What's your favorite torch or lighter to use with the Vapcap?

Hopping into gas chat to say that once I got whip-it! brand butane I never went back. Prices are decent, the gas is really clean, and my lighters love it. That and the little purge tool and the only problems I have with lighters is poor QC on new ones from the manufacturer. I went through 5(!!!!) Yocan Temporal Torches before finding one that worked properly and didn't leak.

On topic, the Vertigo Carrera is far and away the best I've found for the vapcap. That wide flat flame wraps around the cap when held perpendicular, and is an absolute beast for heating. I found, even with it turned down, I had to start heating closer to the tip or risk combustion. I have two and they've been reliable. (As expected from Lotus Group lighters.)

But really I just use my induction heater these days for the vapcap and stem devices. The easy button has won me over...

A few good options here, I have a Zippo butane that still works well that I have had for a few years now but does not get much use due to my Ispire Wand IH,

Have you found any butane that's helped your mini torches work better?
i am going to mail order some soon. I did find some Zippo but that is about it.

Meanwhile my little Honest completely died. The fill valve is broken and i can hear hissing from the bottom when i attempt a fill. Eventually all will leak out. I did get it partially filled once and it wouldn't run properly. No real torch "jet action" but it would act almost like a Bic lighter telling me it was leaking pressure. Not safe so not being used. I bought it when i got my M7 so i put in a warranty request w Dynavap.

that Honest may be a EU market item only

i have one of the basic Honest models and it has been better after switching to Whip It. However on a hot and humid day we are having it doesn't want to work. Of course constantly transitioning from cool basement to outside is not helpful at all.

Thanks for that feedback
Just wondering if the basic honest model you have is flint stone of piezoelectric… flint stone I feel would be more reliable.
Or would it really ?
