What's your favorite torch or lighter to use with the Vapcap?

Unnecessary extravagance wasn't really what I meant. Of course everyone has their own set of values and circumstances. Some people want to drive a Porsche, some are fine with a Hyundai. I'm not questioning that. But that Porche buyer gets something significant by paying 5 times as much for their car whether it be the performance or the cache. None of the lighters sitting at my vape station cost me over $10 and most I have had for over 5 years and they all work great with my Vapcaps. Maybe not an Anvil, tho I'm not sure the PB207 is enough for that either.
Hey, anyone can use anything they like, but to suggest that one needs to spend $40 on a torch lighter is just wrong. Of course they can, they just don't need to.

Can you share a link for the one furthest on the left?

For vapcaps, I really think that a zippo insert is currently the best option because when (not if) it breaks you at least have the outside case as a permanent fixture, plus if you feel like the hassle, they will replace it for you in addition to the conveniance of being readily available at smoke shops etc.

For heavier use such as the Vestratto and home use, The orca is the best butane torch bar none, but requires a separate igniter. It is the closest you will get to a liftetime torch, and the precision of temperature control you can get with it is unmatched. Second to that is the blazer gb2001 which is not as refined or precices as the orca but has the conveniance of being relatiovely easy to find and has a built in igniter which practically guarantees that it will break at some point.

I don't know if anyone has one of these. I do. It works for most lighters but not all.
Butane Lighter Air Bleed Tool Gunmetal Grey https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D6DJ9RM/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_BESFE8ZTY2KGF028AC80
Lots of different tools out there for that. This one is my favorite.

I paid less from elsewhere but can't find it...

Ahhh, "The Butane Screw Thing" is what it was called...

Could someone recommend me a torch with the trigger button like these kind, but with the absolutely easiest trigger to pull. If you're 6'4 220 please remember your probably alot stronger 💪 than someone whose asking this type of question. I have this one and it's a little too hard to be comfortable. Thanks!

I don't know how hard it is to trigger the one you have but I have the torch of this set (upon @simba's recommendation). The trigger is the softest I've ever experienced.
The torch itself is a solid performer but the tank is small regarding the fuel output.
It can be found elsewhere for cheaper and without the full set btw.

Thanks! I shoud've stated that I'm looking for something with a large flame. I have 2 very similar to what you have but they're a smaller flame. I really liked the feel of the "gun" kind but I don't use it because it's too hard to pull and keep it pulled. Geez, first world problems. :disgust:

it does seem like there is good love for the Honest single.

I got mine when i bought a Dynavap M7. Is there any maintenance for that? It seems at time like it just wants to sputter and not start although there is plenty of butane in there.

It's good to completely purge the mini torches out every now and then. My bigger torches don't seem to really care, but it's probably good for them also. You may have to do it every time you refill it if you want the absolute best capacity and performance out of it. You'll have to hit the valve multiple times and let the torch sit or hold it in your hands / breathe warm air on it / shake it in between valve depressions until you can't hear anything escaping to 100% fully purge it. In my experience though, a lot of the mini torches can be sputtery and inconsistent anyway. I need to try a PB-207 one of these days...

You need to buy quality butane gas with "near zero impurities" for jet flame lighters otherwise the impurities will slowly block the nozzles and kill the lighter
I was using Bernzomatic, is that ok? Where would be best place i can buy butane? Preferred brand?
thanks for the tip too hotmeals.

I purge them if they arrive with mystery gas inside too

Newport bottle gas for a lot of brands and label the good stuff with the "near zero impurities" label
So I just search for the cheapest "near zero impurities" gas I can find
I think I'm using LAZR brand at the moment
