The Wand mentioned in the *this* link will fit the ZephYr. I emailed the guy on ebaY , he told me it had an 18mm opening.
Basically any wand with a 18mm opening should work on the "Z"... Bruce correct me if I am wrong.

doback said:Hey guys so I'm a zephyr ion owner and have been for the past 5 months or so now. I can't tell you i love it because I'm always looking for another vape but it does it's job well.
I'd like to say several things about this vape and the company Zephyr. I am thoroughly disgusted by Zephyr company. I have called numerous upon numerous of times to be put through to a voice mail where I leave a message for no one to return it. Same goes for the emails I have sent. Still haven't received that free whip...
So with awful customer service off to the side let me continue onward with the vape itself starting from the base up.
doback said:well all i know is that when i first purchased the vaporized i went onto the zephyr website and filled in both pages with information on how to get the whip and software updates, not only did i not even get an email confirming anything but i was just completely ignored. And i've called multiple multiple times and no one has yet to pick up. I live in california and i've called many times ranging from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. always goes straight to voicemail. All i'm saying is what i know and what i've experienced and so far you guys haven't contacted me back up until now. Even sent you my zephyr's serial number on the form i filled out...

all the replacement parts(baskets, screens, seals, bags) are also pretty cheap.Clever User name said:hey doback,
I have found that brushing the basket with a soft toothbrush whisks the screen of buildup, and a little ISO on cotton for the outside does the trick. After long periods of use with out the periodic whisking, i use a dental tool for the curve in the basket, pick out the hardened crumbs like plaque....If you have funked your screen up beyond that, good thing they include 2 baskets with every Ion!
Which is related to the airflow. It is restricted when the basket gets clogged and will "blow out your gasket." If you have a nice clean bowl the seal will function in the correct position. I ordered 2 more bowls, because i was having the same occurrence, but now i keep my new baskets clean and i have had no gasket trouble.

While the rest of your post is appreciated and your opinions point out some valid issues with what you dislike (and like) about the ION, I do have to take particular notice of the above statement. I answer every email that makes it to me within 24 hours, usually less. I answer every phone call within business hours within 3 rings or return within 20 minutes. These are standards I have set for myself and am proud of the service I offer.

I been wondering the same thing... being new to vaping, I never really weighed my stuff before packing it in a bowl.. so while I see tons of measurements... It doesnt mean a whole lot. I mean, I can kinda of estimate, but I wonder how close I can really be.
I currently smoke with 2 other people. Between the 3 of us, we smoke 3 bowls (of pretty high quality stuff) at each session out of a glass pipe...
I ordered the Ion earlier today (VaporizerKits.com)... God willing it will be here on Friday.
Any info on how much we should load up the Zephyr Ion would be appreciated. Any tips on running our session would be great too.
I really need info on temps.. I have heard that 380F is a good temp. to get a "baked" feeling? And is it true that 365F will give you more an active high? That would be a nice change of pace while watching Football on Sundays.
Anyway.. any help would be much appreciated.
Be good. Stay up.

I load enough to cover the screen, and I keep it loose. I run at 184 or 215 C. 215 really hits the spot.

Good to know about the site. They ship USPS, which has been a nightmare for me in the past.. got my fingers crossed for this one. I fretted over which site to order from for a while. They had the most updated info as far as I could tell and I took that as a good sign.
Anyway.. the temps you quoted are kinda confusing. If I am not mistaken, that is about 362F and 419F.. that seems like such a wide window.. Maybe you could explain the difference?
