I really like my new (most likely Wenge 
) XL stash, but I need to open up the VC side a tiny amount to fit my XL vong. I am planning to just use a dowel and some sandpaper as it really only needs very little opening. My question is whether Wenge dust might be an irritant and should I do it outside to be sure or is Wenge no worse than other wood dust?
I got if for and will mostly use my Ti Omni in there, but I may well want to switch them out now and again, so why not.

Better safe than sorry. I have luthier friends who've had issues with Cedar dust. And I've known of at least two who've had to stop building because of it.

Allergies/Toxicity: Although severe reactions are quite uncommon, breathing Wenge wood dust has been reported to cause central nervous system effects, abdominal cramps, irritation of the skin and eyes, and is a sensitizer. Also, Wenge splinters tend to take longer to heal and are more likely to go septic (get infected) than splinters from other woods. This is the most important part of the information. repeated exposure will make symptoms worse and the person more sensitive. Cocobolo and Rosewood are also Sensitizers.

I have to wear a mask all the time when I'm working with Exotics. It's a very serious concern to sensitize yourself as it sensitizes you to more than one species even though you're only dealing with one.
I have a natural sensitivity to yellow cedar and any time my dad cuts that wood in the shop it causes me to sneeze, my eyes to burn, extreme sinus pain, I get nausea, dizziness, and the smell is foul to my nose.
Wood can contain some serious toxic compounds, the tree has to defend itself against insect and animal attack.

@Dutch-Mic try taking an anti-inflammatory like bromaline an enzyme which helps with swelling and promotes tissue repair.( ask your stockist) even Omega - 3 are excellent for your condition.
I've heard from the pros a theory that Magnets produce higher levels of anti-inflammatory white blood cells., perhaps you can try using your Dynastash Magnets.

So, I wish there was a way to quantify this but it will be interesting anecdotally to see how much better the QC may be on the later shipped product. I would expect after the complaints started that procedures would change at least a little. We KNOW they listen to us, and this would provide a good example of that.

User Review: Lotus Citadel Flat Flame Torch purchased from Dynavap.com
Aesthetics: The lighter has an all metal housing and feels very solid in my hands, no loose or rattling parts. The fit and finish is superb, matte anodizing is even and looks fairly resistant to light scratching. There is a fold-out cigar punch located on the bottom which must be opened to access the fill port. Gas adjustment dial is small but easy to adjust. There is a small window on one side to check for butane level. The button is big, a little spongy, butane is released before the piezo is actuated and it ignites every single time. The piezo click makes a softer sound than most butane torches and the flat flame only makes a whisper that is not audible from more than a few feet away.
That flat flame though: This uses a modified single jet, there is no hole in the middle of the jet and the flame passes through a metal plate directly above it which shapes it into a flat flame. Gas consumption is similar to a single jet torch but the tank is not very big – I have been refilling every 2-3 days.
Performance: Take out your wallets and buckle your seatbelts, this might be the holy grail of torches. I have tested this on just about every possible configuration and bowl size with parts readily available from dynavap, along with custom made carb-less stems. The flame is soft and does not shoot out very far so I hold the cap about ¼” away from the bright blue part of the flame. Heating times are similar to an inline double torch. With the flat flame parallel to the cap and held right in the middle you will get at least 5 cycles of very flavorful and evenly heated hits that I did not think was possible with my vapcaps, I still wonder how I get these huge tasty clouds and the load looks like its barely been heated. Those chasing even more clouds will find that holding the flame perpendicular to the cap will give you even bigger hits but less heat cycles, pointing at the N on the dynavap logo gave me more vapor than I could handle in one long bong rip, it was more like 3 super huge hits – this did consume the whole bowl in the first heat cycle. I don’t have a quad torch to compare this to but I have singles, doubles, triples and Pipe’s IH – this produces the most even ABV from top to bottom of the chamber, most consistent and best flavor out of those.
Pros: Well made, fuel window, sips butane, the gentle heating produces super tasty vapor, gives you consistent and effective heating control
Cons: I laughed and then I cried when I first saw the price ($120). This may not be the best torch to use in the wind because the flame does not shoot out out as strong as a regular torch. It gets a little too warm for group use, maybe 2 peeps at the most. Would be nice if it came with a soft carry case, the hard case it came in was just a cheap jewelry type clamshell.
Comments: I ordered this torch during the 4/20 madness mainly because I wanted an IH and the wait times were long. I got lucky and found a used IH after I ordered this and they both arrived on the same day. I’m not gonna lie, I was instantly in love with the IH and did not even want to use another torch but I promised a review so I made myself use it and so glad I did. The flavor comparison and the even/gradual change to the color of the ABV after each heat cycle really says it all as far as this flat flame torch goes, it can’t be beat by anything I currently own. I love my IH but if you don’t mind the torch ritual and this is in your price range you won’t be disappointed in the least. As expensive as it is, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another if I needed to replace it.

I was in on the early Crowd Funding when the glass OG and Pyrovap was the full selection. Then the Dynastash came along and the explosion of titanium modularity.
The product concept appealed to me. The fast manual heat up, it's tiny size and a stepped up efficiency was a refreshing change from the battery laden, cord tethered options available. I also really loved the high aesthetic value and the modular possibilities.
But what really sealed the deal for me was George's honest, generous, forthright style and open communication. From the start, George has demonstrated a level of Customer Service unrivaled by my decades of consumer experience, barr none. Anyone who has read this thread has learned of the wonderful acts of kindness he has offered to those unfortunate enough to lose or break their Vapcaps. Anyone who has read George's posts or watched his live feeds is aware that he consistantly looks to improve our experience by understanding our wants and desires. This is the company and the man that I want to do business with.
There have been bumps and hurdles along the way and George has navigated each of them with grace, patience and humility. I can see no reason whatsoever to expect anything less moving forward. Any quality issues will be addressed, corrected and then some. Just wait and see.

How many loads would you say you did in those 2 to 3 days? On another note, I've posted on here before about my difficulty with my LE 7 fin tip's sensitivity to heat. I have barely been able to make use of a triple torch with it since I got it because it would scorch the load with almost every triple I tried. I had assumed it was just a characteristic of the tip and moved on trying to adjust to it, and never considered whether the cap might have been an issue. Last night it seemed like my cap was taking longer than normal to click, though not really browning the load more than normal but I went ahead and switched it for a different cap. It has pretty much solved my heating problems. I am not having to hold the cap 2 to 3 inches from the triples anymore with this cap. I still have to hold it a BIT further than I had to hold my old gen 3, but there has been no problem with using my new Poseidon torch I got during the 420 sale which before today I had put away as a failure. So, I guess the cap I got with my LE tip was just a little slow to click, or something. I'm not really sure what was going on with it. But I'm glad I have more workable heating options now.
