Well, I have returned from the family trip to Kalifornia to visit family and friends. After spending a hour catching up to the posts for that last 5 days, I would like to share my experiences with the old M and the new M18. We visited 2 friends that I acquainted vapcaps to and they are both proud owners of woodies and love them. My bil is a confirmed smoker and has been reluctant to adopt vaporizing. He is relegated to the shed to smoke. I introduced him to M at our visit. I like to heat the tip from some nice terpene flavor and then on to the cloud faze. He was so impressed that he was going to order one on the spot. I gifted him my last M17. My sis had to laugh about the last time she saw us before we left. Sitting on lawn chairs vapcapping. After much study, I would say that vapcap has hit a home run with the new M18. I liked the 17 for out about but my heart belonged to my omni. With the new M18, the tip seems to be very close to the omni as to the way it heats and the air flow that rivals my omni setup. The M18 is a huge step forward. I can see people being satisfied with the M without feeling the need for more. I know, this is sacrilege. If only they would come out with a purpose made MXL18....:peace::leaf:

totally agree that the new 18 rivals the omni.

I just had an interesting half hour. I first stalked my mail carrier.

When I found her I had a very interesting conversation. She said she'd been waiting for me. I responded kind of petulantly "it's not everyday". She said no but today you had to sign. Because we have a long driveway and mostly miss giving the signature she wastes time on signature required deliveries. However since I had a specially @phattpiggie designed package coming it was good all around!

I immediately unpacked, which was a fun experience I'll leave a surprise.

I then tried out a worlds first bowl with extra heat fins? I dunno but that blue cookies tasted Divine!

Sag, that's great news about your friend and the gifting! I can't wait to try the M18!

LOVELY PP stem you got there man.
Nice understated shape, and the extra fins look good, and presumably provide great grip at the front.
Length looks great too (how long is it?)

I've recently started turning some stems of my own, and my favoured length is around 100mm (falls in the middle between the regular Dynavap and XL in length).
I suspect your stem is a little longer though?
Looks great at that length, with the metal tip end though, visual balance is just right imo.

Thanks it's great ma! It's 13 cm is about 5 inches long. What length of the various models do you know?

Just tried a TI tip on my M18 and I am in love. To be honest - I don't necessarily need an Omni condenser. I just loved the metal mouthpiece because I don't like wood at my lips. I don't adjust the airflow anyway. Either free flow or carb hole. Airflow is excellent with this combo, taste is great, vapor production is as expected, whole feel is sturdy and nice. To anybody still hesitating: Get that M18 + free TI tip offer. It's unbeatable!

Yes, I guess one is either a SS tip fan or not. I only use the SS tip when using a water tool and would prefer the TI tip anytime for all other usages. It's great that we all are a bit different and still in love for the same thing.

Concerning the wood at my lips - I saw that coming. Haha, another fit occasion... ;)

I agree. It's been my favourite VC combo almost since the M was first released. It's robust, simple and easy to maintain.

The current deal by Dynavap is surprisingly awesome. And that's saying something for a company that is so routinely awesome.
