Nice clouds but it's huge...
This page shows the difference in size too, kind of...we'll get a side-by-side screenshot put up at some point for better comparison.

awesome! Immensely looking forward to further reviews and updates, don't spare any graphic details eitherMaking clouds my friends, making clouds. I spent the evening in the RBT zone getting to know the 2x4. This thing has grown by leaps and bounds compared to the original alpha unit I tried. I am literally BLOWN away lol. Rest assured I will put this beast through it's paces and report back. I also got a little hint of things that may come down the road. I may just be pontificating but I think you will see RastaBuddhaTao around for a long time. Me? I am going back to spend some more time with my 2x4 JEALOUS????
Well, we really appreciate the torture you are putting yourself through for us. 15-20 sessions a day? I hope you are retired...Top of the morning to you my friends. I started off on a fresh and full charge on my batteries for the 2x4. It takes a few rounds to figure out where you want the heat. I am currently running at ~1/3 of power capacity. I am on round #7 and no sign of drain on the batteries. Now that I have the power dialed in the clouds are nice and dense. I think finding the right amount of heat for your draw style and flow strength is the way to get the best out of the unit. Not even 24 hours in and I am in love. I am going to torture the piss out of this machine. It is currently 15 deg F here, it was -11 deg F when I woke up. The 2x4 was heating some seriously cold air and still left a nice vapor that coated my airways and left a nicely browned duff. I will be putting a lot of material through this thing daily I expect between 15-20 sessions.
We attempted to do both and found that the method for concentrates worked well but contaminates the unit with concentrate residue and taints the flavor moving back to flower. Mr P and I discussed it and have one more idea to try but sometimes a car can't be a truck. Th dedicated unit works so well I hesitate to release a sub par method in the name of marketing... On the other hand if we don't design in an adaquate solution the DIY folks may not come up with as good of a sub par solution lol. Plus we can do concentrate with one battery making for a more cost effective smaller unit. Product platform planning is tricky. What is everyone's thoughts?@RastaBuddhaTao will the Zion be able to handle concentrates as well or will that be a whole other unit down the road?
Thanks... That was MrP and I's conclusion as well... Flowers rule! Lol. I have Configured Mr. P's unit for flowers only and the performance improvement is noticeable in both vaporization uniformity and efficiency. So, no it will not do concentrates lolA lot of us don't do concentrates, so if making them possible or better in any way diminishes the quality or efficiency of doing flowers, the compromise wouldn't be worth it. Better to create a different device for concentrates, IMHO.
