Haha, you can count on me for a Glass question ;)

I just realised the other day I forgot to send my WW back in to cookie for a repair
I thought I'd sent it off, then I was cleaning out my wardrobe , and there it was, sitting on a shelf.:uhoh:

Once I get it back, I'm pretty sure it'll dethrone the LSV as my "taking to a buddies place" vape again

It was my take to a buddies vape too, that is where i broke my stem actually. Now i have my Solo for when i'm out.

In my room the WW is always warm and ready, when i work at home, it is the only vaporizer i use everyday.

VAPOLITICS!
Hey a little update on my WW!
I have been using it exclusively at home for 3 days during which it has been on 24/7. I love its size & weight, efficiency, cloud production, gong versatility, no wooden and/or silicone flavoring after 12H of heat, extraction "modularity" through screen positioning (and future VV plug on its way!).
Last but no least, for personal-medical reasons I have to vape in the kitchen for a few months when my wife is home, and with this bad boy always on it's as convenient as before. I even prepare the night stem, when I wake up in the middle of the night I go to the kitchen, take 2 big rips and back to wonderland!
Thx Cookie for your awesome package, and as discussed we are going to work together mos'def'!

Nice to hear you like your WW, the reasons you mention pretty much sum up how i view my WW. :)

Good to know about bringing the WW to France too.

It's done, of course..... but nothing... he don't show each model he made

This thread has many posts with users posting their WWs, Cookie hasn't posted every WW he made in his website, just a few examples, and a few here also.

You won't find every WW made like on the Underdog website, if that was what you were looking for.

I got a wychwood a few days ago and its excellent,
heats up quickly and tastes great.
wood work is very nice.
I have a more traditional log vape and this is way better
much less restrictive draw and much smaller and lighter so easier to handle.
Cheers cookie great vape.

Hey hey all. Back from an unexpected trip up to London to catch up with one of my oldest and closest friends from 'back in the day', and it seems I missed quite a bit.

@Your Highness. I'm glad it made it finally. It was a bit of a wait but I'm glad you feel it was worth it :) our pics are definitely way better than mine, photography doesn't seem to be my strong point :\

@farscaper. Thanks for the seal of approval  Your one was a hot little number and it looks like your getting on well together :)

@FLskwat. It took a while for that to make it that short hop across the channel, but hey - better late then never! Have you managed to lay your hands on a VV yet? I like the ice tray stem holder - nifty idea. And looking forward to working with you too :D

@OTA. Your always there to chime in with sage advice - thank you kindly.

@FMG. I got yours back in the post and will start work on your new one. I'll pm you tomorrow when I have a better idea of what I'm going to do for you.

@LeTchen. If you contact me directly we can discuss a vaporizer for you. Mostly I make to order but tend to have one or two around that aren't orders which I'd be happy to email you some pics of.

@Vapenstein1. Thanks for posting the link. The navigation bar is a bit tricky to see. I'll have to see if I have a mate that's savvy enough to sort it out for me.

@Vorrange. Nice to hear your WW is still making a daily appearance for you. Let me know when your ready to shoot on those stems.

@Delta9. Welcome to the club. It's quite a different beast to the original style log vapes indeed - I'm glad you find it an improvement

@J.R.R.TOKIN ,Hello just found this thread am very interested as i live in uk, read up to page 10 so far ,and i have a few questions:

1 What is the life expectancy of this vaporizer please?
2 Do you make different designs inside then with regards to closing it of from the wood below?
3 Is there charring eventually?
4 Only a 1 year guarantee when PD was more and UD 2 years why?
5 Would running this at 12v or 9v if its possible? to make it run a bit cooler and therefore last longer or am i being stupid? (i have a power supply that does from 3v to 15v)

Hey hey PDwasmy1st, let me answer those questions.

1) It's really hard to tell overall, but the first few I built have been going for about a year strong now and show little sign of any deterioration.

2) I have made a few with a copper cup sealing the bottom of the core. So far my tester hasn't shown any signs of oxidisation but I'm not too happy with it as a seal so I am actually re-working the core design at the moment and am in the prototyping stage. The redesign allows for the bottom to be sealed off from the wood below if requested. More on that when I'm totally satisfied with it, but so far so good.

3) I had one unit come back that had charring after 5 months - I made a new one in exchange. It did concern me so I asked for one of the fist I ever made and gave to a friend, and know has been in constant use for over 10 months, to be returned for a thorough inspection. That unit showed practically no signs of charring at all. With the new design I believe the chance of it charring will be massively reduced.

4) The reason I opted for 1 year was the growing popularity of VV power supplies. It's too easy to ruin the ceramic heater with excessive voltage being put through it, or forgetting it's on a high voltage and leaving it and going out. However, what I do offer is that after the year I will maintain it with only cost for parts and no labour charge.

5) With the ceramic heaters used in log vapes I don't think you could get enough heat off of them without going over 11 volts. If you really want VV control you need to be able to adjust by 0.1 at a time as half a voltage can make a big difference to the output temp. I'm finding with the new design that the available temp has increased, so a slightly lower voltage works. But those multi-voltage supplies you have can pump out some very high voltages over what they state, so beware.

I hope that's answered your questions :)

Thank you for your quick reply Tokin , i will hold out for the redesign then :)

I have my PD on 12v setting , the power supply cost me £15 ($24) from a reputable company so im pretty sure it puts out 12v , what do you think? i have the original pd adapter that i never used for some reason (maybe i heard it was'nt up to much, or had'nt worked out i only needed a uk adpator doh!)

sorry about the 2 posts and still didnt get it right!! lol

Sorry PD, I missed this question.

It depends on weather it is a regulated or non-regulated ps. I have a good quality non-regulated ps that pumps out 17v idle and 14.3 under power. The best thing is to get a cheap multimeter and check it.

I have been using my WW with the Zap Bubbler only, I really like the heavy thick clouds I get from this little unit. I have been using it with my VVPS keeping it around 12.5 and having great success with it. Its getting a work out and needs a little tlc soon, I need to wax it up and let her shine!

Sounding like your having a lot of fun with your WW V :) Have you got the new stems yet?

Your a lucky guy to get one of those Zap Bubblers. They are a really elegant addition to any log vape. And please do give your baby a waxing, all ladies like to be moisturised ;)

So were only 2 weeks away from CHRISTMAS!!! And I thought I'd throw in a little festive cheer by offering 25% OFF Wychwood Vaporizer Kits till the 25th of December. And as its Christmas I'll be throwing in a Head Chef Micro grinder with every kit (as well as the usual goodies).
