Can someone help me? I ordered a Ti Carbon over 2 and half weeks ago (which is a good while but that's fine) and then I emailed DynaVap 5 days ago and have yet to get a reply. Am I missing something? I wouldn't be surprised if I am. I realize it's around the holidays as well as the fact that DynaVap is upgrading their Titanium tips. But come on, ya know? Not even a quick email? At this point I'm pretty annoyed and just want a refund. Oh yeah I also ordered a torch and a DynaStash as well. Any and all help is really appreciated.

In the same boat here mate, ordered on black friday, emailed them about a week ago following up (because the website changed and my purchase info disappeared) and no reply. Still trying to keep the faith though

@Hogni Die vapcap ist ein sehr gutes Gerät und Sie können alles in ihm verdampfen.
Wie ich schon sagte, bevor ich die meiste meiner deutschen Sprache vergessen habe, ist google translate mein neuer Freund.

The Omni only comes with a Ti MP, perhaps in the future George will be able to engineer a wooden one which allows the condenser adjustment.

A fellow countryman of yours did this 510 mod, as I said when horst first posted this, it looks perfect.

Today I stumbled upon an unused mouthpiece and wondered if I could mod it to fit my Woody...

Quite happy with the result. Acts as a nice counterweight, too.

Meinen untertänigsten Dank, der Herr! ;)

Here in Germany there is a pipe maker who makes really nice MPs for e-cigs out of ebonite for a reasonable price (around 20-30 €).
Whats the diameter of the bodies and stems? Perhaps I would order one MP.
Up to now there is no vendor in Germany for DynaVap products. Perhaps I should order one in the US? :hmm:

The OmniVap Burl has such a big and nice smile in his face....very appealing

Well, it finally happened. I'm shocked to say the least.

I've had to reduce the bowl size! This thing is forcing me to consume less!

Either my tolerance has taken an uncharacteristic sudden nose dive (I certainly havent been taking a break), or the Ti vapcap is a damn fine extractor! :)

@Hogni The wood is 10mm outside diameter and 8mm internal. It would be worth waiting until you have one before you place an order with the pipe maker, at least they will understand what they need to do if they can see and touch one. They only need the wooden body and have no need to see the Ti tip or cap.

Vaposhop in Amsterdam and Vapefiend in London only have the OG versions at the moment, so yes an order for the Ti from the States will be necessary.

Yep.

@jimfish4130 The internal bore is tapered so the VC doesn't fit as is, I shaped a small piece of silicone tube to suit this taper, I will be getting some different Viton O rings for it. There is no carb but it worked just fine with my current tip.
Once my order arrives I'll know more on how the new tips function and if no carbs are needed to get good results then I'll look into buying some other antiques.
The Agate one I did has a small Teak adapter with the carb in it, similar to the Deco Glass one I bought. I wanted to keep the Gold and Stone one as simple as possible and not spoil the lines.

This one would look good with a small properly proportioned Blackwood adapter fitted in the hot end. It's 2 different ambers with a piece of jet.

Hogni not all the amber ones I've seen are actually amber but are bakelite made to look like it. Totally agree on the way a piece of ancient amber would look against the modern Ti.
I've been looking at the really fat ones in the hope I can get one for a triple cap set up.

Hi mine came today in Belgium!

I tried mine twice but I think I combusted. Is it normal that I hear a double click? I hear a silent one and then I stop heating it. A louder click follows about 1.5 seconds later. The first time I heat up I barely get no vaper, then the second heating it always combusts. I wait for the cooldown click too.

@yekezil 2 clicks is normal. You can heat to the second click or wait for it as you've been doing.
Set your torch to half power and try again, a closed carb will give thick vapor, if you heat around the DY area on the cap you will get a quicker click and less likely to have a bush fire.

..think I combusted..

When extracting at higher temps (second+ hit, lower cap heating,.. ), you will indeed get a more roasty flavor -'burnt popcorn'. I've learnt to love these often potent hits :) This is not combusting yet.

This is indeed a bit confusing a first.. but combustion.. you won't 'think' you've done it.. you'll KNOW.

Just keep respecting the clicks (yes, 2 clicks for heat-up, 2 for cooldown. Think of it as a backup ) until you get the hang of it and know how your piece works, then start making little adjustments to your technique and timing to find what works best for you.

Okay thanks! I bought the torch with 3 flames so it's kind of all over the cap. Maybe I'll try holding the cap further away from the flame because mine heats up rather quickly, about 3 seconds.

So the cap and the tip are the parts that do most of the magic, it seems. Has anyone tried using just the tip and cap? Some silicone and you could toss it right into a water pipe or Sherlock, or so it looks to me.

Anyway, I'm definitely going to be getting one of these. Half the fun is deciding what to get. :)

I totally agree. It doesnt really make sense to order a tip NOW.

Bro, I'm coming from the home of amber. Its 200 km to the East Sea. Its getting less but there will be found a lot of amber up to now.

Today the main prob is pressed amber

I would prefer a short MP with an elegant line and a small wrist (sounds sexy, eyy?)
For the ti I would use a colour similar to the front end on your pic may be a bit darker.
For the blackwood a lighter one, perhaps a little bit darker than the backend on your pic, seems to me most harmonically.

I heat in around this time and use only the tip of the outer blue flame. The quicker you heat, the way more chance you have of over heating.

....And Daisy has just been passed on to a friend. She sits alone and ignored in a corner since getting the Ti, someone else may as well get the use out of her. I've moved on!

About a count of "one one thousand" up to three is generally where I get the click. IF ALWAYS respect the click I don't combust. I have found one instance where I when started to use a new three-flame lighter (in triangle shape...not the inline three) the heat up time was very short and I didn't believe the click....so, yeah...it burned. But that lighter seemed to settle down quickly and I'm back to generally about "three one thousand" to the click.

I agree with the above...if you just "think" you combusted you probably have not as its a pretty unmistakable crappy taste! haha

Their like a surprise attack. Thick, thick vapor that you would swear was smoke, but it ain't.

@yekezil check your AVB as well. I have my new torch on high and the top of the torch body is 40mm from the cap.

@Diggy Smalls this is an adapter I made and have used as a stem, it's 28mm long, I think that once the VC got hot the silicone tube may not grip and it may pop rite out. The last thing want in your lap is a hot cap and tip. Or if you can find one that's the rite size you could use a short 14mm joint. This one's from my Xmax, I had 2 but only one worked.

@Hogni I would love to get some bits of raw amber big enough to be used for VC parts, there's also a lot of fake stuff about as well.
I pissed off a guy in Spain this summer when I picked up a necklace he had labelled as amber, it was way to heavy and he didn't like it when I called him out on it.
I've even asked Ebay sellers to test cigarette holders they have said were the real thing.
Glad to see you are getting into the Vapcap spirit, beware once the bug bites.......

@Kasish I couldn't cope lol, maybe get some green tea or other botanicals to perfect you technique with?

@phattpiggie

For sure you know the two test to recognize ral amber?

1) Rubbing on wool - amber would be electrostatically loaded

2) Use a lighter - hard resinof real amber would still burn (thats the source of the german name "Bernstein")

Arent you able to get real amber in your area for are reasonable price?

If not, I could look here (not directly in Berlin) for you.

Cheapest raw amber (but a lot of junk and fakes too) you will find in Poland and Lithuania

I can't believe that you bought that lighter and that stunning B&W Ebony S and then you tell us it's NOT being used? Oh, my good heavens. Are you mad man?

What a beautiful pair!

Legend has it that although Vapcaps are a gentle and accommodating breed, keeping a Vapcap idle with full exposure to a lighter, induces a sad and lonely charma.

WARNING: Whatever you do, DO NOT introduce some bud to that picture. This combination is said to induce insanity in humans and the only anecdote is to combine all three to create a vapor.:myday:

Hi guys - as you may have seen in past posts, I am one with my OGs but I'm still struggling with draw resistance on my Ti Woody and I have tried all suggestions to no avail.

So, I wrote to George and Matt and recapped the background on my situation and asked if, in their opinion, the new in house Ti tip and cap would resolve my issues.

Well, Matt just wrote back and they tested a tip and cap with a body, they think it worked very well, and they are sending me that tested set. I'm really looking forward to it as I would dearly love to get my Ti Woody working well and in the rotation and I know it can be done based on the success all of you have had with them.

So, once again, @VapCap has come through with incredible commitment to customer service. You got to love these guys and what they do.

In return, I am a committed DynaVap supporter.:tup::clap::nod:

Or some legal hemp vaping flowers, like the ones that Vapefiend UK sell, or direct from Roo & Co.

By the way @Kasish , you dont have to answer this, Im just a curious fellow. But why can you not use it for a month? Are you taking homeopathy for 30 days like I have to 3 times a year, and unable to vaporize due to infection die off causing major lung congestion? And allergic to weed at the same time, making the 2 together a no no?

I suspect not, just had to ask though. You dont have to answer.

I want to take it on an airplane and afraid the wood might keep some smell.
