Sounds very ... true!

Cheers.

There's a little Greece everywhere, right? Grease as well!:brow:

And you 've just became the godfather of the series.
The greek word for " tool " is "εργαλείο" ( erghalio ) and comes from the word "έργο" ( ERGO )
which means work / task / doing /deed .

The ERGO VapCap Titanium stem series.
I like it .

Cheers.

This post is perfect when read in the voice of the father from My Big Fat Greek Wedding!

Saturday today ,had some free time at evening ...
Was raining ,anyway .Not much will to do something outrdoors.
So,I've made a new stem .

" Ergo Series / : Twin End Twister "
Carbless - XL ( 80 mm long ) - Titanium grade 2

Needs some cleaning at the ultrasonic cleaner .
And a mouthpiece ,of course !

Tomorrow I'm going to make a Titanium mouthpiece for that stem.
The mp will also serve as a CCD setting tool .
( 15 mm out of the stem / 10 mm inside the stem / double o-rings )

Cheers.

This would be purely aesthetic , or would there be an added functionality ? I imagine it would absorb some of the heat transferred from the tip to the wood stem .
@Summer , I believe this will be like a titanium collar that goes into the stem and the tip . Just to add some more of that bling that @ataxian is always referring too :)

And the carbless Titanium stem " Ergo Series / : Twin End Twister " ,
is finished !

( Already one FC member has shown his interest for the stem. )

Here's a pic as a complete unit
( total length-without cap :120,5 mm from tip to mp or ~12 cm )

Some details .

An expanded view of this VapCap unit .

And it's mp ,that serves also as a CCD setting tool.

Cheers.

:drool: . Sorry , couldn’t find words . If you need access to my bank account and my address hit me up :D . Beautiful work on this !!!!!

It would not be only for purely aesthetic reasons .
It will extend the stems extended length and provide a section for better grip .
Anyway ,it's still just another idea.

Cheers.

Nothing wrong with that . Let that be why vapcap and vapcap related items are so great . You can constantly change them . Whether it’s for form or function . What type of textures were you thinking on these extensions ??

This is the solution for an idea I had. You can use that idea to make a Lego body. One that it's made of multiple smaller parts to make whatever size you want.

I really like the detachable mouthpiece that also serves to insert screen. Pretty cool. Of note, it can get them in, but can't take the screen out. I miss seeing some color, too. I'm finally in a position where I can afford to get a stem now it's just wait until the one I want is available. :) Yay! I really don't mind waiting at all.

To everyone missing the pretty colors.. all my metal stems are torched red and dropped into some tap water to add a “ghetto patina” as my brother calls it. Just an option for you if you see a stem you like but wanna make it less shiny or add some darkness to is. one less step before it gets shipped out to you as well

Sorry if I'm repeating myself, but your work is just stunning. Each piece a jewel of craftsmenship of the highest rank and a jewel unto itself. And that each is one of a kind at this level. And watching you grow with your new lathe and tools. Museum quality.

Another stunning piece. Another dynajewel. Superlative craftsmenship, museum quality, in my humble opinion. The piece is a jewel unto itself, and then unique, one-of-a-kind. And you are exploring. It is beautiful to watch such beauty emerging. Like Summer, I prefer the tree bark and hammered "handmade" feel rather than the "machine-made". And as SDS knows, I prefer color--for me that takes it to another artistic dimension. Still, it could be the prototype for a high-end international line of pens or it could easily be something destined for the Museum of Modern Art. And we're going to use it for...! Thanks.

PS: Thanks for sharing your play with your new equipment and tools. Its fascinating watching your craft grow and evolve at such a rapid pace. Thank the Blessed Lord that we all discovered VapCaps!

PPS: And of course I didn't read sds's note above about doing some anodized pieces. My oldest friend has been an international silver dealer for many years. I'm tired of silver.

Yessssss. I lust greatly for one of these. Although that one doesn't appear to have a hole for a lanyard/keyring like I'm hoping the eventual ones he's ready to sell will have
Honestly I really do like full bowls and add high as my tolerance is. I've impressed my great friend/plug! However I've been trying to cut back but I'm still not at the point of partial bowls yet!

I only ever set mine to full bowls too, but it'll be nice to have a really portable way to set and unset screens. I have something I use at home from a tool set but it's not ideal for carrying about. One of those I could slide on my keyring and it wouldn't really add any bulk and would be completely inconspicuous
