assuming they were charged fully before hand)

My Square makes a buzzing noise when shut off so it's definitely depleting the battery when not in use. It does charge fast so it's not a huge issue.
I believe it should not make a noise if the unit is powered off.

Did you upgrade your firmware to version 59

Yeah my unit has updated firmware. I had received it back from Haze and they replaced the battery and oven part of the Square. My first unit didn't make the noises but this one does. Oh well. Works better than my first one so it's a minor gripe.

I had a phase I unit that had issues that were worked out but then just died. Haze sent me a new one.

Thoughts:

My old one produced big clouds after a couple full heat up hits. The new one produces small to medium clouds but on all hits and seems to extract better than first unit.

But..I have to run it at 430. Its not an issue. I do believe that there is probably a large difference in actual temps of 2 units set at 430.

Overall really happy with the new unit. It seems to require much less technique than my phase I.
