Yocan Torch - Best Portable Enail

I got this thing, and its my first foray into enails, altho my friend has the more common box-wired kind with temp controls. But even he likes this thing.

The hits i get from this are amazing and i feel like it saves me 5x the bho vs an actual "torch"

I do love it. I see my friend using a "typical" enail still using a torch sometimes with the quartz banger while its attached to the temp box. He does it for a few seconds to finish the bowl.
For me, im trying to avoid the whole butane torch thing.

Anyway, of course much more than the purchase price goes into buying nails like the Dr Dabber. They wont stay clean forever. But ive managed to make 2 nails last maybe 2 months so far. I also tried it with greens, with a pancake. Def not anything like firefly2 or any pro herb vape.


For me, the main thing is, the way that its built with all the o-ring/bands. It seems to me you cant replace the very base, which def needs cleaning here and there, and i havent found replacements for the rings, which also are very important to the unit's functioning. Has anyone been able to find either replacement rings or a replacement base?

Also been thinking about a Yocan pen, maybe Evolve XL or Nyx. Or the Dr Dabber erig though for now it seems this works as a good erig. I just need to find those replacements!

Some of those i hear might thread in, but im fairly new to the Yocan Torch. Even with the the o-ring and base not being replaceable, i actually got myself a spare Torch for 40 bucks, well worth it.

I also need some new tops (altho you can totally dab without the carb cap, just gets more residue on things

So far I haven't needed to replace the first one, i just give certain parts a good alcohol wash every week or so. Mostly the cap and the air intake cylinder button.

Anyone looking for a good true electronic enail to plug into your bong, i highly recommend trying this out. I cant imagine burning my throat and wasting resources with a real butane torch anymore, and this hits waaaay harder than one of those portable wax pens.

Been wanting to get something to clean up my many glass Jars
of Sap, Distillate & stuff stuck to many silicon containers, lol.
After reading this I did a search and found it on sale for $85

Thx much , one more question plz.
I make my own dab tools out of glass so I can melt on donuts
& poke in atty's while live without frying me or something.
Can I clean/vape off a metal one or avoid?
I have Pinnacle water tool & D020 what would you suggest
from your vast experience as a connector & what tecnique
do you use up down in hehehe, lol.
REALLY Appreciate the help as it correlates to dollars
an old Happy Hippy doesn't have to err too much.

D20 would be best out of what you have & also don’t go poking any metal in the atty while firing it, if you are going to do that use your glass. I personally just load a dab and put the top on and hit it. Another tip is don’t overload the atty, a small ball around the size of a bb is perfect, anything bigger and you’ll be making a mess and clogging it up. You really need to have the lid on for the best hits also .

Nice, glass jars for storing your Concentrate for longer periods of time vs using the silicone. The glass is better imo. For the boundless cf710 you can actually take the unit and dab right out of a glass jar or invert it on your glass and take huge dabs but not with the yocan torch. Yeah piu packages there products really well and usually throws in some candy wich is a cool touch. I’ll get you that link a bit later via pm I am out at the moment and have a long drive ahead of me. Enjoy using it and report back with some results .

a lot when you have been getting high for 56 yrs...
I have owned the Yocan Torch I use with Donuts, Evolve+
or Cerum with a DNA mod TC NI 330-390-F Long cool hitz.

I only paid $27 from FastTech for Torch.
I use parts on the torch silicon coated connection for 2.5 atty
to pinnacle water tool, very nice 20 second cool tc hits.
The CF-7 was $85 from Puffitup , am I getting the two conversations mixed up?

As far as "the torch is like a pen with glass attachment": Ive owned a Dr Dabber Ghost (from about 3yrs back) and a decent KandyPen, as well as just your standard universal titanium attachment for my bong, which is of course heated with a torch for "full on dabs". On the other hand, i felt like the Dr. dabber and other pens would stretch out my wax by 10 times but not give me the intense hits of the bong/rig. However, after trying the Torch, it kicks the shit out of the Dr Dabber in terms of potency, and is definitely just as strong or in the same realm as the rig. However, the amazing part is not only does it give me those potent dabs, if the dabber would last for 10 hits, this lasts for 5, which is amazing when delivering "full-on" dabs. I would say it seems to be something like 50% combustion and 50% vaporization (just a guess, but im sure does both). Now, if you meant a "superpowered pen", i could see where you're going with that , as it does use similar tech especially vs the typical enails you see with the temp box

"Small chamber area"

I found that strange, never really needed more. Even when packing a "bowl" of bho. You pack that out with some live rez, or especially bho thats more crystalline and harder, you can hit it like a bowl instead of repacking every dab. I mean. Personally i think the size is great.

Honestly my only problem with this thing is its making dabbing super fucking easy and much more convenient than my herbal vapes. And i never wanted to be one of those "its dabs or its nothing" people.
Luckily i still love herb and i love smoking/vaping it, actually it seems like cross-tolerance isnt 100%

And ironically i was actually going to ask if anyone know of something like this but much more portable and not too pricey? (maybe the Newer dr dabber erig?). Also if there are pens that deliver strong dabs, maybe even one of Yocan's. I was thinking the Evolve XL looks cool with the quad-coils

No need for expensive connectors, just put together

Just an outgrowth of my Experiments with
the Torch & Yocan Donuts Atty's.

I also have found a great new way to clean all my tubing
for tasteing smooth in rotational use.

I was rinsing with white vinegar, but it was clean but took a
few hits to lose smell, so I stuck about 6 of these 1' to 3' hoses
in my Vegetable Steamer & sort of Autoclave them for 45 mins.
Unreal, came out Soft & Clean with no smell, so far 2 cycles
no degrading of tubes.

From vaporization to combustion, what do you think the Torch does more? and just a GonG Pen, or is it more? I personally like this thing alot, what do the rest of you think? Also, how does it stack up to a Dr Dabber Boost mini erig?

Ive had mine for a few months. The only thing is with really sticky shatter, it seems to mess the nail up quick. I went through 2 nails so far, on the 3rd one. Need to buy more tops too. I wish those were included!

But live rez isnt really sticky so it causes much less of a mess

I say check out the boundless cf710 if you are looking to use it with glass.

^I already have two Yocan Torch devices, for $40 each.

What else is it for, if not water?
I find it smooth enough to run in a dry pipe as well.

Works great with both my bong and a hammer 18mm pipe i have. I just wanted nice, affordable e-dabbing. And i replaced the coils with a donut, now the Yocan is Fire! I love it. But ill look into the cf710. Im familiar with Boundless and their whole herbal vape rep. I know that alot of people like their vapes, despite some faulty advertising at first.

I actually just bought a nice wax pen that threads in all these Yocan Torch and Nyx nails, including donuts, and has temp control. Really happy with it really. And its like $35.
