ataxian how can you use the vapexnail for concentrates with a glass piece if the vapexhale is upside down? will it still work
I use the EVO QUARTS NAILS for SHATTER and HYDROTUBE.

COTTON with other devices.

I've this crazy addiction to SHATTER?
I try to focus on COLAS (FLOWER TOPS)

PENS and NAIL"S down to 3 x per day on concentrates.

I will test more tomorrow.
However the NAIL'S taste amazing so far!

Whips?
Never have I used one for SHATTER?

Not smart enough yet. :hmm:That's why I'm here first. :sherlock: Smart people talk to other smart people before making a key decision. ;) Want to know more about the internals and what I would have to go through to send one back. Yes, I've heard some things, but need to know more basic info and maintenance. Commen problems. Dealing with RMA's etc. Customer relations etc. Had too many RMAs with 5 different vape companies to ignore that possibility. Plus one FCer had a unit not fit right with their watertool. So the quality control needs a little more ratcheting for me to pull the trigger.

I'm not sure where you live, but if you're in the US I think you're probably best ordering the Evo through the Vapexhale website. My unit developed an overheating issue (it's about a year old) and VXL customer support was very patient, polite, and helpful. You have to pay for the RMA unless you have the platinum warranty (I have it, so I didn't have to pay), it took them about two weeks to get my unit returned to me fully functional, including the time it took to ship to the repair center and back. All in all a positive experience :).

I'm yanking your chain!

I am more of a risk taker than most?

My EVO taste very much to my liking!
I know I don't count however today before nap it knocked me out!

OK = CRYSTAL COOKIES = DEVASTATING
LEVEL = MIDNIGHT
FLAVOR + EFFECT = CIVILIZED

NAIL'S for WAX?
KILLER

STAINLESS STEEL BASKET'S blow GonG'S out of the water!
I did a cost analysis and at $300 it was lower cost in use than a Glass Adapter to use it!

It's worth it!
Don't know which chain you are referring too. :haw: I'm not smart at all, I just learn from smart people.
I'm less of a risk taker at a certain price or with a newer company. Plus waiting and seeing vape companies evolve, replacement parts and potential sales, in that order.

Glad you took a bigger risk than me earlier, and I can build on that. So you have a few units?

Very helpful actually especially your RMA experience. Yea just found out they are made in PA and CA according to Vaporpedia. Pretty much figured I'd have to go direct to avoid any snafus, but wanted to see if there were any alternatives. Guess I'll have to get to know them that much more.

They helped you on a 1 yr unit with a 2 week turnaround on an RMA? VapeXhale 3 Year Platinum Warranty + $149.99 with a build your own starter kit. So that is something else to consider and weigh in. :hmm: The company is here to stay. Right?

I didn't realize made in PA. No wonder it took like 2 days to get here lol.

Hey man take the plunge. They should maybe have some sort of birthday sale or something? Maybe I'm confusing it with something else. I got my EVO after slaving away out of town for 6 weeks last year as a present with my OT.... Wanna say first week or 2nd week of October? And it was on sale then, don't remember why, so maybe a sale is in your future?

Or, I just used Stickstones code? I don't rmeber too many EVO hits :)

It's a straight pity they don't sell the Evolvers or straight swaggers anymore. They appeal much more than the sidecars. My Evolver Tree is one of my nicest pieces most definitely, a favorite for sure

Good use of time management there. :lol:I time my desktop to how long it takes me to make a pot of coffee.
So there is more than one version? If I were to consider getting a used one somewhere, this is a thing. How can you tell the difference? How long have they been around?
Does anybody own an EVO that is perhaps out of warranty, that they repaired in any way?

Don't they have like 3 select days they tend to have sales or something? I'm waiting till 4/20 and a ton of research otherwise. Will definitely register it as soon as it arrives and mention it to others to do so. Thanks for bringing up their info on that here several posts back.

Is there a rec'd retailer or would buying direct be a smarter move? Warranty and RMA is a big deal for me. Saved me the headaches and money lost with 4 different brand of vaporizers.:bang:
Essential info for a High end vape that uses glass parts. In a nutshell. Anything about the internals and the glass bamboo.

Glad to hear the good and bad and ??? of the EVO here at FC. :peace:
@CuckFumbustion i believe I had helped you way back with some decisions on the Eq, I wish you could try my Evo. Once I had purchased 1 I found no reasons to ever go back to my Eq. It is just that much of a better experience for me and extracts allot quicker and better imo. I could not believe it until I actually had it in my own hands . Whenever I see one pop up in the classifieds they go so quickly. PleAse purchase 1 , you have been missing out . It is such a enjoyable vApe that I want a 2nd .

You also rec'd an Authorized Arizer seller. Where direct is looking like the only real option for the EVO.

I am trying to narrow down my choices and considering the starter kit plus 4pk screens +/- plat war. Get the glass/better glass down the road? Any thoughts on the water pieces?

I am unsure on the authorized sellers . I would say purchase without a hydro tube as there are some really in expensive options around the $25-$35 price point that work well and if you feel you need to up the quality than wait for a vapexhale sale on there hydro tubes . I happen to really like using my existing glass with the $20 whip adapter , if you have the Eq whip all you will need is another 18mm adapter for the other end to mate it to all your existing glass , that's a good start . Starter kit is a good option and all you should need , the elbows for me last a long time , I have about 12 but only really rotate 2-4 at a time and give them a ISO bath every few weeks. It's always nice to have a glass nail or two if you like concentrates . I do suggest just the starter kit at 1st and try your existing glass and grab a cheap dhgate ht to try out and than move up if you feel the need to. When I 1st got mine I did not have a ht and used the same glass I was using with my Eq to start .

Edit : How about puff it up as a seller , never had a problem with them. They stand by what they sell if you don't want to purchase direct and i believe there is coupon codes , send a message to Randy over there , i am sure he will hook you up and give a discount - http://www.puffitup.com/VapeXhale-Cloud-EVO-p/vxh.cloud-evo.htm

@CuckFumbustion Building on some of what @Justpassedu said, I would say maybe don't pick up the platinum warranty if you're not going to purchase glass as well from VXL. This is because the Platinum warranty adds one case of covered accidental damage protection for the bamboo and HT both. Given that the warranty costs the same as a regular HT on the VXL site and that I'm super clumsy, for me it made sense to pick it up. Sure enough I broke a HT a while back, so when I feel like getting a new one (I'm all right for now) I should be able to pick it up for free rather than shelling out another 150. But like I said, if you're not getting the glass through VXL as well I don't think it's as tempting a deal. Just IMHO.

Unfortunately I don't have a ton of advice to give on glass, the Evo is the first time I've ever used a piece. Thankfully plenty of other users have great experience there :)

ETA: I've had the same 2 ELBs that came with the unit for about a year now, and even after accidentally squishing one so that it's permanently misshapen, they are still going strong. I wouldn't think you'd need more than 4 at a time TBH. It helps if you brush 'em out between each session I find. I use https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004ZB4K/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to get the job done, they were recommended by someone else on FC.

@CuckFumbustion - There are two ways I know to get some freebies when ordering a new EVO:

@stickstones has an affiliate link and code that will get you about $100 worth of free nails with any new EVO.
Official Forum Rep for Vapexhale -- Use this link to give Sticks credit, and use code 'stickstones' to get Two 5-Packs of VXNails ($100 value) with any Evo package purchase!

Someone else posted that they may have a 10% off code.

I think you might be able to use Sticks link above and one of the codes for either the nails or the 10% off.

You have a couple options to get all the info you have been asking for. You can pick up suggestions/observation piece meal as you've done here so far, you can read through this tread, which is a very good idea anyway as there as many subtleties you won't pick up otherwise, or as I suggested before you can send a PM to @stickstones and get on the phone with him. Sticks has a wealth of info about the EVO, was among the first of us that got the EVO so he has a great deal more experience, was a Cloud owner back to the beginning of VXL, and was a mod here at FC who knows a helluva lot of different vapes. This sounds like I'm pimping for him, not my intention it's just that he can help you sort it out, that's what he does now. The EVO is a different ballgame, needs to be approached as such.

Yesterday I was using my Evo and it was all fine and dandy. When I'm in a long session, I usually turn off/on my Evo again to reset the auto-shutoff timer. I had only been using it for 90 minutes that day.

Yesterday, whenI turned off/on my Evo, I noticed the LED went from a stable green to just red. i thought this was odd because my Evo was still warm enough to vape at 1'oclock on the temperature dial, the LED should've been green.

I thought maybe my Evo was flashing red&green before I reset the power to signal that the unit had automatically shut off earlier, so I thought "okay, should just take a few minutes for it to turn green again."

5 minutes later I saw it was still red and immediately unplugged it just for it to remain red when not plugged. :(

Is my Evo still safe to use or am I risking the Evo overheating again?

If my EVO remained red after unplugging it like that I'd call an exorcist and then VXL support.

Seriously - have you done the Bamboo test by covering the bottom and blowing into the top to see if its still a sealed airway/bamboo?

It seems my bamboo is still intact. I have no idea why my Evo started to turn into a Phantom. :(

My understanding is that the firmware may have gotten confused and that the reset may remove the confused memory. Kinda like what you do when your computer is acting up and won't boot. Some PC's need to have the memory cleared when they won't boot up... so you remove the battery and the plug from the wall and hold the power button for 15 seconds or so.

Damn you, party liquor
@UnidenWallet my EVO did that last year a couple of times and the bamboo was still intact so I kept using it. It did it again several weeks later and when it cooled the bamboo was no longer straight...it was slightly warped, enough that the holes in the bamboo restrictions wouldn't quite line up like they did before. I contacted VXL and they immediately told me not to use it again and send it in. They replaced the whole unit with a brand new one and even had me register the replacement unit as a new one so I got another full warranty period. Great CS IMO. I would definitely contact support and get that fixed.

Yea I'm thinking aftermarket on the glass. so the platinum wouldn't be much of a bump for me. Still don't have a clear idea what internals are considered replacement parts and which are considered the unit and needs to be sent back.

Definitely trying to get with the subtleties here I wouldn't pick up otherwise. Well actually the basics, then the more subtle things. Once I get closer to buying one, I will definitely take the suggestion to contact @stickstones

Have you tried the reset?
Turn the EVO to 12oclock/Default-notch and toggle the switch on and off four or 5 times to make it factory reset.
Like getting to know things like this ahead of time. Avoid a panic situation. I have had to 'reset' a few of my vapes before thinking they were stuck.
