I only tried to place the smell a couple of times. It's very pungent and sweetish. Still not sure about the smell.I live in a problematic country hehe that's why it's expensive
@JBone65 how about these Sherbet Cookies? it does smell like buttery cookies/orange cookies? miss Sherbet so much
I knew instantly when I stuck my big nose in the bag (she opened a sealed package) that I wanted it. I almost succeeded in vacuuming a popcorn bud into my nostril. Even the first low temp hit (220°f) was loaded with "sunshiney" sweet terpene flavor, followed by an impressive, happy feeling "upstairs". Don't really know but it seems at least as good and maybe better than the stuff which used to cost 2 or 3 times as much.
In my new rationalization, I'm thinking all THC is the same, as long as you can get 24% THC then it all comes down to the flavor and the effect. If I'm not mistaken this is more satisfying weed in one key way, I tend to get one hit and forget about it for a longer time. I used to get three months out of each ounce but have been using an ounce every two months lately. I think this is three month weed. That's about 55¢/ day and as stoned as I ever was.

Hows the quality? Im in Ontario and get some decent mids for between $65-85 an oz depending on the strain. Not the best but def not the worst. In my teenage years (35 now) i was paying +$200 an oz and had to sell in order to make my smoke. Its now cheap enough (and theres too much competition) to not have to worry about that anymore. But thats cuz half the country seems to grow lmao

The weed scene in nyc is incredibly diluted by California illegal grows, which are certainly not organic. I go up to Maine to buy my bud, they take NY med cards and incredible organic weed is both cheap and widely available.

Where I live, In Canada. We can get ounces for 100 bucks canadian. These are usually quite dry and filled with a lot of bottom of the bag/shake, but nuggets for the most part. Really high quality stuff too, just not AAA(LP's in canada have to go through many rules and regs to legally grow cannabis)

Here in Canada, we have it incredibly good. There is a great variety, the quality is excellent, and it is cheap.
Going to a retail store, it is around $100-!80/ounce. Buying online, flower starts at $1.80/gram. On sale, AAAA can be found for $3-5/gram. Last week, there was budget hash for $88/ounce.
Right now, the question is "will this last?". The prices are so low, I doubt anyone is making money.

In Florida there are Flower sales every day at almost every dispensary and what I mean by that is....9 times out of 10 something better than mids comes out around $30 - $35 an 8th but they want you to believe the regular price is $50 to $60. Example: the regular price of $50 is crossed out and the sale price shown is $30. I'm beginning to think the real average price for an 8th is $30 - $35 and we're just playing a game here.
There are also plenty of what's called "top tier" for $50 to $65 that goes on sale for 50% off several times a year which is the only time I'd buy it.

This pic is from two months ago but I just pulled out another 1/4 oz of Lilac Diesel, 24% sativa, and added it into my Frankenstein blend.
Bought two ounces for $35 apiece plus tax (~$41.50/oz from memory) during the 420 sale.
I'm considering not renewing my OMMA license in late July. It's only $100 for two years but they require another phony medical certificate for another $100. I can get 4 ounces of premium small buds for $200, and my vaping rate is pretty low these days. There's no penalty if I decide to renew the license later on, but I won't need to. I'm hoping recreational weed gets on the ballot this November anyway.

I don't consider myself an expert by any measure, so I may be wrong. But I have looked into this a bit out of my own curiosity, and the extent of my current research has convinced me that there is not any reason to expect the "littles" ("popcorn buds" is what I'm used to hearing them referred to as) to be significantly less potent than the larger prettier buds pulled from the same plant.
I'm not saying that the big pretty colas at the top won't be significantly better than the little popcorn buds from lower on the plant, but I am saying that the difference (as long as the "littles" are genuinely from the same batch of plants, just not including the colas and big buds from the tops, and not just another batch of plants that are the same strain, but didn't grow as well) is small enough that it totally justifies buying the "littles" buds if you need to save some money and the price difference is significant.
As far as pre-ground is concerned...I wouldn't buy anything pre-ground.

As a medical patient we get it per 10g bag so 3 of those is between ~$300 and 400. A few years ago before the people in charge of the program decided to turn sick people into cash cows we received whatever dosage we have prescribed whether it was 1 ounce of 7 for the standard price of $100..

Jesus, prices are insane! Haven't actually bought any other than on trips abroad but mates rates for me in our closed group (in either direction) would either be £120 or swapsies. No till organic from exceptional stock that is better than anything else available. But that's on the basis that we return favours.
Outside of that SWIM would charge no more than £180 for medical needs or £200 for rec. It's always been £25 an eighth round here unless you are buying someone's relabelled stardawg mids in a mylar runtz bag (then it's £15/g and you are an idiot).

Small buds from a great plant are probably great. I wouldn't buy anything without knowing exactly what it is, seeing and smelling it beforehand, etc. Class B buds would have the same strain characteristics as A, same flavor, potentially could provide the same buzz IMO
I bought two small Sungrown ounces at a local store, Mango Cannabis for $42 & $52. Have been trying to get more, waiting on a delivery, on a call list, etc. Sungrown vs indoor is a separate question. Premium Sungrown might be as low as $75-100/oz here, will check, that's a different subject from class A vs B buds. Never going back to unsustainable indoor weed, up to 70x more electricity and 3x the price. It's all theory until you have a big bag of excellent smelling cheap buds sitting on the table in front of you. I got lucky with the following Sherbet Cookies, mainly because it produces an excellent head buzz, for $45/oz plus tax. Trying to get more before it's time to renew my license. Won't be needing that anymore...
Edit:. On the subject of Sungrown vs indoor, imagine two Acapulco gold plants on a hill in Mexico. One gets fertilized, one doesn't. Which is better?
