Discontinued MistVape Touch

Andreaerdna

If God is the answer, then the question is wrong
Regarding price, while I certainly WOULD pay more for it, i like it being able to be kept at a super affordable low price cost. The average IMO for most solid vapes puts you at the 150 range and while I don't disagree that I would pay that for this, I think the fact that the vapor quality/device far outshines its price point is a really really good thing. That said; I already have mine :) so I am biased but in a realm of niche products that are 99% of the time are marked up quite a bit, it really tickled my fancy how Dave didn't rape any of us  sets him apart from majority of pack. This isn't a knock on the vapor pack, just super good vibes to Dave!

Just want to add that some peaple some times like to be price raped, so a thuya burl something something version with golden nuts could cover it.

Staying around 100 will help not only mist vape business (look at VC) but also will help to spread vape love all over rather than creating a self extinguishing snob niche :2c:

I think I get more overall extraction through water, but could just be the strain is darker than what I been using prior to water testing. I am smashing half bowls in about a minute total, 2 hits, sweeet. It is super duper cashed when I'm done. First hit tastes great; second hit not so much but expected by color of my avb. It looks very dark. My jar of dry avb that is mostly MistVape is definitely a smidge lighter than my average. I know color doesn't equal extraction and I'm always plenty high after using dry but the water has been enjoyable and definitely getting higher temps than I could dry even with my lungs lol

I was gonna say more testing but I actually need to cool it for a bit  got off work at 2 and it's been a very very relaxing day

Got some new stems, now I have green, blue, black and amber. I've gone to 14/20 joint size as it leaves the end a little thicker after it is drilled out.

Here is the green one in a vial getting loaded.

The stem fits into the vial and you can inhale to pull the herb into the stem. The stem and vial fits into a two or four position battery case. I always keep a spare loaded stem at the ready, you never know when you might need one.:)

@XiolaOne it is 34 watts, I'll let the others respond to the inhale speed but I would say medium speed is fine.

@Shit Snacks I'll probably cut most of the colored stems but if anyone wants a longer one I can do that. I only ordered a half dozen of each color and will try to keep stock on them.

Niiiiiice! The extra thickness is awesome and the color selection is great too, will you offer long stems as well for home use?

Feel free to send me a black shorty, glass vial, long blue stem, and 4 batt case along with my green shorty btw

How strong is the heater on the Touch? Can you inhale normally or do you have to inhale super slow?

Normally is subjective, the answer is yes you can draw slow or fast, but will depend on what temps you want and how you pack (and can cover portholes too). It is definitely "strong"

Many vapes & accessories. Always happy to help
Received my Touch today - super fast shipping despite the holidays.
Haven't had the chance for a test ride yet - but already an important question:
What way do I need to insert the batt? And is there a reverse polarity protection or would I risk frying the device?

Thanks my friends.

A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU

Positive side up. Be sure to take your unit into a dark closet or something and press down the button for about 6 seconds to see the glow of the coil. pretty hard to see during the daylight unless the coil is red hot.

if you put it in positive side down it will continuously stay on which is a no go.

Still nice to get some great accessories! Can't wait to test them out, the amber stem catch my eyes!

With the time I developed an instinctive way to use my Touch without any akward counting, don't stir anymore except one time before the end. Rotate the stem is still necessary in order to get an even brown abv.

The Touch is very soft with batteries I never took it one out which was warm even after a 10 hits session while still depleted!

And I still need to test the production unit!

Can't swear they will be cheaper, but if shipping is $0.40 (forty cents) to the middle east, I would imagine that shipping to Canada will also be reasonable.

Warning, I have been told that shipping can take 2=4 weeks. Maybe buy one battery local and wait for additional set(s).

Good Luck and Happy New Year.

First usage quick report:

Used a ddave 14mm Milaana stem a basket screen.
Began to draw while "touching", released after <5 s. Nice taste and light clouds. Tried again, but only 1-2 secs touching. Nice clouds! Next time I fired for 3-4 secs and BOOM charring/combustion. Disgusting.. Coughed like hell. Had to stop the session due to heavy respiratory irritation..
Weew. Didn't see that coming. But great to know it has the power to kill some stuff easily.

Well, it's obvious that the stock stem differs from Dave's rimmed Mi stems. The screen is up the joint, ddaves is much closer to the heater plus has a metal brim that conducts heat more than glass, at least faster.
So my second try this morning was to connect it to my Orbiter.
A wonderful match!!

5 secs trigger time while drawing slowly, then one two on, three four, off.... Etc. While maintaining draw speed. 4 cycles. Load still green.. no charring of course. Did rotate the unit after 2 cycles some 60 degrees. Micro dose maybe 0.025.. I'm pretty much feeling it. Nicely medicated.

@mistvaporizer Dave, what a wonderful device. This is just the beginning. Am sure orders will keep you busy for quite a long time... Might get even worse when people hear about this. :p:D;)

I'm usually not one who's all in for bells and whistles, but I thought it would look cool plus be useful to have a switchable led to illuminate the stem somehow. Would be nice to see the vapor forming and streaming thru the stem. For water hits like I did, it gives a nice visual feedback and easy understanding when to let off etc.
Did this with a flashlight and it was easy to see and prevent charring. Nice to learn about the touch and battery behavior this way without ruining the tasty learning curve:)

Love and peace

Been Lurking on this one for a while now.

I'm in ( Well, I've just sent Dave an email)
Decided want one as I like the simplicity of the device (like the Milaana) I think manual vapes is where it's at.

It's also a lovely looking vaporizer that looks as if it performs very well.

I here you. In my eyes you just can't beat a properly working manual vaporizer. While I do think a good regulated device is needed in groups. Especially if there's even 1 person who is new to the whole vaporizing idea. It only takes 1 person to ruin the taste of a clean stem and screen. Or load.
But in the hands of people who are experienced in these matters it's hard to beat. I've been on the outside looking in on this for a while now.

I can't say enough how much I love the price and the whole way you have approached launch of the Touch Dave.

These colored stems fit great! They look even better!:)
The walls are thicker and the tips are super smooth!
The little vials are awesome for super fast loading. They both fit perfect in the battery case too!

Wow, I wouldn't of thought so, but I love the black stem. That looks great in the mist.
