All those (beautiful!) carbless stems made me wonder if I'd like it also. Let's try it out...

Edit: Wow I'm blowing out big clouds like a rapper in a stereotypical music video (well...without all the golden chains, liquor, and dollars). It's nice to have a carbless option.

I cant wait for my PS mini to get here... on the waiting list
You just made my impatience worse....hahaha

My SJK China IH is doing the job in the meantime
Not portable though...

Where did your glass piece come from?....nice

That glass stem and the one you can just see a portion of in the third picture are from @davesmith. I've bought 4 from him and will buy a few more in the future. You probably noticed that one changes color yellow/red depending on light source. I like this seller a lot, maybe my favorite.

Guys, I need your suggestion! I just receieved my Dynavap M on Saturday and I have been playing with it since. Now, I am using the Honest Single Flame Butane Lighter sold by PIU, by the flame stays on for about 2 seconds after i release the trigger as well as it gets very hot after a single use. So my first question is:

(1) What is a great single flame torch that won't stay on after I release the trigger. From my research, JetLine is a great brand as well as Honest. The thing is, my current experience with Honest was not that good, even though it was a 4.99$ torch. I was going to look into purchasing the JetLine Phantom Single Flame for $15 + $10 shipping (http://www.jetlinelighter.com/shop/phantom-single-flame). What do you guys think? Looking into not spending more than 30-40$ on a Single Flame Torch, and I want it to be good quality. I am using high quality butane as well.

(2) My second question would be which method do you guys tend to use relating to the carb. The first technique is people say they cover the carb and treat it like a pipe (only release the carb when it is time to clear the chamber). The second technique is to constantly feather the carb as you hit the device. And the last technique is to keep the carb completely open and do a slow, easy pull throughout the whole draw. I do want big clouds but I find that using the carb closed / feathering sometimes tickles my throat and makes me cough.

Thank you guys very much.

1) The flame may continue for 2 seconds because you have it on too high a setting-that's what mine do when the flame is too big. Try dialing the flame 'length' back a bit and see if that stops the problem.

2) Try all three and see which works best for you. Did you really expect any other answer. We're all a bit different, so see what works best for you, your strain, and any other variable that may affect how you want to imbibe.

The Good New? All three techniques work.

And if the vapor is a bit hot and harsh, you can have lots of fun with vapcaps through water pieces or j hooks that allow monster hits and cooler vapor. That's about the only way I use my vapcaps anymore-through a good water piece.

1) turn the flame smaller

2) try the mouth pull technique

3) read the best of thread

I have actually been playing with all 3 and I can't determine which is the most preferred. I guess I'll play with it for another week and see how it goes. Other then that, I've been loving it. And as for the torch, I'll lower the flame a bit. Thanks for the advice.

I googled the mouth pull technique but I couldn't find which thread it was. If you could, please eloborate on that technique? I'm continueto google it so if I find it in the meantime, I'll let you know. Thank you very much.

I will also be reading the best of thread for Dynavap (I think thats the thread your talking about).

Did you happen to get a Fat mouthpiece with your M? If you did you can use that to put over the M's mouthpiece and then pair it with a 14mm J Hook or bong.

And definitely read the best of: the Empress of the Dynaverse @Squiby has amazing advice for vapcappers. You might try her hemp fiber technique to use as a filter-some folks swear by that for keeping irritants to a minimum.

I've found that I use all three techniques frequently-it depends on so many different variables that I would never say there's a best way to use the vc all the time.

I was going to place an order to the 14 fat mouth piece in a week. Since I got the MM o Saturday, I was going to order the mouth piece next week .

I def want to get used to.getting fat hits without a mouth piece because IIm going to be using this as my main portable device. But I am still using it at home so I'll def use the water piece combo at home when I do get the mouth piece .

As for the torch, it stopped staying lit once I lowered the fuel output. Thank you for the advice . I'm still looking for a better torch tho as in higher quality. I'll read that lighter thread someone else posted.

Question to you owners of Omni and Standard condensers:

Do you also have a better airflow with the Standard one compared to the Omni with the carb umcovered and the Omni condenser set to fully open? I was quite surprised to find out, after nearly exclusive usage of Omnivaps for months, that at least one of my Vapcaps with Standard condenser gives me much more airflow.

Is it because I am stoned right now? Or is that real? Same grind, both Vapcaps clean, same TI tip. Strange. I did not think that the Omni might reduce the flow...

Did you adjust the flame size to its minimum when you filled the lighter? I forgot to do that one time and the lighter didn't work properly because of that.

Thanks for your informative reply @Squiby :)

The same day I got it, there was no airflow otherwise at all, the flat tip just pulled flush against the flat inside of the cap and sealed shut.
Huge difference, I've been assuming the lack of grooves was a fault because it doesn't work without them, with them it's awesome.

@Skunkport yeah it bugs me really because the grooves are obviously important for airflow. I'd imagine like 90% of M customers would gladly pay the extra cost for these grooves. To me it seems like George's way of getting people to upgrade to the Ti tip. I'm not paying like 2/3 the price of my M for a Ti tip lmao. I filed some large grooves into mine today. I think it's better to have too much airflow and have to draw slower, than to have too little airflow and be stuck with it.

I'll post pics of my mod and type up a review in a week or so.

For me, a direct lung pull irritates my throat and lungs and causes me to cough. By lung pull, I refer to to inhaling vapor directly into my lungs.

But a mouthpull technique, creates a smoother, cooler, non irritating vapor. To mouthpull, cover the carb with your finger and pull a puff of vapor into your mouth. Imagine that you are drawing liquid into your mouth from a straw, it's the same manoeuvre. Once the vapor is in your mouth, open your mouth and inhale the vapor along with fresh cool air.

Coupling a mouthpull with a degummed hemp fiber filter will create an even smoother vapor as the filter stops any tiny plant particles from entering the vapor path.

Check out the links in my signature below for more detail.

@Squiby how do you place the hemp fiber in a SS tip when there's only one screen position?

What rain Delay?,
happy days.

Right now-that combo right there is my favorite way to use my vapcaps. @DDave Water Wands have saved the vapcap for me. I was really struggling using them natively or even anyhydrously in j hooks this summer due to allergies. They hit me the hardest in that regard; my solo, LB, and Milaana don't get me the way vapcaps do.

But now, every night, and some weekend afternoons, I really enjoy my vc's through my Water Wands and that bubbler. The mouthpiece offers great taste, that piece really cools vapor down nicely, and the water is filtering most of the irritants from affecting my lungs.

And my :2c:: using those wands and that bubbler extracts better than other way that I've tried my vapcaps including PPs "Sip & Dip" technique.

I too was surprised to find this when i recieved my first omni condenser.
A wide open omni has less airflow than a regular condenser. This is because the omni condenser, at its shortest length, is still 2/3mm longer than a standard one.
You can see this at the tip end. The omni condeser sits more flush with the body, therefore sticks into the tip more...

@mrb: Thank you very much! I was sooo close to think that I overdosed myself today. Now I know that everything's okay and my inner world is still in line with the outter world.

But I wonder: Did George ever communicate why they have chosen to go that path with the Omnis? I would have expected everything from wide open to fully closed, but not something in between. But fully closed does not work too, as we all know. Strange decision...
