Ponzi scheme suspect flees into frigid California lake using underwater ‘sea scooter’

A Shasta County man, wanted for his role in an alleged $35 million Ponzi scheme, briefly evaded FBI agents trying to arrest him Monday morning by swimming into the cold water of California’s largest reservoir using an underwater “sea scooter,” federal prosecutors said.

There, he stayed in the water for nearly 30 minutes using the Yamaha 350Li submersible device before he eventually resurfaced and was taken away in handcuffs. Sea scooters are motorized devices that pull users underwater at speeds of about 4 mph.

Another monolith in California.

Real curious. It does look like it’s from 2002 space Odyssey. And it’s funny. Cause in the movie it was a sign of a new age coming. Is this what’s happening? Or is it some fools doing it as a scam or prank to make us think the new age is coming during a pandemic? Just thinking highly.

Mysterious Monolith Update: Racists Destroy California Monolith, Proclaim Christ Superior to Space Aliens

The new California monolith was torn down overnight by a group of right-wing young men who livestreamed their vandalism in a grainy video posted on the blockchain streaming site DLive.

In the video, a group of three men are seen pushing the statue over and chanting "America First" and "Christ is King." The men, one of whom was wearing a "Make America Great Again" headband, called part of the monolith's construction "gay" then replaced it monolith with a wooden cross. It is a decidedly bleak turn in the ongoing monolith saga that has generally been a delightful distraction for a world wracked by a pandemic.
