Ah ha ha ha. Good one.
So you are saying that a little water incursion would not be a concern. That is pretty impressive, and good news. Not because I expect to get it wet, but just as an indicator of bulletproofness.
Someone mentioned AAs above. The Zion use 18650s, which are significantly larger than AAs. They are standard, tho, not proprietary.
So I spent another night testing out Ellie and getting too high, for science. There is no doubting her effectiveness, or cooperation in my quest for easy and efficient buzzativity. Been moving the screen around to size loads, and I find if I want I can load just one good hit if that is what I want to do, while usually I am loading 3 or 4 worth and just taking them one at a time. I've used the longer stem and find it does cool a little more, but not a HUGE difference as it is only an inch longer. I can see how a longer stem would cool even more. Tho, no hits so far have been so harsh as to REQUIRE water cooling, I still intend to do it, because.
I have not combusted, tho at full power I HAVE singed loads a little, mostly trying to be efficient. Obviously the taste near the end of this kind of behavior is not very good, but that is expected. The flavor at low temps is WONDERFUL. This is my best vape for flavor by far. While I can get good flavor with my lotus, Ellie is MUCH better with temp stability than a torch based vape, even when good at it.
The interior diameter of the male2males I have (dhgate extras) are slightly too large to hold the one screen I have so far, so water testing will suffer unless I figure something out before getting new screens. I didn't get at first (Doh) why the dome "rimmed" screens would work well, but I get it now and will order some today. I thought the rim would need to be inside the joint.
I'll be back to testing tonight. I'll try to answer any question if any are posed. I am enjoying my new friend Ellie...
