You have some options to choose from when considering using a Vapcap with a water device.

1. Any model of Vapcap from the glass OG, to the Ti tipped models, to the Omni that has a straight midsection- body or stem, will fit into a 14mm female connection if you take the fat mouthpiece and slip it over the mp end of the Vapcap. No other modification is required.

2. You can outfit or switch out the body of any ti tipped Vapcap model that has a regular length condenser with a 45mm long VonG body and mp. They come in 14mm or 18mm diameters. You can also choose a 62mm long stem without a mouthpiece. It Is 12mm in diameter at one end and 14mm at the other.

14mm and 18mm VonG Body.

3. If you have a ti tipped Vapcap that uses an XL condenser you can use the 62mm long VonG stem with a mp.

The best gifts come in small packages.

I tried using my Omnivap the other day, into that same small bubbler in your picture, using the fat mouthpiece over the metal one, into a 14 mm reducer, rather than with the 18 mm VonG.

It didnt seemmto be at all air tight. I had to press down into the moithpiece everytime but never got a seal the same as the VonG. It worked, maybe not as well. It may be the female joint and how that seals the fat moutpiece, I know some have had best results with a male joint, and to reach the carb easier.

What butane torches / lighters you guys using?

Anyone using anything fancy? I'm thinking about getting a St DuPont mini jet or maxi jet.

I am using only George's quad torch currently. The triple is hard for me to use due to hand issues. The quad is harder to pinpoint the flame on one section of the cap,, the triple can be turned so that a very specific point can be heated.

I have only just really got into the swing of using the vaporizer (Omni) the last few days. It has taken me a while to get into a routine, and used to the dosages and pattern etc so that it all just flows.. much to do with allergy management though for me and medicating right.

This morning I got the closest to combustion yet. Could not have got closer. It was a good load in the VonG and bubbler, but I had music on and didnt react to the click soon enough.

Vapor (or smoke) was gushing out before I took a drag, I knew I had done it. It was super thick, I just inhaled it anyway to see what it was like. I cant tolerate smoke at all. It was a huge hit. I exhaled quickly in case it was smoke. No immediate bad reaction anyway.

This is the load after that one hit:

There is a slight smell similarity I could pick up, but nothing to make me think I need to clean the Omnivap with iso. I have been aiming the quad flame so that the edge of it lines up with the bottom of the load/cap, and about half way in the outer flame.

The flame also hits the middle of the cap at the same time. I don't want to heat near the diggerouter until the click, but I also don't want to go near the tip too soon and cause an early click.
So I startbat the bottom and middle, after maybe 4 or 5 seconds I move to the middle for a few seconds, slowly moving to the tip when I am happy the whole load has been heated.

This is workning well for me. After he first heat cycle I tend to stick to the middle ajd can get consistent thick hits for 3 or more cycles.

The load above, I dont think it was actual smoke. It didnt really smell, it hasnt buggered my chest. It is as far as you can take it, schorching it, but a true one hitter.
Still, I will avoid!

Oh, amazingly you can still see the beautiful trichomes. Check it out!

My OG has a mouthpiece that is shy of 14mm and won't mate to a water tool. The Woody Ti S I got came with a fat mouthpiece that works with 14mm. The two silicon mouthpieces are different enough in size that it's noticeable by eye. I'm wondering if it's just a tolerance issue, or if the OG mp is actually supposed to be smaller than the fat one?

^^ That looks like some combustion to me.

The og and fat mp are supposed to be the same. There could be a tolerance issue between mp's but I had posted about this earlier. It could be your problem. The og mp mates with the tapered end of an ISO (14/23mm) female joint. If you have glass with the shorter US joint (14/20) the tapers ID is too large and the og won't fit it and will fall right through. Surprisingly I haven't seen this brought up at all

Yes I think that is correct. I noticed the water in the bubbler smells a bit like bong water.
I really couldnt be certain it was smoke from the taste and feeling, and it didnt affect my chest TOO badly.
Very different to conventional smoke. I havent combusted with a vaporizer for years until today. I'm going to be more careful when music is playing.

Yea I had a slight combustion event when I first got it. I wasn't sure because it tasted like popcorn but I charred the hell out of it at the very least. I think it being so air deprived keeps it from fully combusting even though those temps were obviously reached.

Yes, I think it's a tolerance issue. If I take the fat mp from the Woody, it mates fine to 14mm on either the Woody or OG (and the OG's MP falls through on either body). The fat MP is a cm longer than the OG one, and much wider also. This made me think there were two different versions of the silicon mouthpiece, because the two I have aren't even close in size.

Thanks for the post. I didn't even think about the difference between ISO and US joints. Good to know.

I've been vaping for five years
And have small, ish collection of vapes I've had the woody for about four days so still a noob .but I must say I'm very imprest it's so smooth you think your getting no vapour on inhale just flavour but no irritating heat in your throat and then you exhale a massive cloud very very smooth
And it's a wonderful pice of eye candy especially next to the vapstash
Back to it then ,it's a dirty job but some one has to do it
Shame

More and more I'm leaning on my tiwoody. When I first got my Grasshopper I was favoring it over the vapcap, but since I switched up screens and started being able to leave the carb open I am getting really attached to my vap. I don't ever have to worry about it malfunctioning, which my Grasshopper has done....so many times now. And it's so efficient. I think getting a dynastash has also influenced my opinion, it ties everything together just right.

I also have a hopper and it's a good vape but after 8months of use and constantly thinking is it going to fail I wanted a back up vape I've wanted a woody before the hopper even arrived so when it became available in the uk I orderd it straight away
Let's just say my. Hopper hasn't seen day light all weak I. Do like it but I find it very clinical
I like a vape to have some personality witch the woody defiantly has
I love wood

wow I take a couple day break from this forum and miss so much. @VapCap I love the new logo design, despite people's loyalty to the old one, the new one has a more futuristic feel and less of a prescription drug logo feel which I'm sure you don't want. the new logo on the cap looks much less like branding (which personally I try to avoid at all costs) and more like a design. The engraving on the tip relating to @marduk if F******* brilliant and adds a whole other level of customization where I just didn't think there were any more left. I'm sure in the future you would be able to implement a feature where users can just upload graphics of a certain size and have the machine do all the work.

@phattpiggie as always your stems are awesome, that glass one in your most recent video is crazy, but it looks liked there's no room for a condenser? anyway, the thin designs make me less satisfied with the ones I've turned myself. the VAS is real.

@Edmond Dantes That's correct there is no condenser. The glass body is the condenser. I love that glass stem and it's all possible because of this little B&W Ebony adapter.
7bFCfntm.jpg
WGX54DEm.jpg

These two don't have SS 'condensers' this time it's the wood body. The SS tube merely joins the two wooden pieces.

The condenser serves to be just that, reclaim condenses in it. Performance wise there is no need for one, I have discussed and agreed with someone on Reddit about this but they had deleted there posts when I last looked. I shall be doing some longer all wood stems, they will just need to be cleaned like any other wooden stem.

The Omni is the only VC which needs one but only for the adjustment side of things.

What another awesome week this has been. More planning, and some new 3d models on an upcoming project in the works. It is fun working on several projects at the same time as each stage has its own challenges and rewards.

So as we get more familiar with our laser, things are going well. Here is a batch of the our first laser cut caps.

IMG-20161019-WA0003_zpsirfbpvmc.jpeg

And then after the first lotus, a challenge presented itself.
And we accepted.

IMG_20161019_105236490_HDR_zpsonx9ggha.jpg

I thought the detail on the first one was good, then our new laser master Scott, did this.

So then today, it was time to try out the new logo on the cap.

IMG_20161021_210724614_zpsnfpwljh2.jpg

Here it is. Proportion wise it fits. I have been also considering the fact it is a bit cryptic. Kind of nice if it is on my shirt. People I don't want to know what it is are oblivious to its meaning. But those who know, well they are part of the Dynavap club.
As always, I would like to know everyone's thoughts.

Cheers,

George

I love the new caps and I LOVE THE NEW LOGO! I like how your focus has to shift to read it.

then our new laser master Scott, did this.

Engraving the top of the cap is genius. New possibilities for customization continue to evolve! The Vapcap just keeps getting better and better.

I preferred "good ol' warm tubey" logo at first. The new one looked angry to me due to numerous spikes and sharp edges.

the new logo on the cap looks much less like branding (which personally I try to avoid at all costs) and more like a design.

Maybe it's because I've already seen it, but the alternative logo seems very legible on the cap compared to the mockup posted a few days ago of just the text.

Now I see how it may fit the design, mimicking inconspicuous decoration pattern, while carrying a message for "those who know". The moment of recognition is pleasant ("I am smart, I solved the puzzle") and helps to memorize the brand. "Club sign" uniting effect is a godsend for any product promotion. One of the messages of the logo is "DISCREETNESS", which is highly demanded by vapers. It is smart logo choice overall and I am for the new logo now!

I prefer the rounded, smooth logo with the Made in the USA.

Styling may be polished though to reconcile both parties. @VapCap you may keep the idea of DISCREETNESS while round some edges. Harsh saw-like line in the heart of the logo may (should, I believe) be changed to a smooth wave. Your product is not digital, it is analog :) There is nothing like saw in the product or how it works/is used or recognized or accepted. But there are plenty of waves and smoothness around VC - vapor, flame, hot air, wood patterns, breathing, taste and hit, mood and high.

Implement the same "shape filling, pattern mimicking" approach with smoothness. Shift yin/yang balance of the product appearance towards to unisex zone. Spiky logo is too brutal, "heavy metal", male oriented. Girls prefer more gentle things. So it is safer to have an unisex logo. You may always do brutal VC of damask or feminine one of pink glass.

Alexei.

@VapCap :  Great job, your new laser cut caps seems premium quality !
Having the Laser unit, and the possibility to be able to be autonomous, sounds like a game changer!

About the new logo, I'm kinda vacillating.. Love the cryptic concept, really!
But I find it maybe too sharp, for the all round and smooth Vapcap curves :suspicious:
Edit: Yeah, just like Xelatsok .. ^^

Oh, and that Om/Lotus engraving .. You did it ! Absolutely mesmerizing :luv: Well done, Scott !!
Wicked !

:myday: Can't wait to see all these !

Edit bis:

Hey folks! Here is a Pinterest link were I will keep adding some designs for Caps laser engraving !

Not sure how clear cut the Vapcap Laser unit can run
