Tragedy has struck! Today I lost my dear Milaana while walking in the woods:cry::doh:.

Now I guess I have to go to Planet Vape, and pay a good bit more than us pre-order people...unless anyone else knows anywhere else, or someone wants to sell me an extra one...:hmm: yeah, riiiiight....

I've been having a problem with Mi that was described in a post that is several months old, but it looks like it fits my issue to a T:

My cap is getting hot and I think my battery is sitting lower than it used to, not sure since when or why exactly. I've tried pulling up the tab at the bottom as described, but not having any luck. Any advice as to a specific tool or technique that works well? Also, I'm not entirely clear what you mean when you advise to pull it up from the attached side. Does that mean the side closer to the heater? Also, it's counterintuitive to raise it up on the side that's attached, how does that work?

Thanks
I've made this repair multiple times. Youll need the right size hook tool to get under the battery contact. Apply pressure from underneath from the side that is closest to attachment point. Steady even pressure is necessary to raise it up to original position. The battery should be visible from a above by just o er a 1/16 or to where good contact is made.

Take a pair of Klein's or other pliers and bend a 1/4" 90° kink in a paperclip or some other rigid wire and fish it into the battery's spring deal and gently pull it up.

I've had to do it twice since April (was that when the first units shipped) or so.

Paperclip, or a piece of a wire hanger bent up like this works very well. A "dental tool" from my dab kit works best IMO. One of the ends was a 90 degree, so just bent it a little tighter with pliers. Very easy to get into battery hole and get a good hook on it for pulling. Doesn't slide off nearly as easily as the other two tools I've tried, so easier to put it where you want and apply that steady easy pressure.

Wait, you just lost it? Or did you drop it and it broke? Either way, bummer.

I like butane vapes.
Is there any way to make stems stick in a little better? I just got a green stem and it doesn't stay in at all, almost like it's just way to small of a male joint. Any ideas?

Lost it. Retraced my steps up and down the trail 5 times. Nothing. Then I REALLY "lost it"!

dang, where'd you have it stored, were you vaping on the trail (obviously yea :p). NM, sorry for asking, I know it sucks to relive painful experiences. Lets just try to forget this ever happened.

That's what was so weird. It was in the inner pocket of my jean jacket--at least I thought it was. I vaped while I was walking, put it back in my pocket, and sat down at the end of the trail to relax and vape, but it wasn't there...I can't believe I would have been so spaced out to set it down somewhere I stopped along the way.

Sorry to her that @OyVape. But can you imagine the dude that happens upon that vaporizer. After it sat out all fall, winter, spring, summer. Over and over until some lucky bastard saves her. Sure she'll be weatherd and maybe even have a crack in er body.
But seriously though I hope you get her replaced sooner then later.

If I ran across a milaana on the trail and had never seen one before I doubt I would realize it was a vape. But I'm sure some of you would have taken it home, taken it apart and figured it out.

@Shit Snacks thanks for the out of the box design in the spirit of the triplicate.

My feedback to @RBTCustomerService is to focus the design to look the best when branded on RBT designs, clean, simple (needs to be wood burned inside of a .75" circle and visible from a distance aka no fine detail) gently rounded, and also work in print. My other input of course is that it fits the brand and uses the triangle / element of 3.

Now, we are in a hurry as we need complete the logo and slogan by this coming Wednesday so that we can print a banner Thursday. On Friday, a crew will be here to film a promo video and we really want the logo and slogan to be part of the RBT Story...

So everyone quick! What are your final thoughts for @RBTCustomerService?

RBT Milaana, grass roots simple, a lifetime of mastery.

A huge shout out to RBT! My Mi arrived with the long stem stress cracked and he sent me two, a cobalt and an amber, they're beautiful and work great!

I'll get a pic or two up once I get the Clark's oil and wax on her!

Loving this vape, it truly is my portable Evo!
